Glendale holiday park is a great place if you want to relax. So quiet and peaceful, with many walks around if you want to explore and great if you have pets. Overall, we had a great stay and will be returning. One thing I will say is, the cleanliness of the caravan could’ve been slightly better, all the dishes were still slightly dirty (not really a problem as such as would always wash before use anyways but not very nice) and there was previous guests socks still lying around. There was a dustpan under the sink but no brush. The leisure suite was great, it has a pool, hot tub and sauna which we went to both mornings, and was very clean. Siobhan was lovely, told us to help ourself to coffees etc in the laundrette next door and always took the time to speak to us and gave us suggestions of walks nearby to take our dog. The pub is expensive in my opinion, £9.50 for 2 VK’s took me by surprise, so next time we will opt to take our own to the caravan. We will be back! …

Stayed at Glendale what a lovely place quite ,clean and met some lovely people went swimming had hot tub and sauna Siobhan who runs the swimming is very helpful and even went out her way to open a little bit earlier so the kids could have a swim before we had a christening to attend credit to the company. Would definitely stay at Glendale again

Lovely location, there's a beautiful road leading up to the place with a great view. The caravans are spacious and have alot of storage space. We came as a large group of 20 people and had booked 3 caravans. The reception was very lovely and even moved our caravans around so that we could all be closer to each other! They have a onside shop, pub, pool and sauna. Didn't try much of that as we had a packed schedule but looked lovely. On top of all this once we arrived home (2 hours away) I realised I left my purse in the caravan. The staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make sure I got my purse back safe and sound. So a special shout out to Sammi, Shannon and Lilly 😊

We had a wonderful week at Glendale. The staff was great, the caravan was super clean and the location was far enough away that we felt we were ‘getting away’ but we were also easily able to get to the Lake District and other areas. The pool was a great perk too. We loved it.

Glendale Glendale Upon entering Glendale holiday park which we had booked well in advance, my family and friends and I expected a nice relaxing break, I can assure you that was off to a terrible start. These pictures are only a snippet of what we perceive as being a disgusting impression on where we would be staying for the next 4 days. Immediately we informed a member of the reception that the caravan was unsuitable and in a terrible state with other peoples dirt and leftover food mashed everywhere. The food leftover was an instant early sign that this caravan was not maintained and cleaned upon our arrival. As mentioned in the first photo we did inform a member of the reception instantly about the food mashed into carpets, the oven and the sofas! So we were informed that there was no one here to clean up our caravan and we were just given fresh sheets to change for the first night due to them also being very dirty with bugs amongst. The morning after arriving we were greeted by a younger woman member of staff who seemed to be confused about how the caravan was dirty, so we just decided to use the equipment that she had brought in ourselves, to be honest this was easier for us because we would’ve had to move all of our belongings out as quite simply, the whole caravan was simply not cleaned before we arrived. I feel that even though it was easier for us to do it ourselves we shouldn’t have to be doing it before feeling comfortable to even sit down anywhere. Now as you can see by my profile I haven’t ever done one of these reviews because I’ve never experienced something this low, this service was atrocious, no communication and expected to be happy to live, sleep and eat in someone else’s mess is unacceptable. …

We are very sorry to hear about your stay with us at Glendale holiday, when your reported this to management I arranged to get this cleaned straight away for you,unfortunately sometimes bits can be missed. I dropped all fresh bedding if to you,and arranged for. A cleaner to come into to give it a clean,which the oven was only reported to us and the linen. We all left very happy, so I do hope you do look into coming to stay with us gain in the near future.

Excellent caravan park, lovely bar, playground and facilities. The van was beautiful and very clean. The staff went above and beyond. On arrival our daughter received a goody bag and a wonderful warm welcome. We forgot our hairdryer and the manager personally offered hers and dropped off at the van. The entertainment host was excellent and loved his family game show which was very inclusive. You will have an excellent stay and will book againA**

So we had stayed and another caravan park that gave us a 15% discount if we booked to go to one off there other sites or back to the one we were at, So we thought we would just book another site as that one was 5 hours away from us and the Glendales was only going to be like an hour n a half away, so called them up to make our booking for sep weekend and Sami the manager was dealing with me she was very nice on the phone etc and then came to the deposit off £30 and it said it had failed so we tried again and she said it had failed again, I checked my bank and £60 in total and been tain out and was in my pendings so I called them back after it had came off and went bk to my bank, we tried it again and the same happened, I was so mad 😡 that This was happening so Sami had said look am really sorry about this I will give you a discount next time we try to get this done so I said that was fine and she was calling me back on Tuesday to get this sorted, It’s now Friday the 11th Aug 2023. And guess what, I am still waiting for her call to get the place booked I’m so very disappointed at the lack off communication from this lady it’s been terrible customer service from start to finish, And to be the manager off the park aswell and treat your paying customers this way is totally unacceptable!!!!! We had a lovely family stay at Glendale , kids enjoyed the entertainment , food was good , staff were lovely and friendly.lots to visit nearby.. Just a pity the weather wasn’t the best but we will definitely be back.
