We stayed with Sonia in her beautiful B&B en route to Andorra & Spain on a road trip through France, Andorra & Spain.
The weather was terrible but the welcome warm and welcoming. Our suite was so lovely and comfortable. Breakfast was fabulous: fabulous bread we have never tasted anything like it before was just awesome.
Sadly we only stayed 1 night but would have loved to have stayed longer.
Highly Recommended excellent!!!!!!

Highly recommend L'Arche des Chapeliers. It's a charming and quaint B&B located in the old town section of Foix. Beautiful views of the castle, mountains & the town of Foix. Sonia is a delightful and pleasant host. All resturants are within easy walking distance.

My wife and I stayed here overnight while driving to Spain. It's located in the old narrow streets perfect for choosing one of the many restaurants surrounding it. There only appeared to be two rooms available. Ours was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was fabulous and included home made breads and jams. Our hostess was very friendly and helpful.
Parking is in a public car park a short walk away and not expensive.
Highly recommended.

Our room was very large and cosy, absolutely clean, and full of lovely details. Breakfast was outstanding. The owner is a lovely lady who did her best to make our stay a memorable one. This hotel is really worth your money, up to the last penny!!!! There is plenty of free car parking near the structure and the castle is at about 100 yards!!! Lots of lovely restaurants and shops in the area as well!!!

I had the very good fortune to find a room - an expansive suite really - at L'Arche des Chapeliers when a booked holiday rental failed to leave a key or answer the door. For a very reasonable price, I was welcomed to a suite on two levels, with a reach-out-and-touch-it view of the Chateau de Foix (or its base, at least) on th lower level, and a fine view overlooking the old village on the upper level. Everything had been thought of and everything was immaculate - down to the pressed linen sheets! In the morning, a wonderful breakfast. Highly recommended.

We stayed here after the last leg of the Sentier Cathare. Owner Sonia has created an attractive comfortable and interestinmg home with books and displays about local history and especially the Cathars. She is very knowledgeable about these. We had a comfortable and peaceful stay and enjoyed visiting Foix.

We arrived in foix down it's quaint winding streets at the L'Arche des Chapeliers BandB it has stunning views of the Chateau, but essentially it was 5 storey house with 2 rooms on every level. The room whilst not uncomfortable was cramped with a shower enclosure that had half a door and a curtain with a red hot or freezing shower. Breakfast was good with plenty to eat, we shared breakfast with a French couple so there was little scope for small talk ! It was ok Foix itself was small and seems to shut at 6pm perhaps it's more lively away from the old town ?

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in L'Arche des Chapeliers. Our hostess Sonia is a charming lady who obviously takes great pride in her beautiful home; it is spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated with care. it is well located in the cent of Foix, though a little difficult to find. I would recommend L'Arche des Chapeliers to anyone who is looking for unique accomodation and who doesn't mind climbing a few stairs, but it is well worth the effort!

Room Tip: The room at the top of the house, Esclanade I think, has amazing views and a beautiful mezzanine.

The welcome is very warm, the location is ideal, at the foot of the castle, full heart of the old town. The room is duplex with a view of the castle and its bedrock on one side and the other on a wide panorama. It is very nice, nicely decorated and quiet. Breakfast is served in a small dining room around a large friendly table. Everything is perfect.
