We stayed for days with Yudy and Risber in their lovely home located in the beautiful surrounding of the bay of pigs. They have a cozy house with 2 comfortable rooms located a few hundred meters from the beach. Everything about our stay was really pleasant! Yudy cooked us great dinner with seafood and Risber taught me how to make a ''proper'' cuban Mojito! Those memorable nights sitting on the porch rocking away on our rocking chairs whilst sipping those delicious mojitos! Enjoying lengthy conversations with Risber about the challenging life in Cuba and the way in which to go ahead! When visiting Playa Giron drop by this lovely kindhearted family! Try to picture the perfect tropical bed and breakfast experience. 1. Does it offer opportunity to see some of the most amazing snorkeling in the Caribbean? 2. Is your early arrival greeted with the humblest of grace and most refreshing mojitos? 3. Are your bath towels folded in such a way as to put you in awe and wonder of the delicate application of crane origami? 4. Do your refreshing breakfasts offer all the opportunities to taste, smell and consume tropical delight? 5. Do dinners consist of the freshest catch of the day - from octopus to lobster? 6. Is the sun shinning warmly every morning?
Oh, there is so much more to picture! Everything listed and so much more is a result of staying at Hospédese en Guanaba's nest. Yudy and Risber are amazing hosts! Out of the many hosts we stayed with during our time in Cuba (5 different hosts), these two offer world class hospitality! Even though we arrived a bit early, they warmly welcomed us with refreshing complimentary mojitos (the best in Cuba, btw)! Everything was absolutely perfect: from the proximity to the bus, restaurants, beaches and bars to the refreshing and filling breakfasts. We really felt like part of their family.

We stayed two nights at Yudi & Risber and those were the best days on our trip. They are very kind and helpfull. Risber made the best mojito ever en Yudi prepared the best dinner. Thanks to them we made a very nice walk in the woods and we're going to dive , it was a wonderfull experience.

We stayed 2 nights at Yudi & Risber's and we absolutely loved our experience. They are such a lovely couple, their place is exceptionally clean, their food is so delicious and their mango juice is to die for. We've even been lucky enough to share with them a great conversation about cuban culture over Risber's excellent mojitos. On top of this it's been one of the very few places in Cuba where we've been able to communicate in English with our hosts. We strongly recommend this outstanding casa.

Very kind couple runs this casa. The rooms are ordinary for Cuba I would say, but their breakfast and dinner was the best we ate during our trip. Also, this couple speaks English, which made our stay very enjoyable (we need to learn Spanish ^^)

Yudi and Risber were very welcoming and helpful. They helped us figured out how to go diving while we were there.
Very close to "Bar", beach and the Bay of Pigs Museum.
The food was hands down the best in Cuba.

Yudi and Risber were so kind to us. We arrived early in the morning, Yudi served us a fresh coffee from the cafetera. They told us where the places to go for the beach. Beach is only 10 min by foot. FInally, I won;t forget the special teaching class from Risber for making a REAL mojito! uno dos tres quattro cinquo seis siete ocho nueve dies, hopla there is enough rum! WIsh you have the same chance as us to meet them.

We stayed at Playa Giron for 4 nights. Yudi y Risber is a very nice place to stay and honestly the best casa during our 3 weeks trip to Cuba. We made a reservation there prior to our arrival. As we arrived in the morning, we were picked up at the bus stop by Risber, which was very helpful. At the casa we were welcomed with a hot and delicious espresso. Yudi is a pretty good chef and there is always plenty of delcious food for dinner (fish, lobster, chicken or vegeterian) and breakfast respectively. We had the feeling that both were not affraid to talk in English with us.

I was very acutely ill when I stayed at Yudi & Isber's, because of the "four seasons" pizza I ate at the restaurant near the entrance to the car park of the resort. Don't eat there!
They cared for me very well and even arranged for a bicitaxi to collect me in the middle of the night and take me to the local health clinic, all free of charge.
I am very grateful to them both for their help. It is not nice being so ill when you are thousands of miles from home but they made it a lot easier for me!
PS Yudi's food is delicious! and it won't make you ill haha!

I stayed in Playa Giron for 5 days with a friend while were were doing a diving a snorkling trip around the Bay of Pigs. I am so glad we were able to stay with Yudi and Risber. They connected us with a local dive instructor and we had a fabulous time. The home is well located, only a short walk from the bus station and the hotel (if you need computer or internet access). The home is clean, our bathroom was en-suite which provide privacy. The food is amazing. I highly recommend trying any of the freash seafood. I would recommend this casa to anyone traveling to Playa Giron.
