We booked for Sunday lunch as a party of six. Lovely setting beside the River Bann but that was the only plus point. None of the waiting staff had any manners, the menu lacked detail and the food was average at best. Disappointed and expected so much more. So many alternatives to choose from so don’t waste your money or time here.

We booked the kayaks for an hour and had a great time on the Bann. The equipment was in good condition and the views were exceptional. The river was exceptionally calm and despite the numbers at the facility the river nevet seemed crowded. Rory was enthusiastic and friendly among the great team. Hard work rowing back though!!! Well worth the visit. We'll be back

Absolute hole. Isnt it a pity you get crap management and staff in a picturesque part of the world. Glorified chippy is my view. Unhelpful staff to say the least. ( dont stop, go straight to the port. Nicer people and a warm welcome awaits)....

If you haven't tried this place dont bother. 6 of us went for sunday lunch. First we ordered starters not bad. Main course 2 ordered roast beef they had run out . Myself and my partner ordered rump of lamb with beetroot and black pudding we got lamb no black pud or beetroot when I asked where it was I was told it was incorporated in the gravy. Now Gordon Ramsey I'm not but even an amateur cook like me knows the taste of plain old gravy. I complained and was offered some drinks or free desserts. We opted for desserts we ordered apple crumble and custard we got a small soggy pastry case with a bit of apple and a scoop of cheap ice cream I again asked the head waiter where our custard was he went into the kitchen and came out with 1 bowl of cold tinned custard between 3. Very disappointed to say the least will never be back.

Stayed at the Crannagh for a week with my wife and 3 kids. Exceptionally clean, spacious and well maintained. Eamonn and the team there couldn’t be more helpful. A great base for touring around and visiting all the nearby attractions- would highly recommend.

Our first outing since lockdown and so a little uneasy about social distancing etc. We need not have worried. The Cranagh has a track and trace set up and checked everyone’s temperature on arrival and took a photo and contact phone number details for ALL customers or at least one of the group. Impressed with all of the measures in place to protect us customers. And the food as always was very tasty and reasonably priced. Coffee delicious by the way!

We stayed at the Crannagh Complex for 2 nights, there were 4 adults and 3 children, whilst we had our own motorhome with us, half of us stayed in a static caravan on site. It had spacious lounge area with fully fitted kitchen if required, WiFi was available and there was a smart TV with Netflix etc. There was ample parking and children were able to play outside safely on the green. There were various outside water activities on going but we did not avail of these, we were advised by guests in the neighbouring lodge that they were excellent. Portstewart and Portrush are close by and there is a Tesco's about 3 miles away. The owners Eamonn and Seamus were so helpful and nothing was a bother to them. Even before we arrived Eamonn was extremely pleasant to deal with on the phone and went the extra mile to offer us more spacious accommodation a couple of hours before we arrived .We ate one evening at the on site restaurant and food was delightful. All and all we had a lovely experience and we will definitely be back. We would thoroughly recommend this hidden gemstone.
