Stayed here for two nights after a week in the mountains. We took a family room which had the sofa converted into a bed in the living room area which had its own TV. Check in was efficiently conducted with the friendly staff informing us that the restaurant is closed for dinner in the interim period (saw a sign that says it will reopen on the 19th). But there are plenty of choices nearby.
Everything feels well maintained and clean. The bathroom is large with two overhead showers in the shower area. Room also came with a fridge and in room safe. WiFi is free but remember to get the password. Otherwise, the only thing lacking was an electric kettle and the TV remote did not have a language selection.
The property is located across the road from the lake. Very nice views if you happen to get a room facing the lake. Shopping and restaurants are also within steps away.
We spent a day driving around the lake and made various stops including lunch at the delightful Ristorante La Berlera at the top of the lake at Riva Del Garda. Despite the winter schedule, regular ferries still run from the nearby port to the beautiful Sirmione.
All in all, a delightful stay in a beautiful area staffed by friendly people.

The hotel is in a fantastic central location in Desenzano. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby as well as the harbour and boat rentals etc. The hotel itself is very nice and modern. The rooftop pool was wonderful with great views of the lake.
The breakfast was very good. We had to pre order the night before and it was always prompt and great quality.
Something to be prepared for... there is no iron facilities available to hand in the hotel, which we found unusual and frustrating as everything we had in hand luggage needed ironing. To get something ironed, we had to pay for a laundry service and it took 24 hours.
Also be sure to take conditioner with you as there was none in the bathroom, only shampoo and the hotel confirmed that they do not provide that, which I thought was odd and never come across that in a hotel before.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They recommended local restaurants to eat in which were excellent and authentic Italian.
Overall, a great stay for a few days and I would recommend this hotel.

We stayed in the hotel for 7 night with 2 friends. The hotel made sure we had rooms next door to each other with a beautiful view of the lake. It was classed as a side view but the view of the lake was perfect. All staff in the hotel were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. The hotel is a perfect location for access to the ferry to visit other towns around the lake. It is in the centre of Desenzano so all restaurants and bars and shops are within easy reach. We took trips to Sirmione and Bardolino. The hotel has a lovely pool with a very clean poolside area - albeit it is small, there are plenty of sunbeds. Our rooms were spotless, great size, very clean with good air con. The only small point that might have made it better would be tea and coffee making facilities in the room. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis. Breakfast was fabulous with everything that we wanted - a good selection of continental breakfasts plus hot breakfast on request. The girl at Reception, and I am sorry I did not catch her name, organised a trip to the Ottella winery for us. She was very knowledgeable about the winery and was able to help us select the best one to visit. A special mention to the lady who looked after our rooms (31/8 - 7/9) Every day she greeted us with a warm welcome and a smile and we were very grateful for the care she took with our rooms (469 and 470) The bar area and outside space was very nice to sit in for an evening drink before dinner and end of the night. All in all an excellent stay in a fantastic hotel and our thanks to the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

I highly recommend this place; the location is perfect, the staff is friendly and attentive, the rooms have a good size and a modern style, the breakfast service does meet all the COVID-19 requirements and the valet parking for just 9 Euros per night is a real asset of the hotel. In my opinion, the pictures on the hotel's website don't do justice - it looks much better when you arrive at this beautiful property. I will definitely be back at the Park Hotel.

Park Hotel offers a classy, relaxed environment with high standards of service from a friendly and helpful team of staff. Attention to detail wins the day, and they have this just right; from the very varied breakfast menu, to fastidious cleanliness throughout the hotel and a sense of style and understated luxury that you can't help but admire. However, our favourite feature has to be the rooftop pool and bar with views out over the lake and bell towers of Desenzano. At the end of a hard days sight-seeing it was the perfect way to cool down and chill. We had a superb holiday here and would happily recommend this hotel to you.

After travelling all around the world I must say that the staff at this hotel are exceptional from the maid, waiters to the reception staff, everyone was so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was spotless and what a fantastic location with spectacular views, only 6 euro return per person on the boat to get across to Sirmeoni and other lake resorts. Room 473 with it's own sun lounger balcony looking out of the lake was special. The best restaurant in this resort by far is part of the hotel and the food is presented as a work of art, 5 star. Will definitely be returning.

Very disappointed with our stay in this hotel. Definitely should not be a 4* hotel. The rooms are dark and dreary, tiny- even the superior room with a balcony. The door for the balcony couldn’t open fully as the bed was so close to it. Poor quality linen on the bed also. The bathroom was tiny, with a step up in to it. No Bath. Breakfast was very bland and had to pay for an omelette or fried egg. Stopped eating there after the 3rd morning. The tall waiter with the glasses seemed to be always giving out to the other waiters. Not what you wanted to hear in the mornings.! The dinner menu was the same for the 7nights. Pool was miserable tiny, not like in its photos. The cleaners were lovely but seemed to be making noise every morning outside the room. The bar has a poor selection of beer and is tiny. Nowhere cosy to sit and read a book. Felt like you had to leave the hotel for the day as room was claustrophobic with 2 in it. So disappointed. Very little to do in Desenzano. Only for the ferry to the other villages it would’ve been an even longer week than it already was. Wouldn’t recommend the hotel or Lake Garda. It’s so over rated. Paid a lot for this hotel and holiday and definitely did not meet expectations. No welcoming homely feel to the hotel.

An excellent location just away from the busyness of the piazzas and harbour but close enough to be in the middle of everything within a few minutes. A bit quirky and some rooms maybe need a bit of updating but all in all quality place to stay. Double glazing of rooms and doors to small balcony works really well keeping any road noise to a minimum. Balcony small but sufficient. Rooms are cleaned daily and beds and towels changed. Roof top Pool area is small but never feels crowded as people come and go using it. Views are fabulous. Always managed to get a sunlounger. The food and drink is all reasonably priced and good quality. Breakfast was excellent and enough variety without being over the top. Restaurant in evening could be quiet but sometimes you need that if you have had a busy day or want to have a little peace away from harbour and piazza areas but these are still within easy reach for the buzz. It is definitely the staff who make the stay so welcoming. Friendly, knowledge, speak several languages, attentive and appear to take pride in the hotel, they just want you to have a great holiday and stay whilst there. And we did. Thank you.

This hotel is perfect for2/3 nights if you are in Lake Garda italy to explore, leaving early in the morning and coming back late afternoon/evening. If you want to stay longer to explore and totally chill out this is not for you. The pool area is very small with loungers very close together. The room is small but very clean with a good shower (no bath) the balcony is small with chairs you can sit for max 10 minutes. Breakfast is fine eggs done anyway fruit breads small choice of cheese.

We have just returned from a week at Park Hotel and already looking to return next year.
The staff throughout the hotel can’t do enough for you.
We had a rear facing room that was compact with a balcony that had sun all afternoon, housekeeping kept it immaculate and plenty clean towels and asked for more coat hangers and they supplied straight away, fridge was great for keeping water in.
Breakfast was a highlight for us and a great choice of continental with something local that changed daily, I loved the smoked salmon croissants. Boiled, poached , fried eggs and bacon included and delicious, yes you can pay for an omelette as previously said, but plenty of choice if you don’t t want to pay, the young girls were all so friendly.
We dined twice at the Il Philo restaurant and wished we had eaten earlier in the week as the food was so delicious and the service from Max & Jack was wonderful.
The small rooftop pool is an added bonus, we never found a problem getting a sun lounger but towards late afternoon when people return after a day away it could become a bit busier. Sasha in the snack bar was wonderful and a credit to the hotel, so friendly and makes the best Aperol spritz, the light bites were delicious and just enough choice.
Desenzano is a perfect resort for exploring the lake, we went to Sirmione with the local ferry terminal across the road from the hotel, Verona by train from Desenzano, taking only 20 minutes approx. we also hired a car locally to go to the motor valley and visit Ferrari and Lamborghini.
