On booking I didn't mind having to pay for the showers as I thought it would mean they would be amazing (they are not!). Sandy pitch was frustrating as it just gets everywhere. Food in the restaurant was cheap but awful, the beach nearby was spoilt by 9k strech of sunbeds and umbrellas. So pleased we only stayed for 1 night as would have been so disappointed if we had booked for longer!
We stayed few nights before they closed for the season. It was a wonderful stay. The location is 10-15 minutes walk to the beach. Nice and sparkling clean facilities. Wonderful and friendly people. Yes you pay for showers but it’s only 1 Euro for six minutes.
My lord. There is music blasting from everywhere because of the animation team. We weren't able to speak to eachother at our campsite untill 23:30... I understand that it is a campsite with child activities but blasting music till 23:30 isnt a child activity. It is annoying. So we left. If you want all day activity for your child: it is good (please ask a campsite far away from the animation team) If you come for silence and relaxing: stay away.
we stayed for 3 nights the pitch was a good size, showers and toilets very clean, didnt like all the rules one in particular quite time from 2.30 pm until 4 pm you couldn't do anything in that time the pool closed bar area shut no cars can go in or out,we were told one evening to turn our TV down as it was to loud that was at 10.30 at night you had to pay for showers and the pool, we didn't go to the beach by the site as you couldnt take your own chair or umbrella, we drove along the coast and found a rocky area that the locals used it was much better. Pisa was a beautiful city to visit
We visited here with our adult son for 5 nights in our own tent. The pitch we were given was spacious and shady which was a blessing for us as we stayed at the start of the heatwave. The pool area is clean comfortable and a very pleasant experience. The showers and toilets were meticulously cleaned daily. One niggle for us was that you needed to pay for all hot water including washing up by a pre filled tag system ( money you didn’t use does get refunded however) and the shower certainly for a woman when washing my hair I ran out of hot water mid way. The restaurant serves excellent food and the seafood mixed platter was wonderful and very fresh. My son who is a pizza freak asked for a larger pizza boy he got what he asked for it was enormous. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff were very attentive and friendly. …
My family of 5 travelled to Camping St Michael for a 2 week break in a mobile home. It was a fantastic holiday. The site was clean and the mobile was comfortable but basic. If we needed anything replaced we just asked the desk and it was done. The staff were all brilliant and super friendly, from the front desk to the coffee shop to the life guard. However I must give a special mention to the animation team Gio, Daniele and Angelica who provided all the entertainment at night which was fantastic. There was wake up aerobics, tai chi, children's games, aqua gym and a nightly schedule involving a talent show, quiz, karaoke. It was all great fun. An Irish dancer won the talent show so hopefully they'll have an Irish flag up next year! The minibus also goes regularly apart from Sunday to the beach were you can rent chairs for a small fee, they were included in the price for us. The swimming pool was very clean and although you had to pay 1 euro to enter, it was clean and the idea of paying a small fee at a turnstile meant that sun chairs weren't reserved by other guests and there was normally an available sun chair if you turned up at opening time. They had a quiet period during the day which was really nice. It was also quiet at night and security did regular walkabouts to ensure people were quiet. The clientele is a mixture of Italian, Dutch, German, French and Swiss mostly. It has a very friendly vibe and it s a relaxed laid back place. The shop on site was basic but super friendly with lovely cappucinos but a few minutes walk away there is a small corner shop to buy basic goods. The local Coop is 3 km away and during the summer the local bus is free along the lungo mare and you can travel there and back for free, Things to see, travel to Pisa, Lucca, Livorno and Florence. We didnt hire a car and we took the people's mover from the airport ( 2.70E) and then the bus to Tirrenia ( 2 E)Altogether this took about 40 minutes I would return without hesitation to this fantastic campsite and I would like to personally thank Alessandro, Consuela, Mario, Nicole. Titti, Jamin, Franco and the animation team for making this a super holiday and perhaps out best holiday ever!…
We had a small tent rental: Coco, for one week. It was small 16m², but clean and had all the basics. Beds were good. A water outlet outside for the dishes and fresh water near our pitch. The entire site was very well kept and had a clean shower and toilet facility nearby. Swimmingpool clean but a small fee was required. Caps mandatory to enter the water. Our kids enoiyed the play area with volleyball pitch and pingpong. A lot of childeren to play with. No restaurants, shops or grossery stores within walking distance, Beach area a 5 minute walk or free transport from the campsite. Rental of beds and umbrella's at the beach not cheap but they gave us extra chairs for the children for free. Overall good experience. Pisa, Lucca, Sienna and Florance all within easy driving distance.
A very good camping near de sea. Good, well kept and clean showers and toilets. A swimming pool (I did not use) good restaurant and bar. I was cycling solo from Pisa to Venice and this was my first night.
It is a lovely camping with good facilities and a swimming pool.Everything is kept clean well. It is a cosy place and not to big. They have also good accommodation for rental the coco tents and the mobile homes with airco. Fun for kids, several playgrounds and entertainment every evening. The restaurant at the camping is good. The environment is great, it is near the sea and city Pisa. They also have a bus that takes the customers to the private beach of the camping. Simply a great place to spend the summer holidays!
The main thing that annoyed us with this campsite is the fact that you pay your deposit then they give you a long list of rules and regulations and extra costs of things so you can't cancel and get your deposit back. One of the most frustrating rules was the fact that you can't bring a car into the campsite after 11.30pm, but there are still lots of people up and about and it is still really noisy. You have to park your car in the tiny car park outside and if that is full, then you park it on the side of the road. There didn't seem to be any noise control after 11pm at all. One morning at 3am my husband went to the toilet and there were kids in there smoking drugs. Not pleasant.
