Detailed Reviews
If you are looking for a quiet relaxing place to stay this hotel is perfect. On the other hand if you want a lively atmosphere avoid this place. It really is off the beaten track in a tiny village in the mountains.
The hotel is spotlessly clean and all rooms have spectacular views. There is a good swimming pool and a spa ( which was closed during our visit )
Our only criticism would be that the nearest restaurant is a 10 minute drive away along a narrow, winding road.

Very nice quiet place
The welcome is friendly and good advice
Spacious and clean well appointed room with beautiful view and balcony
The Pension with pool is located in a charming uphill village, a little isolated.
If the Pension has no restaurant there are 2 very nice restaurants 2 km away
The Inn is well located to discover the region of Potes and Picos de Europa

Posada with very nice views, very quiet and with a lot of charm. Rustic and cozy atmosphere in the living room and spacious, clean and comfortable bedrooms.

Spent a day at Posada Valle del Oso for my boyfriends birthday and we both loved it. Really friendly staff, great facilities, amazing views, great breakfast... cannot fault it at all!
Recommend it 100%. We stay at the suite on the top floor and got a free visit to a winery nearby.

If you are looking for a relaxing place to stay, La Posada Calle del Oso is your place! Surrounded by only a few other village homes and nature you will be welcomed with the sounds of the valley and of peaceful village life. The room was gorgeous, new, clean and cozy. Very friendly service as well!
The only thing to note it that you must take your car go to any kind of restaurant/supermarket, yes that is how peaceful Lerones is, not even a restaurant!

On the plus side the hotel is a very nice building, built about. 4 years ago but in keeping with the very old village traditional buildings. The bedrooms are very clean and smart with some fabulous views across the valley to the mountains, and the Mum and daughter who run the place are really lovely. BUT , it is tricky to evaluate the location. On one side , as mentioned , the views are fabulous, but the tiny village is basically in the middle of nowhere. There are two restaurants within 7 minutes, down the windy road to the main road coming up from Potes. One of the restaurants , El Hoyal is excellent . Run by a lovely couple with some really great dishes. We went there twice and both nights were memorable. The other one, La Viorna , was absolutely disgusting and would rank as the worst restaurant I have EVER been to. So, the only other option is to go to Potes which is over 20 minutes away. The one major negative about the hotel was the breakfast. It was very very poor. Edible, but in comparison to very other B & B we have been to it would rank as poor. All processed materials , incredibly boring tasteless toast, poor coffee and even the "hot " water requested to make our own tea was basically just warm. If it wasn't for the fact that we were so far away from the Potes we would have gone there each day for breakfast. So all in all a tricky one to rate but, the hotel itself and the owners were very good and the views are fabulous.

+1
This is a place my wife and I will surely return. This was the best place we visited in Spain, with a lot of nature, friendly staff, clean hotel, and a suggestion for a restaurant which cooks delicious food (I must say, probably the only good food we ate in Spain in one whole week). You need a car to go to the hotel, but worth staying there for a totally relaxing holiday.

This is a beautiful spot, just a few kilometres off the normal tourist routes but it feels like life hasn't changed much in the last couple of hundred years. There's something wonderful about lounging by a pool with all the 21st century conveniences (a better Internet connection than back in the UK for instance) and yet have the local farmer herd his cattle (complete with cowbells) by you on the way to the higher pastures. The family that runs this posada takes great pride in their property and in making sure that your stay is really comfortable. The views from the hotel are spectacular, from the lush fields that surround the village to the snow-capped mountains in the distance. It's a quiet spot but there is a bar at the bottom of the hill and a restaurant just up the road from that. Potes, one of the main tourist spots in the Picos de Europa, is just 20 minutes away down the valley; there are plenty of bars and restaurants there to keep anyone satisfied.

Run by the delightful daughter of the owner, this extremely high quality nely constructed building which only opened its doors as a Posada last Christmas, seems strangely out of place in this mediaeval farming village environment miles from anywhere.
If you want complete isolation from civilisation and the tourist trails, then Valley of the Bears is for you but with no restaurants or bars anywhere nearby it will be a very quiet stay indeed!

Peaceful backwater because there is nothing around, you have to take the car for everything and by road full of curves.
Posada without air conditioning / fan, we were given the attic with a tiny window that at 41o during the day and 25o at night it is impossible to catch an eye of the heat it was... almost more inside the room than outside, a bit claustrophobic the room.
Very friendly staff and correct breakfast,
