Wonderful place and exceptional experience from arrival to departure. We had a stunning villa directly on the beach. What an unique view. Villa featured all we needed and much more. One surprise was the bamboo sound dock. We had to buy one upon check out, love it. Well done to whoever had this simple but super cool idea. Employees are just wonderful. I was on a work trip to Bali and was mainly in the Jimbaran Bay area. I am so glad I made the effort to go north to the West Bali National Park and stay at The Menjangan. It was refreshing to get out of the hustle of the more densely populated areas of Bali and well worth the four hour drive from the airport. The moment I arrived I knew I made the right decision, as I was greeted by a amazing staff member who then took me to a villa right on the water where the waves gently guided me to a restful sleep. My beach villa was exquisite and had an outdoor bathtub and shower that was an extra treat. The Menjangan had a wonderful, warm and hospital team who really go above and beyond to make you feel special. I enjoyed snorkeling, birding, the Balinese cooking class and had two massages while there. All were special and unique experiences. The location is isolated which is why I choose it. It is quiet and peaceful and there is so much nature to explore. Very clean and a excellent place to relax and reconnect. Food was a delight. Credit goes to their chef and the restaurant staff for being on their toes providing exceptional service. One night I enjoyed the barbecue dinner at my villa. It was a magical experience; dinning on the freshest seafood, meats from local farms, organic Bedugul vegetables...WOW! I would highly recommend The Menjangan. Everything was lovely. …

What can I say about this fantastic place. If you want to feel every inch a VIP this is the place to book. We only stayed for a few nights in one of the beautiful beach villas and regretted not booking for longer. The resort is also home to the Bali starling sanctuary and releases captive born birds to the wild. We booked a bird watching tour and saw so many amazing exotic birds. Also booked a snorkelling tour of Menjangan Island. Wow!! The coral reef was just like what you see on TV. Such a privilege to still see an untouched coral reef with even a turtle slowly swimming by. Staff were so attentive and happy to assist. Resort works hard to prevent plastic waste with also trees being planted in the enormous grounds. Although the journey to the resort from Denpasar is around 3-4hrs it is beautiful scenery and totally worth the end result. The time that I spent at The Menjangan was undoubtedly the most beautiful, peaceful, and breath-taking moments in my life. I can't describe how beautiful it is to snorkel and scuba dive around the magnificent Menjangan island, not to mention the awesomeness that a beach villa presents, making me feel grateful for in life. When I woke up in the beautiful bed I had at the beach villa one morning, I realized that I was wearing a big smile on my face. I had to express my gratitude towards The Menjangan family and wrote them a letter on my last day of stay, which was my 11th night there (I stayed for 12 days at the resort). Everything, including the staff and the nature surrounding the resort, was simply the BEST of what I have experienced so far for traveling. The trip from the Denpasar airport to the hotel takes 4 to 5 hours by car, but it was nothing but one more advantage for me to enjoy the tranquility. The Menjangan offers an airport transfer service with a certain amount of fee and the price is very reasonable, considering the amazing tour on the way!…

We were delighted to learn that you enjoyed your stay and appreciated generous space and unique setting of our Beach Villas: their beach front location is truly special especially when deer wonder around … Although snorkeling/diving at Menjangan Island remain one of the most popular activities, together with horseback riding across the National Park, we have plenty of options to keep everyone entertained in direct contact with nature. Despite of location, indeed 4 to 5 hours drive away, north west Bali national park is very very different to other parts of this magic island of Bali, worth exploring. We often recommend guests to drive through Bedugul – Pupuan areas with lovely scenery as well stopping on the way for coffee / tea and some pisang goreng (fried banana with honey-syrup), making the whole trip even more interesting. I and my wife waited for 3 years to go back to this place. Having liked the place so much last time, we booked for 8 nights all together on this trip. The place was still a wonder, and every staffs will smile at you as you walk along anywhere. For the whole period, we enjoyed the vastness of the premises; walked around the forest, snorkeled at the jetty, did a bit of kayaking around the bay and rode horses to the sunset. I will definitely be coming back again to the place and would recommend everyone to take a visit to this beautiful place. Every time you look around, you will feel the gaze of monkey families and stare of deer (menjangan), let alone the songs of many different birds. One thing I found sad was that the list of menu at the restaurant got shortened over the COVID period. And after 8 days, I and my wife were kind of facing challenges at dinner time, hahaha. Now that we are exiting the COVID era, hopefully things will improve and more menus will be available next year.…

Beautiful location in the national park. Much wildlife to see. Very friendly team. Great activities to do and good food. The view tower has an amazing view and sunset watching is a must. The room is spacious and comfy bed. Can highly recommend.

This has been our 4th stay at the Menjangan Resort&Spa and our first "post-Covid" stay with them. When we arrived, we were told that "...nothing has changed" and indeed, nothing has changed. The resort is still as beautiful as ever! The entire Menjangan family is still as professional, helpful, kind, caring as always. The site is still as beautifully maintained as always! To us, Menjangan is about tranquility, about the luxury of privacy, about amazing food, and about the kidness of the people. We initially had booked 6 nights at the resort but on our last day, we simply weren't ready yet to leave, so we extended for 4 more nights. These 10 days allowed us to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of our lives and we cannot thank the Menjangan family enough for making that possible. Every single staff member takes such good care of each guest and they do so with warm smiles. Gelgel, the manager, is absolutely on top of things and will immediately address any request one may have. We are thankful for another amazing stay at the Menjangan Resort&Spa and we look forward staying with them again. …

This was probably the best part of our whole Bali trip and so worth the long journey to get there. We had booked the residence. We arrived quite late in the evening and staff was amazing when they greeted us. We were escorted to the residence in one of their vans with the upstair outdoor seating, the experience was one of the best in my entire life, it was out of this world. The residence comes with 3 bedrooms and a butler on call. Both of them were so super friendly to us and made us feel very welcome. Thanx to both of them! Food at the restaurant was very very nice, and the setting, omg, it really is back to nature. Staff all super friendly, the vibe is very relaxed. We had a tour of one of the beach villas and they look amazing too. Now the best part to me was the jetty where you could swim and snorkel, it was so beautiful and tranquil. The only complain i would have is not having cushions/toppers for the sunloungers next to the jetty area. They did provide them though on request and are also normal at the regular beach. Menjangan - well this one needs to be one for your bucket list. The resort is perfectly positioned in the National park of West Bali. It’s a real treat for your senses from the breathtaking sunsets, to the peace and tranquility, the sound of bird-song, the cheeky monkeys and deer roaming free, the incredible food, and nothing less than 5 star customer service from the staff and management there. We were staying in one of the suites for 7 nights, so if you have the opportunity to book one of these, then go for it! So comfortable, lots of living space and a kitchen area. There are so many activities to choose from. My son did the horse grooming one lunchtime. We did a sunset horseback ride, which is absolutely incredible and a must for everyone, even if you’ve never been on a horse before like us! We did some trekking through the forest, snorkeling at the jetty, watching the sunset from The Tower and having a luxury massage outdoors overlooking the sea. We saw many types of birds such as kingfishers, endangered Barli starlings, giant squirrels and even a Luwak. We had a beautiful romantic dinner on the beach on our last night, where a wild deer graced us with its presence as it took a cooling drink from the sea whilst we ate a few yards away. The staff work meticulously to keep this place on top form, and go out of their way to make sure your stay is nothing less than perfect. West Bali is a stunning place and not one where many tourists visit, due to its long distance from the airport, but they are missing an absolute gem!…

This resort is great for every age right in the west Bali national park. Spent 3 nights in the beautiful park which has monkeys wild deer exotic birds a nature trail with hose riding available complimentary bikes etc. if in Bali definitely worth a few days and forgot to mention the fantastic staff they have at the Menjangan.
