Riviera Blu is a modern 3* hotel, recently refurbished. A new management that assures a warm welcoming in a friendly and familiar atmosphere. Our main priorities are: kindness, clean and comfortable rooms, efficient service. Our hotel is a small building, in which we have invested more than ever, to create a place where you can feel at home. The hotel is located in a small village near the sea called TIRRENIA, only 11 km from PISA.Here you can enjoy our mild Mediterranean climate. We are inside Migliarino San Rossore Massaciucoli Natural Park, here you can find peace and quietness for your relax.A good reason to choose our hotel is also because of our strategic location, you can reach the centre of Pisa in only 15 min by car or 30 min by bus, there are bustops to Pisa and Livorno at only a few metres distance. We have a private carpark inside the hotel, but you can also park outside on the street in front. This is also an advantage compared to the difficulty of the city center where the few car parks are pay and display. From our hotel you can easily reach many other places in Tuscany. We have a shuttle service for arrivals and departures to/from Pisa Airport and Train station and also to/from Livorno train station and port. This service has to be requested in advance and is available every day from 8:00 am to 00:00 am.Free WI-FI coverage.

Just the bare minimum without pretension. Nice environment on the ground floor and in the corridors. But the House a little bit. The bathroom is more suitable for children, it is just mignon. I do not know how old people do. also sink to change. Bathroom shower a miserable sachet and no more. Banal towels. Parkings for four cars, the others outside in public parking lots in summer for a fee but in winter for free. At breakfast there were no fresh brioches, there were only those at the factory or at most those frozen from oven-warmed. Surely to appreciate the kindness of the waitress all doing.

This is a small, family-run hotel a few miles outside Pisa. Its high rating, which we endorse, is probably more for the friendliness/helpfulness of the owner/managers than for its facilities. There's no restaurant, but there are lots of dining opportunities in the area (even in early November when we came). The hotel will give you good recommendations: Il Martini is quite special, and Lo Squalo well worth a visit. Don't come to watch TV if you're an English speaker: no relevant channels, but why watch TV here anyway?? Come with a car? - good parking available. We were very happy with this as a base from which to explore Pisa, Lucca and other parts of Tuscany.

A really lovely and comfortable family run hotel in Tirrenia. We very much enjoyed our stay there in the end of July 2017. The hotel provided discount for sunbeds at the beach nearby, which was only a few minutes walk away. Clean and comfortable rooms with air condition. The breakfast was very nice with good and strong espresso. I could certainly recommend this hotel to other Tirrenia visitors.

Stayed here for a short two night trip, and very much enjoyed our stay! The rooms were slight outdated, and beds, sheets, towels a bit uncomfortable... but the room, bathroom, and lobby/dining area was clean clean... which I find most important! Staff is friendly. Breakfast had many options, and a kind woman comes around and gives you warm pastries and coffee/tea of your choosing! Walkable to the beach... literally less than 5 minutes! Fantastic.

Quaint, family run, older hotel with lovely breakfast room and garden areas. Rooms are simple, clean, and pleasant. We had a small balcony overlooking the neighbour's garden. We found the free wi-fi service was slow and intermittent. We found walking and cycling in the area during the " off season " with many beach side facilities abandoned and in need of repair, and restaurants and facilities closed, rather depressing. Limited options for eating in the area during the non-peak season.

Lovely run family hotel, the manager Massimo was friendly and accommodating and provided excellent service and beyond. Nothing was ever too much. The other staff such as Fiqerete, Sose, Biku and Christiano were all just as welcoming and provided us with a relaxing experience. The hotel offers a transfer service to and from the airport which is fantastic. There was also breakfast included which was tasty and fresh - pastries, juices, eggs and tea and coffee. The room was very clean and pleasant with a lovely decor. The location was excellent it was on the main road with the bus stop available to take you to Pisa train station walking distance of 2 minutes from the hotel. The beach was across the road and the town centre is roughly a 25 minute stroll. The best thing about this trip was having the hotel as a base to travel around to the neighbouring cities, within the 4 days of me staying in Tirrenia my cousin and I visited Florence, Lucca, Siena and Pisa. The only downfall was the buses running every half an hour to an hour- having a more frequent bus service in the area would have been better and more lights on the road. If the hotel never had its blue light outside the hotel you would most definitely miss your stop. Overall amazing experience and I will be definitely visiting again in the future.

First stay in Italy. Seemed to be Family owned and they are a beautiful family. Very caring and always so helpful. The hotel looks like new. Very clean and nicely decorated. Our room was overlooking the neighbour’s garden, great balcony. They arranged our transfers from/to airport. Free wifi, excellent connection. Crossing the street you walk about 100m and reach the beach, and you can walk all along the coast. You can even rent bikes for free! There are excellent restaurants one next to each other all along the coast. For 2 euros/pp you can reach Pisa in 30 mins and see the leaning tower. No complaints, great stay.

Lovely hotel and extremely affordable. Nice breakfast and great cappuccino each morning. Walking distance to the small town and places to eat for dinner. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Our trip was off season but we were still able to visit and walk on the beach all the way into town.

We stayed here prior to an early morning flight from Pisa, the hotel itself had limited parking but we managed to find a spot that wasn’t charged on the road outside and the hotel will move the cars to try and ensure maximum capacity in the car park itself…the car park is locked at night time. Hotel was very accommodating of our early morning departure and let us check out and did not hold passports so we could just get up and go in the morning. We did not have breakfast due to this, so cannot comment on that aspect. It was nice and clean, the towels were a bit odd, like sheets but they did the trick.. It would seem that Tirrenia/Marina de Pisa completely shuts down in the middle of September, which I suppose works with peak tourist times and so as such there really isn’t a lot to do around the hotel in terms of restaurants and bars. The main Marina is around 2 miles away and the town in the opposite direction is about a mile and half. The hotel did offer to lend us bikes but after walking around Italy for 5 days we declined this offer and went in the car. Only a small selection of restaurants and bars were still open, I think in the summer time this hotel is ideally located as there are loads of places along the main coastal road and heading down to the beach front. If I was coming back in the summer time I would choose to stay here but off peak I would probably aim for Pisa itself for more options.
