Booked late as a last minute trip. Nice hotel in good location, plenty of parking, bit far to walk to portrush on an evening. Staff friendly. Breakfast was nice but the dog barking during breakfast was quite annoying.. Glad it wasn't staying in a room near us! Room was clean, maybe slightly dated and quite warm but practical.

Just after a pleasant stay at this hotel. It wasnt our usual dog friendly hotel we go to but they had availability last minute. The location is beautiful and the sunset is superb. The potential this establishment has is one to watch. It is most certainly dog friendly, even wee treats in the room. Dinner was very nice, my sirloin was cooked as I asked & tender. The waiter was very friendly and give my dogs cuddles. Breakfast was abit hectic and a let down, tables being moved/scraped about, being asked what we wanted but had no menu etc, everything tasted the same, my dogs enjoyed the sausage and bacon. The rooms are basic but have everything you would need. As it stands I see this hotel as somewhere I would stay one night only. Word of mouth is a major part of finding out about a place and we heard a few different guests giving off about a staff member but we didnt have anyone rude the entire stay.

Another fantastic stay at Inn on the coast. The staff are so nice and can never do enough for you. Can’t wait to get back again! Treats in the room for our dog. Dinner was delicious as always. Such a great location as well with great views very close by and lovely walks.

Stayed here recently and from the many good reviews we were looking forward to it however that ended pretty quickly. Our room was upstairs near the rear of building, great views although came at a price. Below us was an area where the kitchen staff/chefs gathered for their break. Must have been every 30 minutes but there was a group of staff and chefs laughing loudly, swearing and smoking. This was very annoying as the room was warm so we wanted to keep our window open but because of the noise of the staff we had to close it. Surely another area for the staff to smoke etc could be selected, not below guests bedrooms? If it was 1 or 2 breaks, we could have dismissed it but again this was constant all evening. Breakfast service was slow, the food itself was cold and not great at all, evening meal underwhelming too, New chefs or staff training would not go a miss. The room was outdated although very clean but again our sleep was disturbed by staff so we would not return. In all we were disappointed which is a shame as the location is great.
