#20 of 21 hotels in Quedlinburg
Kommen Sie an! Seien Sie unser Gast! Fühlen Sie sich rundum wohl! Harzlichst, Ihr Philipp Voß Hoteldirektor & Gastgeber

+ Near the citycenter + Near the station + Has 10-15 free parking lots + Very friendly staff + Low price - Really old interior. Looks to be from another age. - Because of the interior, not fresh at all. - Breakfast was big, but not the best. - Staff talked a small amount of english. - Only wifi in the lobby, and we couldn´t find the password.

I was sent on foot almost 1 km to another hotel because they could not find my reservation (I had booked a room via Booking.com and had a written confimation). The hotel has a good location next to the station and only 5 minutes walk to the center of town.

We were expected at check in. Reception closed at 20:00. There is a telephone number on the back of the room door to call if there is an emergency during the night. Staff were mainly invisible during our stay and I checked out by just leaving the key at reception. The room was on the small side but was clean and well equipped. The curtain didn't quite cover the whole window. Breakfast didn't have any hot food on the first 2 mornings but did on the third.

On check in were told of breakfast times at 8 am and that we needed to use the main key for hotel access after 10 pm. We went to check out at 6 am as we had a train to catch. No hotel staff around ,no signs to indicate what to do. Found a phone number to call which put us through to a hotel employee. He arrived minutes later yelling, cursing, throwing papers , at us about checking out at this time, wanting us to wait until 8, we explained several times that that wasn't possible. He was rude beyond belief. We were left speechless.

We arrived only to find no one could speak basic English to tell us just the room number. If train noise bothers you, don't stay here, not an issue to us we are city dwellers. There was no a/c which was okay but then overnight it was still warm(they gave us fans) with the windows open we had an invasion of yellow jackets or bees in the room. Sadly my daughter is allergic, so we left late the following night, checked out early. The breakfast while yummy was never refilled, we were told to move tables since the informal tables were full or dirty, we sat down at one with a dinner setting, it was just insane how upset the staff got. Okay then keep the breakfast tidy! It was old, no biggie we are used to old but the bugs that did us in.
