This is charming, comfortable, beautiful, and welcoming! I wish we could stay forever! We loved th fireplace and view of the garden from our room. The jacuzzi tub was relaxing. Antiques throughout felt homey and luxurious.
So much to say but few words can explain just how impressed we were from the moment of our late arrival where we greeted warmly and helped to settle in by Ronan.

The hotel itself was a bit shabby chic and needs some updating. The room was a bit dusty but the owners welcomed everyone and ran the place with a great sense of humour. The afternoon tea and free prosecco made up for its foibles.

Hi Rachel, yes they are and the hotel extremely helpful in pointing out the lovely walks in the area. Then you can retire to the hotel for lovely tea and scones or even a glass of wine.Highly reccomnend.😀Breda

I’m not sure if your comment was meant in response to my review of Abbeyglen Castle or perhaps someone else’s review. I happen to have loved my stay at Abbeyglen Castle. While I have on occasion stayed in American chain hotels, I have traveled extensively in Ireland over three decades and would chose Abbeyglen Castle or other similar Irish hotels every time.
