A 3 star hotel situated by the river out of the town of Foix, but the bus into town is just a short walk away, and costs only 1€. There is a car park for guests if you decide to drive. Half board in comfortable rooms is a good option as it comes with great dinner choices on the menu. The rooms have TV (only French channels) and basic tea/coffee making facilities with no fridge. Some rooms have good views of the lake, and others have a balcony or outside sitting area. Air conditioned. Free and good secure WiFi connection. Helpful and friendly reception staff who also double up as waiters in the evening.

Lovely hotel. The room is not huge but big enough. Staff are very friendly and speak English and French. The food in the restaurant is good. The restaurant is cosy and has a log fire going in the evening at dinner time.
I enjoyed staying here and would recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in this small town. 🇫🇷

A great value/quality proposition. Independently owned, which gives it character. Lovely spot close to town but also easy access to major road. Calm atmosphere, quiet. Spotlessly clean room, well appointed, great shower and good breakfast, and good resto on site.

We and another couple booked in here as abase for exploring Foix and its surrounding area. Whilst the hotel may not look much upon arrival, the welcome is friendly and the rooms comfortable. The restaurant is the highlight though - offering a small but varied menu, which changed slightly each night and accompanying wines were also good. We had planned to try different restaurants in Foix, but after the first evening were happy to stay at the hotel to eat on the terrace overlooking the lake.

"Overbooked" apparently. Absolutely atrocious way to treat customers 2 months after booking. What more can I say. Don't believe a word of it. I expect their prices have gone up so have binned us for a more lucrative deal. Avoid any uncertainty and book elsewhere

Nice hôtel next to the river. Upon arrival there was a very strong odeur of a febreeze type of product in reception which was nauseating.
The view from our room was lovely with a big balcony, table and chairs.
The bathroom was extremely small and impossible to sit properly on the toilet. You have to sit sideways as the wall and towel heater is right infront. The room was very clean with a comfy bed.
We got back one day to find the cleaner had left our door unlocked. She did mention this to us when we were walking to our room, but what was to stop someone else going in our room...
There was a bit of noise coming in from the hallways as the floors are tiled, but no big issue.
The restaurant was fabulous. Ate here on both nights and thoroughly enjoyed all courses. All the staff were lovely, in the restaurant and at reception.

Stayed for 4 nights on business with colleagues . Rooms seemed to vary but I had a basic room which was fine. The hotel is right on the water and my room got a bit of a view. Bathroom was ok with a couple of sachets of shower gel and some soap, next time I may bring some! We did eat in the hotel on a couple of nights but as there were quite a few of us we did overwhelm the restaurant.

What a lovely place, Unimposing from the outside, but beautiful modern rooms inside.
Owners were extremely accommodating and friendly and spoke perfect English.
The hotel overlooks a river (rather than a lake) which was teaming with birds and ducks and from the room we could watch the rabbits playing on the grass.
Didn't try the restaurant, but it looked very inviting and the prices were reasonable.
It does say on this site that breakfast is included . . it is NOT (They have asked TA to remove this information many times)
Good wifi in rooms. Free secure parking.
Would certainly recommend this hotel.

We had 2 rooms booked here with AC that worked decently, which was important to us.Staff was able to accomodate our poor French attempts and communicate somewhat in English. The parking was safe and conveniently situated in a lot beside the hotel. The rooms were clean.
The lake seemed more of a river with a bank for boating but not swimming.
The restaurant staff did not really want to bother with us. They seemed irritated at our imperfect French? We started with one waitress and another took over but either they were just in the weeds or they purposely procrastinated our service? I would not eat here again.
