Fantastic hotel - spotlessly clean, spacious rooms, very friendly staff. No shortage of sun beds day beds and loungers - take your pick. Pools are great - terraces immaculate. The restaurant food is delicious and varied. Breakfast was over a long period to feel relaxed and welcoming not rushed with a choice of air con room or terrace. Wide choice of food with some daily changes. 10 minute walk to the main road. So far enough to be quiet and relaxing - close enough to shops, bars and restaurants. Reasonably priced massage - which I took advantage of at the star of my holiday to ease myself into a very releasing and thoroughly enjoyable week long stay. My only criticism is that there are no irons available. But who want to spend their holiday ironing anyway ! Lassi itself was quieter than I had anticipated but only a short distance to Argostoli. …
I stayed there with my family and we had a great time. The location is perfect, 10 minutes away from the beach and restaurants and just a couple of minutes away from a small supermarket. The hotel is very clean, the pool is great and the staff is very kind and helpful. The rooms have A/C, and double glazing. On our arrival, Signor Enrico gave us all the information regarding the area and how to travel to Pisa and Livorno. We had a great time. I recommend it.
Just back from a fabulous week's stay at this hotel. Extremely friendly, laid back and helpful owner Enrico who goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. Rooms are spotless. Breakfast delicious-lovely to have fresh fruit (and pastries!) and a pot of English tea. Lots of other options too. Pool was fabulous, clean and never busy. Tennis court a bonus too. Small supermarket 2 streets away and only a 10 min walk to beach and a variety of restaurants. Bikes also available to use free of charge. A very well positioned hotel just 15 mins from Pisa airport. I don't hesitate to recommend it to anyone who needs a relaxing place to be after touring the nearby cities of Pisa, Lucca and Florence, especially in the August temperatures!
We booked this hotel on the basis of the excellent reviews and we’re not disappointed. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the service was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and all the staff were very friendly and polite. The pool area was lovely and the tennis court was an added bonus. We would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.
We have cousins who live in Tirrenia and try to visit at least once a year. Because of Covid, we hadn't been back for the last three years, but we finally returned in June of this year. Once again, we stayed at the Hotel Bristol and couldn't be happier. It was like coming home to an old friend. Many businesses in Italy, and especially hotels and restaurants, suffered during the pandemic, and many closed. Fortunately, the Hotel Bristol did not, and is still the best place in town. This is a family-run business, and it shows. The owner Enrico and his wife Mary are there every day from morning to night, setting up and helping to serve breakfast, which is quite good, to maintaining the wonderful pool and tennis court. A few others on staff pitch in, but the place wouldn't be the same without them. If you have business or plan to vacation anywhere in the area, I strongly urge you to stay at the Hotel Bristol.…
Loved our 3 day stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Good choice at breakfast. Nothing was to much trouble for Enrico and his staff. Great pool and enjoyed the beach even though it was a good walk from the hotel. Hope to go back in future.
My 17 year old son and I have just come back from a 4 night stay at the Hotel Bristol. After researching hotels and areas to stay we chose the Hotel Bristol based on reviews and we were not disappointed! The hotel is in a great location just 15 minutes drive from Pisa airport. We chose a superior room which is in a separate block near the swimming pool. The room was perfect, very spacious and with plenty of wardrobe space, drawers, a large bathroom with walk-in shower, complimentary toiletries, complimentary slippers, a safe and a fridge with 2 bottles of water in (which we really appreciated coming straight from the airport!) The wifi in the room was also really fast and reliable (there is also separate wifi around the pool which was also good) I took my own teabags and coffee and asked Enrico if he could supply a kettle. He immediately came back with one and 2 mugs. He also told us there was a supermarket nearby and we could put food in the fridge which was very convenient. The room was spotlessly clean and each day when we returned had been cleaned to a very high standard with fresh towels each day. We loved the pool area. It was generally very quiet as most people were out sightseeing. We would spend an hour or 2 round the pool at the end of each day but it was never crowded and although there is only 12 sunbeds there were always some free. There was also an honesty bar near the pool which looked well stocked although we didn't actually use this. The pool was nice to swim in, big enough to do lengths and also had a jacuzzi section next to it. Next to the pool there is a tennis court and also free bike hire although again we didn't use these. Breakfasts were fantastic! So much choice! Fresh fruit, cereal, pastries, cakes, nuts, biscuits, cakes, fruit juice. yoghurts, hot drinks, various teabag flavours, a toaster for toasting bread, ham and cheese. We really ate like kings each morning and Enrico and his team were always on hand to see if you wanted a hot drink or were buzzing about cleaning things up or restocking the breakfast area. We found the location perfect for sightseeing. We caught the no 10 bus to Pisa the first day (bought tickets from the tabacconist shop round the corner which Enrico told us about) The bus stop is a short walk away and it's a 25 min trip. The 2nd day we asked to book a taxi to the train station in Pisa and Enrico called the firm he uses so we wouldn't be overcharged on the fare. The driver was lovely, very friendly and the car was immaculate. He also told us to text him the time we would be back at Pisa train station and he would come and collect us (which he did, he was there waving when we emerged from the train station) That day we caught the train to Florence (about an hours journey) The last day we again caught the bus to the train station in Pisa and caught the train to Lucca. Again another fabulous day out! The location of the hotel itself in Tirrenia is perfect. It is a lovely quiet resort on the beach and feels very Italian. We found plenty of restaurants in the town to eat at and everyone was very welcoming. On our last day Enrico had again booked a driver to take us to the airport and we were extremely sad to leave. I would not hesitate to stay again at Hotel Bristol. Enrico is such a natural hotelier, he is born to do it! He is on hand constantly, genuinely cares about his guests and cares that they have a good stay. As a woman travelling with her son I felt very safe and felt that if we'd have experience any problems he would have been there to assist us. Thanks Enrico and your team for a wonderful holiday and I hope one day to visit again!…
We had a fabulous week’s stay at this hotel. Everything was lovely. The staff, Enrico, Roberto and Alberto were extremely helpful and were always very pleasant and warm towards us. The hotel was very clean, our room which had a small balcony was very comfortable. It was very handy to have a fridge in the room too. Our breakfast was perfect for us. The use of bikes and the tennis court is a great asset and if we had stayed longer we would have used both. The pool area was a lovely place to relax after spending busy days visiting the sights around Pisa Lucca and Florence which were all easy to access by public transport. I would highly recommend this hotel to my family and friends. We would like to say thank you to all the staff for making our stay (our 43rd wedding anniversary) a memorable experience…
The place was spotless and they couldn’t do enough for you ,would highly recommend, excellent location, lovely pool ,and tennis court ,the breakfast menu was incredible ,sky sports in the bar and room along with play station, rooms cleaned every day with clean towels
We were looking for a hotel near to the airport for a week as we had previously been staying in Viarreggio. The hotel is 10 mins from the beach and supermarket and the hotel offers free bike hire. The room whilst small are immaculate and all have tv,mini bar and air con. The pool has deck chairs and a jacuzzi. The breakfast is high quality with breads, croissants cereals and fresh fruit and yoghurt. We kept salads stuff in the fridge and Enrico gave us cutlery , mugs and a kettle. His daughter took us to a lab to get our pcr.
