It was a great experience and something truly different. The guided tours and food were great, and it was truly roar and snore hearing the lions roaring at 4 am. Walking around the zoo in the morning with no one around was the best way to see everything

Great experience! Would highly recommend to others - expensive but definitely worth the money if you are on the fence about it. We got to feed the giraffes in the morning and it was honestly an amazing experience. 10/10. But don’t expect a good sleep as the animals are pretty loud overnight - not a big deal to us though!

The experience was fantastic, the staff took us behind the scenes of what happens at night, which was fantastic. The food and drinks were great. The staff were fantastic, the rooms were excellent and we were really warm considering it was in the middle of winter. I would recommend this to anyone who likes the zoo, its a different but really great experience at night.

The behind the scenes experience of Roar and Snore was amazing. Whilst the food and amenities are great it’s the staff and the uniqueness of this experience are what makes it so special. Well worth the money for an experience not lost on adults and teens. Great family activity.

Surprise for hubby's birthday. He loved it. Not my sort of thing, I like a room with ensuite, but I have no complaints. Staff were very good, food was plentiful, accommodation was basic but clean, bed had electric blanket and was surprisingly comfortable.

Such a wonderful experience. Spectacular views, incredible animal experiences and amazing staff. We did this during Wild Lights which made it even more lovely, and the night crowds added to the atmosphere

While it is a little pricey, it is totally worth every cent to do at least once in your life for two reasons. 1: the whole experience, but in particular the behind-the-scenes experiences with the animals, is AMAZING! 2: the money generated by "Roar and Snore" goes directly to funding conservation projects around the world. The campsite has wonderful views of the Harbour - but I recommend tent #7. It is in the front row of tents (there are two rows), has a clear view across to the Opera House and Harbour Bridge, and is away from the main breakfast tent and toilets. But regardless, you will have such an amazing experience. You may not need to do it every year – but for sure you need to do it at least once in your life.

We loved our overnighter at Taronga Zoo Roar and Snore…..do it!!! The animal encounters are fantastic and the guides are experienced, friendly and caring. The glamming was great…we asked for a tent in the front row facing the harbour and received it so big thumbs up there. This was our third attempt to stay due to covid cancellations but the staff dealt with out rebooking really well.
