Zannier Bãi San Hô is an award-winning beachfront resort featuring 73 villas (48 with private pools) nestled in a get-away-from-it-all coral reef bay with three unique dining experiences, spa and tailored local excursions. Relaxing or exploring, this is authentic Vietnam, elevated. Located in the Phu Yen province of Vietnam, in the heart of a secluded and preserved 98-hectare natural site facing an impressive one kilometer long white sand beach, its name in Vietnamese translates into “Bay of Corals”, in reference to its untouched coastline and beautiful coral reefs. Surrounded by spectacular hills, lush vegetation and authentic paddy fields, the resort lies away from the mainstream tourist paths.

Bai San Ho is a truly exceptional hotel. It is the best hotel I have ever stayed in, and I have been fortunate enough to have visited several luxury establishments all over the world.
From start to finish, it was impeccable service with a smile from very attentive and well trained staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
The food was very varied at breakfast with something for everyone. One could try quintessential Vietnamese dishes or international dishes to start the day. The restaurant meals and room service were delicious too.
I chose Bai San Ho as a place to celebrate my wife’s 50th birthday, a lady with the highest of standards. She was not disappointed! 🙂
The hotel has been very tastefully designed to reflect traditional Vietnamese architecture using natural materials and the result is to be highly commended. It brings a sense of authenticity to the environment, which we loved. It was particularly inspiring for my two older children, both of whom are architecture students.
The resort offers plenty of activities and excursions and is a peaceful haven away from the hustle and bustle of city life. I snorkelled and tried the e-foiling for the first time with my son. I played tennis with my younger daughter and we had a most wonderful luxury picnic on the beach which we felt we had to ourselves. I guess this was partly due to it not being the busiest time of year.
What really made Bai San Ho stand out for me was the magnificent view we had from our Hill Top Villa. It was a joy to wake up to it every morning and something we will never forget.
Thank you Bai San Ho for your service and for providing us with so many beautiful memories in a Far Eastern paradise.☀️

From the moment we walked in to the hotel, we knew we were somewhere special. The view from the reception, overlooking the bay and the entire resort was breathtaking. However, once we got to our villa (Hill Pool Villa) we realised the view just gets even better . Having travelled across Vietnam for the past 3 years, Zannier is definitely one of the best resorts we have stayed at. The private beach is untouched, with white sand and clear blue water, and the entire resort is blessed with so much natural beauty. The rooms were beautiful and spacious, and the food was great too. One of the restaurants are located on the beach, and it's beautiful at night with the fishing boats and the sound of the waves nearby.

We were travelling with our 2 year old son, and one thing we always look for is a playroom in the hotel. Zannier has a beautiful playroom, which is well stocked with great toys, and even some games for adults.

Finally, to top things off, the staff at Zannier and their service was amazing. Starting with David and Michael, who always checked up on us, the staff made sure all our needs were catered to. They were very friendly and welcoming, and a special mention must be made to Co and Thang who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Although we went in late December, we got very lucky with the weather and were able to spend our days outdoors in the beach and the pool. We can't wait for the borders to open up, so that we can bring our families to Zannier for a holiday one day. We will be back at this amazing hotel for sure!

Just returned from the Zannier Phu Yen-what a delight! My husband and two young sons stayed in the pool villa for three nights and couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. The resort is a showcase of understated elegance utilizing natural, local, and sustainable materials. The staff is attentive, and service is silent yet efficient. Our villa was picture perfect and the ocean view from our villa was breathtaking. We especially appreciated the outdoor shower with both hot and cold water. Breakfast is long and loaded with delicious options. The fact that it goes to 11am is highly appreciated as we like to snorkel and hike beforehand and did not have to rush to make it in time. Kids club was fully stocked with ping pong table, billards, painting, games. Tennis courts were a happy addition to the facilities. If you have time, take the boat ride out at sunset-it was an unforgettable experience to witness the stunning scenery Phu Yen has to offer. Five star stay!

A receptionist greeted and escorted us to the lobby then suddenly assigned a TRAINEE staff to do the check-in procedure while she moved away without supervising or assisting the trainee staff.
The staff informed wrong flight return, room category with benefits. Then upon giving us the room key, she stressed on: "if you lose the key, you would be charged 5 million Vietnam Dong.” From that time until leaving we always take precaution of keeping key in safe.
We know the resort is away from any big city, and for making a specific type of key like this, it would take time and efforts, if one is lost. Still somehow, the way of telling guests at a luxury resort like this should not be this way too seriously. It could be a nicer way of communication and how to express your concern.
We stayed in Hill Pool Villa with breathtaking view of the ocean. Room is unique, beautiful with the infinity pool, good privacy. Many villas are away from the reception/lobby, but how disappointed to find out that butler service is not available.
We were informed that the hotel has some outdoor activities but during our stay, no staff seemed to care to suggest those activities to us.
We laid on beach all day. Some staffs walked past us with smile, said hello then left. There was no interaction with guests, not a single sentence of asking if we need any assistance, any suggestion of excursion, or how our stay was going. Maybe they were too shy?
Breakfast was good with amazing view but the foods came to be exact the same every morning. I believe the chefs should know.
Mr.Dung, the driver was very helpful and friendly. Another F&B staff was very nice as well, she seemed to be the only one to talk with us and checked our satisfaction with foods every time she cleared our table. The hotel manager was not friendly. He didn’t even look or smile even though we had dinner in the same area.
After all, service needs to improve if they want to be successful and well-known and if they want their staffs to find passion in working environment to keep them stay for long. And the first step is staff training.

Xin chào anh Tuan, Thank you very much for sharing your feedback here with us and the TripAdvisor community. I am glad to read that you found the unique design and views from our villas to be breathtaking, and we couldn't agree with you more, our natural setting stretched along the 1km private sandy beach indeed is a unique sight. We have sent the compliments regarding the breakfast to our Kitchen team who was very happy to hear you enjoyed breakfast, as shared with you during your stay we offer a wide range of choices from our buffet as well as our a la carte menu, where we change the variety of some buffet items daily. Nonetheless we appreciate the feedback and will discuss how we could even further increase the spread of breakfast without compromising on the outstanding quality we aim for. We appreciate that Dung and someone from our F&B team was able to provide you with the sense of authentic hospitality that we pride ourselves on. I saddens me to hear however that you feel the rest of the team was not able to convey the discrete, tailored service we aim to provide. I would like to add here that we do not offer traditional butler service, nor advertise this in any form, but instead aim for our Guest Assistants to foster personal connections in line with our service ethos. Through our progressive hospitality, we pursue a long term vision to protect and preserve the identities of ever place we touch. We draw our energy from a local and and diverse range of talent. As part of this training is certainly a key aspect. Our trainees have undergone a lengthy training & induction period before interacting with guests, I deeply regret to hear that on this occasion there were shortcomings. Certainly it saddens me that you perceived me as unfriendly, which definitely is not my nature, I always endeavour to personally interact with guests. I had a chance to strike up a conversation with you during breakfast before your departure to enquire about your stay where you have told me that you enjoyed your stay and have shared your feedback with the team already and I got the chance to elaborate a bit on your concerns. Unfortunately I did not mange to pick up on the rather negative sentiment that you have left with. We value all feedback both good and bad, hence once again thank you very much for sharing your point of view with us here. Please rest assured that we will use this feedback to ameliorate our service and product as a whole in line with our commitment to quality and strive for excellence. We hope to have a chance to welcome you back with us in the future for a chance to showcase our authentic hospitality that apparently was not visible to you during your recent stay. Please contact me directly via rm@baisanho.com so that I can do my utmost to ensure that this time you will have the same outstanding experience that we aim to deliver to all of our guests. Cám ơn và hẹn gặp lại! Michael & the Zannier Hotels Bãi San Hô Family

I have to say that I falled in love with this resort from the firt time I saw it: its architecture, the landscape, the room concept are all very detailed and elegant. The food, the time of breakfast are lovely. Check in early and check out late (not long with free) if the room are available... Most important, the staffs are local residents, well trained and very thoughtful, supportive even with the very small order of us at any time.

We had 18 people, a group of friends stayed here for 2 nights. I decided to book another trip at this resort with my family since 2 nights are not enough and I really really love to come back.

There is only one thing I complain about this trip is the shutlle bus service. The resort stayed in the middle of 2 airports, Qui Nhon and Tuy Hoa provinces, which are both 70 kilometers from the resort and more than 1 hour to commute.

When we arrived, if we would like to take the shuttle bus to the resort, we would have to wait about 2 and half hours at the airport. If not we should rent a bus from resort which cost VND 5 million for 18 people (or much cheaper if rent from a private company with support from resort). Fortunately, the inbound agency supported us a car and we could go to the resort no waiting time and no extra charge. Thank you my lovely inbound agency in this case.

On the check out day, the shuttle bus time was not convenient too. This time we had rent a bus to the airport in order to stay at the resort longer and can enjoy the vibe, instead of waiting in the airport for about 2 hours!

In general, I dont think the current shuttle bus timeline is convenient and comfortable for us since it’s not aligned to most of current departure and take off time flights from Hanoi, Saigon cities to Qui Nhon airport. This shuttle schedule is not even a proper service for a 5-star hotel like Zannier.

I really hope this small issue will be solved in the short time, since I will definitely come back to this resort in 3 weeks from now, so my trip can be completed with great memories.

Xin chao chi Huong, Greetings form Zannier Hotels Bãi San Hô. Thank you very much for sharing your experience here with us and the Tripadvisor community. We actively welcome feedback as we strive to ensure that all of our guests are able to make lasting memories during their stay. We are delighted to read that you enjoyed the Resort, the architecture, the breakfast & the service so much that you have already made plans to return. We also appreciate the feedback in regards to the transportation arrangements to and from the resort. We aim to provide a seamless experience to our guests from the very moment they arrive in the airport. In line with this we are constantly reviewing the procedures and timings of our shuttle bus service in order to try and align the timing with applicable flight schedules, that often are subject to frequent change. We understand however that on certain occasions such as your previous stay we are unable to match specific flight schedules, hence as you have pointed out in your review, we offer a variety of alternatives; From private transfers that we recommend as they are more in line with the service standards we aim to provide, with no waiting times and utmost convenience, to our various transportation partners, in order to accommodate our guest requests. We look forward to welcoming you back with us in April and until then wish you all the best. Michael & the Zannier Hotels Bãi San Hô Family

This is not your usual destination. This is different. This resort is surrounded by countryside as far as you can see. Arriving in the resort the journey begins once the large and solid wooden doors of the entrance close behind you. In front of you are 8+ kilometer of winding roads leading to Hill pool villas on the top to beach front property close to the 1km long beach. In between, rice paddies, nurseries, a Vietnamese F&B outlet, sports facilities, residences and a stylish reception featuring a full scale puffer fish and other interesting artefacts.
If you are a seasoned 5 start resort traveller, a stay in this resort will still be a refreshing and blissful experience. The hardware is solid, high quality and well looked after (just look at the towels or bedlinen). The software - despite the current circumstances - is seasoned, and well aware what they are building up here.

If you are looking for rankings, this resort inhabits one of the finest and (if not the best) cleanest beaches and backlands of Vietnam and that is a feat to be very proud of.

We will be back for more bliss.

One of the weaker sides of high end beach resorts in Vietnam is most does not offer a good range of water activities sports.
At Zannier, however, beside the unique taste of rooms and designs and excellent breakfast choices, we like the sports they offer at the beach. We believe there will be more to offer in the next months as we see a small catamaran there.
The reef is quite fine to the standard of Vietnam ( as in Vietnam there are virtually no reef fish due to over fishing, so we did not expect a beatifful reef with fish like elsewhere).

Xin chào anh Jack, Thank you very much for sharing your experience here with us and the TripAdvisor community. We appreciate the comments in regards to the water sports offer, villas & breakfast choices and are happy to hear you enjoyed your time with us. Indeed the coral reef that inspired our name "Bãi San Hô" is close to our hearts, we will continue to work on preserving and nurturing our reef as we agree it is quite rare in Vietnam to come across such natural underwater beauty. We look forward to welcoming you and your family back with us in the near future and until we meet again wish you all the best. Michael & the Zannier Hotels Bãi San Hô Family

My family just had a lovely 3 nights stay at Zannier hotel Bãi San Hô. It was our first stay at the resort and thus we were quite impressed and statisfied with their staff, services, food, room's design, its landscape and private beach. Here're a few highlights of our pleasant experiences at the resort:
Staff: from front desk, manager, conciege, buggy, restaurant, room service, spa, etc. The people were friendly, attentive, warm, and professional. The manager greeted us several time during our stay for our feedback, experiences, and any needs.
Room: we booked a Paddy field villa, but was upgraded to a Hill pool villa with breathtaking view of the ocean (due to my Diamond Ambassador status with IHG). The room was clean with beautiful design inspired from the Rhade people (Ê Đê). The room lightning is elegantly designed and adequate. The private plunge pool is quite large and water is warm.
Food: breakfast caters both buffet and a la carte styles, the food option is adequate ranging from Western to authentic Vietnamese local dishes, and mostly are delicious.
We also had same good experiences with dinner food here.
However, due to the pandemic, you can only dine at the main restaurant (Nhà Ở) as other restaurants have not yet reopened.
Beach: scenic long strecth of sandy beach, perfect for morning walks. Sea water is crystal clear and calm, ideal for family with small kids (like us).
In general, we really enjoyed our stay at this luxurious beautiful resort, we would recommend anyone to give it a try and experience the wonderful services that it offers. For us, we will definately come back to fully experience other services and activities that we missed from the last stay.

great great place. Would definitely go back. the views, the landscape, and the service is impeccable. Food and beverage is not the best but acceptable.

The location is a bit far from everything so rent a car with driver to go to the town or local fishing village for lunch or dinner for a change would be a good option.

Zennier Hotel is a luxury resort out in the middle nowhere. Despite the private and quaint location, it was not quite my type of resort. It needs more concentration on amenities and maintenance especially when concerning rain water what was able to come through into our room. Only one USED set of flip flops were provided to use to get in and out the room. For a 5 star resort, this seems very cheap and feels nasty having to use flip flops worn by previous guests. They did provide insect repellent spray when asked for it but the attendant was very unprofessional upon check out accusing us of taking it. Seems very silly and unprofessional for over a resort that charges $400 USD per night.
The highlights were that the breakfast was excellent and the restaurant and beach staff were all very nice.
One thing issue we were really concerned about is that the resort is in Việt Nam but instructions / information on the brochure were only written in English. There needs to be in the Native language for Vietnamese guests as well.

Response from Michael Wirz, Other at Zannier Hotels Bai San Ho
Responded 30 Nov 2022
Xin chào chi Jenny, Thank you very much for sharing your experience here with us and the TripAdvisor community. It is never encouraging to receive such feedback. It is however, taken in stride and used as an opportunity to ameliorate the service and product as a whole. I appreciate you stating that Bai San Hô is not quite your type of resort, which we fully understand that this, coupled with the less than ideal weather conditions you encountered during your stay, has greatly affected your experience. We take great pride in our design approach that not only encompasses our vast, natural landscape and various aspects of sustainability, but also aims to preserve ancient building materials and techniques. We understand that our individually Exceptional, Collectively Unique approach does not appeal to everyone and we fully respect that. I am delighted to hear that our breakfast and the team on the beach was able to provide you with some of that "authentic sense of hospitality" that we wish for all our guests to experience. I regret to hear the circumstances surrounding the issues you had with the provided amenities, which do not per se reflect the level of service we aim to provide and stand in stark contrast to the vast majority of feedback we receive. Please rest assured we will address these issues to ensure this remains a one time occurrence. All of our menus, brochures & resort information are available in English & Vietnamese with a few exceptions that are currently being translated, please accept my sincere apologies if we were not able offer you the collateral in the correct language. 98% of our team members are native Vietnamese speakers and would always be happy to help and share their stories and life experience with our guests which is strongly engrained in our service ethos. To close off where we stated from, I regret to hear that Bai San Hô was not a resort to your liking and I appreciate the feedback you provided which will help us in our strive to exceed expectations of all of our guests at all times. We would be honoured to welcome you back on another occasion, maybe in one of our Beach Pool Villas as the design of these villas greatly differs from the Hill Pool Villa you stayed in this trip. Cám ơn và hẹn gặp lại! Michael & the Zannier Hotels Bãi San Hô Family
