Owners Jean and Ewan run a five star establishment, always spotlessly clean, beautiful rooms. Very friendly hosts. In a beautiful location , so peaceful , great vista. Within walking distance for trains shops and restaurants. We will certainly return again.

This is the 2nd time we’ve visited Dunblane and the Ciar Mhor it’s such a beautiful setting with the river at the back of the property. Totally amazing breakfast with a plate of extra bacon and sausage, tomatoes and mushrooms really tasty.

We stayed here for one night on our way up to the Highlands from Suffolk. It is a beautiful house in an outstanding location and only a few minutes walk along the river to Dunblane town centre. The owners are charming and made us feel most welcome. Our en suite room was perfect. Breakfast was cooked to order and was very tasty.

I have taken customers in my taxi to Ciar Mhor many times and they all say it's a lovely B & B and I have never heard anyone with a complaint. Great views from Ciar Mhor and a lovely walk to The centre of Dunblane but I would recommend a taxi back at night.

I planned to stay for two nights and stayed 14. I could not have been made more welcome. The place is immaculately maintained; the breakfasts are a talking point for the rest of each day. The setting is just superb. Ciar Mhor enjoys a very quiet tranquil riverside location which is within walking distance of both the historic town centre and rail station which has excellent connections. Jean and Ewan are just the very bests of hosts. Cia Mhor is a perfect location from which to launch from in pursuit of regional activities and City visits (Glasgow, Sterling, Edinburgh, Perth.).
