Misleading photographs online and Very poor hospitality by the staff. We saw their website and booked for the safari tent for 2 of us for Sunday with advance payment. But when we reached the home stay at 12pm, they showed us a garden tent and said that the safari tent was not available till 6pm. When we asked for a room for 2 ppl, they showed us a big dormitory and said that's all was available. But on the phone the manager said there were rooms for couple available. The safari tent that they showed on site was totally different from the photo that he sent us on whatsapp. The rates that they mention on their website is different from what they charge on site. Rs 2900 for dormitory rooms was expensive. Also we asked for breakfast since we left home at 6am had travelled for 4-5 hours. All they gave us was some cold idli with chutney. They told us that lunch would take one and half hours time. No snacks was provided. Sakleshpura, beeing a place famous for coffee and also the resort boasts of having coffee estate nearby but they gave us coffee in a small Rs 10 paper cups which was horrible, like hot water. The food was poor. The cycles kept there were also in poor condition. The seats of some were broken and all cycles were of the same height . Not suitable for short people. They have mentioned trekking activity but there was no such trek arranged by the resort. When we asked the staff, they some local autos come in the morning and we can go by autos for a tour of coffee estates nearby by paying extra to them. This resort is around 25km from sakleshpura bus stand. Travelling to other sight seeing places like bisle view point , manjarabad fort, waterfalls, etc takes a very long time . In summary, I do not recommend this place to anybody. Please don't waste your time and money here. Luckily we found an auto rickshaw driver who was very helpful and took us for sightseeing for 2 days and also showed some good restaurants to eat. In sharing his contact details here for people who want to go to sakleshpura. He will guide you properly without charging huge amount. Vadivel autodriver - 9591275109…

On all basic parameters like service, hygeine / cleanliness, customer service, location, food - my personal rating would be ‘terrible’. Stayed there with family and we were given a tent (with some fancy name). While we understand frugal or basic, this was quite bad. There were lot of small tents and one big tent with 6 beds. Big one was given to us and other tents were occupied by some teenager group who were rightfully having fun with loud music etc., which is perfectly ok and we have no complaints against them. . But the property guys should not have let out the tent to us knowing that we are a family with small kids. Plus, there were some 4 toilets common for all the 20 plus tents put together. We did manage to block one for us after complaining. Anyway on reaching out to the Manager, we were offered a dormitory accommodation surprisingly with cost escalation. Quite surprising that a dorm would cost more than a tent and since we had no option we took it. Food was really bad. Afternoon food was recycled into different stuff and served for dinner. Probably they get free salt and primary taste of food was salt. Hygiene is another let down. From toilet to serving coffee /tea/ water in paper cups, it was a non starter. Anyway- it is partially my mistake also as I had not gone through past reviews for this property in this same site which talks about most of these things Staff was also weird. customer services was the last thing in their mind. Overall it was a complete disaster. We could play some TT and carrom - thats the only fun we had. If you are family, please stay away from this property. Maybe suitable for bachelor parties kind of stuff. From site seeing perspective also, there is nothing nearby except some fort. The waterfall is almost an hour plus drive.…
