The Pavilion is a firm favourite of mine, having stayed many times over the last 7 years. It’s in a fabulous position on the main road into town and across from the light rail. It’s quiet and the rooms are beautifully appointed with very comfy beds, crisp white linen and towels, a great bathroom, coffee and tea provisions etc, and the staff are friendly and professional. Highly recommend it.

Hotel's Favourite
Their devotion to the internal garden fills my heart with gratitude & joy each visit. The dining space is so well done with the atrium space, outdoor heaters & different levels for seating. The staff are so very helpful, going above & beyond, what I would expect, normally from a hotel. It’s a sheet delight to visit Canberra as a result; it really elevated our experience, quite frankly

From the point of check in through to our two day stay - evening was done efficiently and the service was excellent. Larry and his staff were super efficient and friendly. We had three superior rooms and a one bedroom apartment- all very very good and very clean. The atrium is a very beautiful place to sit and enjoy breakfast, drinks etc. Will definitely come back to this property and will recommend it to anyone. Prasad’s/Maharaj/Parmanand

We waited over 2 hrs for our room to be ready despite the fact that we already called at 11am saying if our room is ready as we are travelling with a 2y/o and 7y/o - they said that they have a struck 2pm checking in, we then decides to have lunch and checked in at 2.10pm - guess what room still not ready, asked us to wait and given a complimentary drink - an hour later I need to ask again if it's ready as they don't update us and my kids are getting so tired - room still not ready, almost 4.30pm when our room is ready, the guy give us our key and just pointed us we're our room is, didn't even help us with our luggages. Next day we asked for our room to be cleaned and put the door tag to pls make our room, left at 9am to be at my son's hospital appointment, came back at 2pm room is not cleaned, cleaner knocked on the door at 4.15pm, we said our kids are sleeping, can they pls come back in few minutes so I can wake the kids up, out of our room at 4.45pm and told reception that were just gonna go out so they can clean our room and we came back at 7pm room not cleaned! Apparently according to the reception cleaners already left! Very disappointed.

Starting with the front desk staff, the two girls couldn’t have been more pleasant and helpful. The room has everything you could need in it and is very clean and tidy. Nice atrium in the centre of the building (second building). Bed is fairly firm but comfortable enough. The shower is probably the most powerful one I’ve ever had which is amazing. It’s also huge enough to fit at least 6 people in if that’s your thing hehe. The only problem with the room is it’s very noisy being right on a main road with little sound dampening. You get used to the cars but the idiots on motorbikes thinking it’s a drag strip are another thing altogether so ask for a room on the other side of the building.

Room Tip: Try to get a room on the other side of the building from the main road or bring earplugs.
