The luxury experience starts from the moment you get off the plane. Guests are picked up in a luxury black car and arrive to the resort with their drink of choice waiting for you. That is just the start. The staff is beyond friendly and will remember your name. And the food is delicious with lots of healthy vegetarian options. The staff goes above and beyond and made custom dishes for us during our stay.

Grand Residences was sincerely one of my favorite places I have stayed at! It's no wonder they are part of the Leading Hotels of The World! From the moment they pick you up in your own personal black SUV with wifi in it, to arriving with a drink of your choice ready for you as you check in, to the massive bedrooms and suites with kitchens or kitchenettes, to the onsite actives for adults and kids, to the stunning views, and delicious food. My favorite was that all of the employees knew me by name, and had not even met me! Now that is over the top full luxurious package!! All inclusive hotels are the best because you pay one price and don't have to stress about bringing your wallet everywhere or going over budget. What is amazing about this resort is you can reserve the Master Suite which sleeps about 5 people, maybe more. It has a full kitchen, washer machine, and 3 Murphy beds! It's the perfect place for families and small group trips! Plus, traveling during a global pandemic can make someone feel worried, but every have an over the top clean property, they space out all of the lounge chairs, all the employees wear masks, and there is a COVID testing room on site! It's worth staying at the Grand Residences not just for its all inclusive experience, but for the warm smiles and relaxing amenities! 10/10 you'll love it here!!

This was our third visit at the gorgeous Grand Residences property and our favorite things about the place have not changed a bit. The buildings, property and rooms are truly some of the nicest we’ve seen anywhere with beautiful decorations and finishes everywhere. The entire resort is actually very small, which we love as it makes us feel safe to let our kids walk from the pool back to the room or be in the main pool while we are in the adult pool. Another thing we love is how easy it is to arrive - a luxury vehicle met us at the airport exit and within 30 minutes we were all checked in. As far as food - we’d rate it a 7 or 8 out of 10. Breakfast was delicious each day as were the poolside drinks and snacks. Dinner has never been amazing and having one restaurant closed this time really made the experience even less exciting. The offerings from the Mexican menu were our favorite. The BBQ night and Italian night were less interesting/tasty. There are two things that we really did not like during this last trip. First, the mosquitoes were terrible. We all got several bites - two of our kids got over 10 - with bug spray on. There were mosquitoes in the room as well as on the paths to the restaurant and to the beach. We are sensitive to mosquito bites and are pretty diligent with bug spray, but we still were eaten up. Second, the resort advertises concierge service. Our assigned concierge emailed us a few weeks before the trip to get our flight details and a few days before the trip to answer any questions. He also helped make our restaurant reservations via email. That was the last we heard from him. He never introduced himself while we were at the resort nor did he reach out to check on us. This was a disappointment. Especially since we convinced my brother and his family to join us on this vacation and this was their first visit. When I inquired about this, the concierge said they were busy and then used some expected covid excuse. I may have believed the excuse if it wasn’t for other concierges walking around the property meeting other families. At the end of the day, it is very evident that the “concierge” is more of a “personal time-share sales representative” and since we had expressed our lack of interest in previous visits, they just didn’t want to waste their time this time around. Overall, we enjoyed our visit like we always have and we would probably come back.

This whole area is a jungle; we have a daily fumigation protocol in rooms and hotel areas. It is also essential to know the insects are found anywhere in this part of Mexico, such as on the beach, gardens, cenotes, etc. Our cleaning protocols at Grand Residences are rigorous and more so with COVID. We also have a complete fumigation schedule. We offer a sincere apology for the absence of your concierge. You have an assigned concierge to attend to all your needs, from information on activities to reservations in our restaurants. We will share this information with our Guest Relations Manager and take the necessary actions to ensure that all our guests can enjoy to the fullest the services created to produce memorable experiences. I recently became. member at the Grand Residences. It is a small, lovely resort with a boutique feel. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. and the grounds are lovely. Activities and even live entertainment are provided throughout the week. All-inclusive meal plans are offered though the rooms are condo style with fully stocked kitchens and large dining areas. This resort is located near the village of Puerto Morales, about half way between Cancun and Playa del Carmen . If you want to go to either one of these places, round trip fare could be about 100 US dollars for 4 people. There are restaurants also in the nearby village as well as a large very well stocked grocery store. Renting a car or hiring a driver for the week would be a great idea in this relatively isolated location. I enjoy the laid back feel of the place, . Its not a good choice for the young who are looking for a continuous party. I wanted a place to relax and be pampered by the friendly, accommodating and professional staff. This is it indeed.

My husband and I recently had a pedicure by Ana and a Swedish message by Monica. Ana was wonderful and took great care in soaking, scrubbing and messaging his feet as well as messaged his hands too. He never had one before and really liked it. I had a Swedish message for the first time and Monica was absolutely wonderful. I not only felt very comfortable with her, but it was the most relaxing experience. I loved how you choose from several scents for them to use on you for your message. From the room temperature, the feeling of the sheets, the music to the actual message, it was the best way to end the vacation. We highly recommend Ana and Monica at The Spa for your pedicure and messages!
