We stayed here for my wedding/holiday in Cyprus . With 20+ guests including children. On a whole it’s a good hotel, everything we needed as a couple. Bed and breakfast fine. However, not sure suitable for family. Advertised kids club/ this wasn’t open. Quiet pool area. On arrival as it was our wedding holiday/mini moon all in one we asked for an upgrade (prepared to pay). We were told no rooms available. However, my nan and grandad were given a room that wasn’t cleaned (told this could only be sorted in the morning as it was a late flight!) . The following morning my 91 year old grandad was offered a free upgrade! They declined as couldn’t get around easily so 6th floor wasn’t an option. They were then offered full board upgrade free of charge, brilliant we thought until they were questioned every day of there holiday why they were using the lunch!! Should of been given a wristband of all inclusive to save hassle of being questioned why they were there. This is also the only hotel I’ve ever stayed in not to even compliment a birthday or wedding. It was my husbands 30th and our wedding. We couldn’t even get an upgrade that we wanted to pay for, but also this was a kick in the teeth as we paid extra for a superior side sea view only for other guests who paid less to get the same room. So made it less special for us on our wedding holiday. Lifts are a nightmare, fine for us as we can get around but others spent ages getting lifts from the higher floors. Although we made it a great holiday, there were points as you can see that let it down. I don’t think we will stay here again as saw our other wedding guests in other hotels that offered more for families/more going on round the pool. Felt a bit of false advertisement as we tried to choose a hotel to accommodate all. Covid or not we should be aware of what is open and what is not when paying good money for stuff. Cocktail bar was shut which was a shame as this was on the terrace that would of made for a good night to drink. Very limited entertainment which again is a shame when it’s a 40 minute walk into paphos.

Aquamare Beach Hotel & Spa Hilde Belgium We have been there in mid-September the weather was fantastic. It is not a large but also not a small-scale hotel. It was recommended to us by the travel agency in our city, and they spoke highly of it, so we booked it. You can choose between the breakfast, half board or all-in formula. When we got here we were actually a bit disappointed , but this passed quickly . We received a very friendly welcome at the reception, and were allocated a room that actually met the standards we had requested. The room was not super big but not too small and everything was available, it is cleaned daily. The view of the sea was phenomenal. The bathroom was quite ok, clean towels every day, the bedroom also the beds are very good and everything that was in the photos in the brochure was also present, including small fridge and safe completely free of charge, you don't have to do too many stairs, there are plenty of alevators The lobby, bar and dinner restaurant are on the ground floor, as is the swimming pool where you can get fresh bath towels every day. The beach, the Beach bar and also the breakfast and lunch restaurant are located one floor below where the swimming pool and the beach bar are located everywhere there are sunbathing areas right on the beach, the beach is not large It is a small sandy beach with a pontoon in it sea ,because in front there is a part where there are rocks. also there sunbeds are available for free. Everything is close together, immediately next to the pool you come to the breakfast and lunch restaurant with open terrace, where it is very nice to stay. It is a relatively small buffet   well varied, you certainly don't eat the same thing every day. There is a large gym, an indoor swimming pool and a wellness & Spa, a shop and a hairdresser. There are toilets everywhere downstairs and they are cleaned at least 3 times a day. In the Beach bar you can eat a snack and drink a cocktail, with soft music really chilling out. One floor up In the lobby there is a very nice bar where you can pick up snacks until 12 o'clock in the morning. On this floor is also the dinner restaurant with very pleasant staff and again plenty of choice. They do everything here to make you feel comfortable. This is a 4 star hotel and it is worthy of it. It is located at the end of a long promenade of about 3 km. It is therefore very quiet here, no noisy situations. Via this promenade you can walk to the city at the harbor with its many shops and bars, or you can take the bus that stops 50 m from the hotel. There are large shopping centers here, but also many places of interest. We were not bored for a minute. We had a beautiful view of the sea, in short, we had a very nice holiday. The weather is wonderful, it is recommended. We can only say that we will come back here . I would certainly like to thank the whole staff , of the hotel, Mister Pierre the manager ,and Mister Aristos ,for all the effort and effort they put in to make the customers happy and have a carefree holiday.Even in COVID times, the staff is fully tested and vaccinated . The hotel was extremely clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was a good enough size with table and chairs inside and another set on the balcony. Bed was comfy. Food in all the restaurants was superb. Downside was the number of stairs when using the outside bar or beach walking in the evening. Some of our group have limited mobility and not everywhere was accessible on the flat. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone with severe mobility issues or a wheelchair.

Fantastic Holiday..we spent 12 nights here as our original Hotel was closed..so glad we picked here..There are plenty of sun beds and the pool was great ..food was very good we only chose B& B we were in room 331 which had a great sea view and wasn't noisy from other guests at all..the little ginger cat in the outside restaurant area was very hungry in the mornings ( did my best feed him up a bit ) and the grey and white cat ( like my cat Eric) was a little love who enjoyed the ham I gave him greatly ..the only slight negative was you couldn't get into the sea from the Hotel as its slippy rocks we used sea access next Hotel over..it would be great to have a jetty going out over the rocks..the grass was quite long around the sun beds and in the morning was very wet but other than that it was perfect..The reception staff went the extra mile printing off our covid test papers we were really impressed with them they were awesome because I didn't have a clue...many brilliant restaurants around just up the road to the left really impressed with the quality we didn't have one bad meal in 12 days....Well Done Aquamare Hotel you were fantastic and we would definitely recommend you to everyone..Thankyou

We arrived on the 19th of September. We were booked in quickly and asked to fill in a short booking form where we mentioned it was our honeymoon. We made our way to our room on the 3rd floor and found a lovely room with side sea view as promised when booking. We had a free safe and a mini fridge with some water, 2 beers and a carton of juice. The room was smallish but clean with plenty of storage. Only downside was it had 2 single beds and we were disappointed with this as it was our honeymoon after all and we did mention to jet 2 when booking it was our honeymoon so we kind of expected we would get a double bed. We thought the food throughout our stay was lovely. Normally for an all inclusive the food is repetitive and sometimes quite oily but there is a great selection. The fish and oriental theme nights were particularly good. The swimming pool is a great size and there is more than enough sunbeds. Only downside for us was the sunbeds were on grassy areas and not on the paving around the pool but there is loads of room to relax pretty much anywhere we liked to sit. There wasn't any animation team or poolside games though we we were disappointed by even tho the jet 2 app said there would be some. Neither was there any TV screens in the beach bar showing any live sport as we also read on the jet 2 app. We were told by a member of staff that the beach bar was being refurbished shortly with screens being fitted so that will be good. The beach bar itself is nice. You can get food served between 3pm and 5pm on the all inclusive and it also caters for any non residents and other guests for food and drink. Evening entertainment was very sporadic to be fair. There was a singer and a guitarist playing at the beach bar 3 times a week but apart from that nothing. The hotel staff were lovely and very friendly. The girls on the reception printed out our negative covid certs and our UK locator forms after I emailed them across. Special mentions go to to Stan the waiter and I can't not mention the lovely Marina who not only worked in the restaurant at breakfast but also worked at the beach bar during the day. Also thanks to the evening staff at the beach bar who were very friendly and also brought us a bottle of champagne to celebrate our last night of our honeymoon. Overall this hotel is lovely especially if you like a very chilled out atmosphere. We can't comment on the spa as we never used it. Personally we would like a bit more evening entertainment and definitely some poolside games but it's certainly a hotel we would visit again and will recommend to others. Paul and Kathryn 19th - 29th Sept 2021
