Bridget was lovely and very welcoming. The room was ok if slightly basic with no TV. Great location with a big private car park. Breakfast was nice with a big pot of tea! Close to the local pub (50 yds away) which serves great food...More

Situated on the main street, next to a great pub, this is a nice place to stay. Very friendly owners and a good breakfast. The shower had good hot water. Bridget was very helpful both before we arrived and during our stay,.

From the house it is just 10-minutes walk to Doolin Pier for boat trips to the Aran More Islands, 10-minutes drive to the Cliffs of Moher, which can also be reached on foot (1½ hours walk) and 15-minutes drive to the wonderland of the Burren, a walker's paradise. Our house is an ideal base for scenic walks along the Doolin coast. From Doolin Pier you can enjoy beautiful sunsets and a view of the Aran Islands. I don't know that I can answer this officially - - we visited in June and it was cool enough each night that we wouldn't have wanted A/C. Their average August temperature is 65-70 degrees via internet records... More
