We booked a birthday party for our 10 year old daughter with the restaurant businessman and we had struck an agreement on the menu...the menu changed at the last minute and our daughter and all of her friends were not only served later, but something different. We paid the full price and the outcome made our stay unwelcome. Even afterwards, the businessman wanted more money. Unreal, because the place is beautiful and the rooms are nice (a bit smelling like mildew, but typical for the coastal rentals in the area). Not a great way to treat people and bad for long-term business.

Great place. Perfect if you are travelling with your dog. The houses are in very good conditions and the installations of the hotel are also perfect for the estancy. It is near the beach and near a forest reserve. The personal of the hotel is very nice and the price is also ok. I am looking forward to come next summer again!!

Great place for a base to visit Tuscany. Very spacious rooms, nice apartments, very clean! We had all kitchenware in apartment. Very good place for jogging. 2km from shop. I didn't like beaches with lots of wooden shacks. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave some great tips for good dinners and visiting.

Really nice place to stay. We really enjoyed it with my family. There is also really nice pool you can spend some time. Beside this owner also organise 3x per week dinners f.e. Italian style, Brasilien style etc. ...

This is a great option for a holiday. We liked everything - the nature, the sea and the beaches of Tirrenia and, of course, friendly hotelkeepers. The farm area and the apartment are very clean and comfortable.

The word ‘country ‘is key here .It is situated 2km along a road that is a pleasant walk but nonetheless it was 4.5k round walk to the nearest basic shop. At the bottom of the road there is access to a large beach and various shops. I think you would be restricted with no use of a car. On site are a collection of holiday homes that are basic but comfy and have all you need .There is lots of outdoor space and very safe for young children.Small animals such as goats,donkeys to look at . Older children would be very bored Nice pool area and snack bar which isn’t open all the time. The owners are friendly. It wasn’t peak season when we were there and felt things were a bit tired .Paths needed weeding ,things needed painting etc. If you want a country retreat with no fuss or frills and a good base to expire with access to Pisa which is about 25 mins away,this is it . …

Absolutely awesome place!! We were invited to stay for 3 days during a break from touring Europe. Quiet, clean, tidy, well maintained, great wifi, outdoor swimming pool, bar restaurant and AMAZING HOSTS!! Perfect for couples, families and groups. This will not disappoint. Close to Livorno and the harbour. Driving from Rome around 3 Hours, 30 Mins to Pisa. Filippo & Luca we thank you!!

Booked it last minute during our roadtrip since it was close to the Moby ferrys that would take us to Sardinia. Stayed only one night but absolutely loved the place. It was calm, open, relaxing and had a pool. Staff was very friendly and appartments super nice and big. I would definately book it again if ever in the area.

The best hotels I have been in Italy. We booked a Cottage for 4 people and the place was quite new, clean, organized and with all facilities to a family stay. Sports field, big swimming pool, bar/restaurant. Beautiful landscape, not far from the beach and with a lot of restaurant options nearby. Friendly people.

This is a farm resort. Here is a lot of typical Tuscanian trees and a several cottages and other buildings with apartments. Two brothers: Filippo and Luca, the owners of this resort they are very friendly and helpful, thank guys! Whole resort is very tidy, the grass is trimmed, swimming pool is clean, sunbeds at the pool are in good condition, part of them pretty new. Each cottage and each apartment has dedicated garden furniture (a table with chairs). Entire resort is surrounded by fence. My cottage was quite good equipped. There is a bedroom and living room with kitchen corner. In the bedroom is one wardrobe and queen size bed and TV. In the living room you'll find one bed for 2 people, a table with chairs. Both rooms have air conditioning (extra payable). At the kitchen corner is induction cooktop, a kettle, a big refrigerator, some pots, the cutlery, the plates and the glasses. At the day of your arrival you can expect welcome drink in the bar as well you will be given a bottle of wine and some products for your first breakfast. What to improve: 1. better Wi-Fi is really needed, should be available in the cottages (not only at some places). 2. the white grit at the parking place should be removed (my car was awfully dirty inside and outside after 11 days staying on this grit) 3. in the restaurant each day might be offered dinners instead of only few dinner-events (quite expensive). 4. guest who takes something from the bar should sign the receipt to avoid mistakes at the moment of payment. Generally I recommend La Fattoria di Tirrenia. This is a safe place, very convenient for family with kids. It is well prepared and well maintained farm resort. It is placed approx. 2 km from the beach with white sand. Unfortunately the route to the sea and to city goes through a field and forest (no lights at night). The nearest cities: Tirrenia and Calambrone are not interesting and are polluted, but from here is only 20 minutes to Pisa, and not far away to Florence.…
