The hotel is centrally located to both the beach and downtown. The entrance to the beach is across the street and from there you can enjoy a peaceful walk. A short walk to the center part of town allows you to get some exercise as well as enjoy the restaurants and amusements in the area.
This hotel was booked by the airline when my flight was cancelled. It is suitable for that purpose but little else. The sign outside says 4* hotel. Not by any stretch of the imagination it is closer to 2*+ The room was small but clean and adequate for sleeping in an emergency situation. There was a small bathroom with a shower cubicle. Again, this was clean and adequate. There was complimentary wifi. Breakfast was an average continental buffet and it did the job.
Very nice place ! Rooms are clean, not very big but nice. Very close to the supermarket which is in the next building, to the bus stop (if you want to go to Livorno or Pisa its just 3 minutes away), and what is the most important - to the free beach and sea. People working there are very nice and helpfull, additiinally italian breakfast included in the price of the room. If you dont need SPA and jacuzzi feel free to book your room here.
PROS (1) Shower water pressure - extremely strong (2) good number of towels (3) free wi fi CONS (1) No sound proof - hotel room (2) safe too much old fashioned/ difficult to use (3) curtain did not work properly (4) lack of staff - front (5) font desk - 1 adapter rent 10 euro deposit per adapter
Euro Hotel was great for our 7 days stay in Tirrenia! The staff was great, the room and bathroom were very clean and the location was perfect! The hotel was also very affordable and the cheapest around it. It provided free parking for our car and there was enough space in June. In peak months July / August it might get tight though. The staff was super friendly and always provided good tips about the surroundings. The cleaning staff did the room always neatly every day. The breakfast though was very simple. The focus was cakes obviusly. The bread were just ok and the small pizza bread just ok as well. There was nutella and jam and the normal cornflakes available. At least the coffee was always freshly made. The only thing I would ask to improve here is to maybe get better bread? The location was pretty much perfect! A grocery store is just next to it which is open 8am-8pm. The free beach is like almost in front of it, just 50m to the right and you'll find the entrance to the spiagga libera. The Bagno Laura in front of the hotel is a private beach which has a great lunch buffet. We had most of our lunch there. Also in front of the hotel is Sunlight Waterpark; great for kids. The center is a short 5min walk up north and you'll find great restaurants everywhere. From the hotel, it took us only 30min with the car to get to Pisa. Bus stops are also just nearby if you want to go with public transpo. For the price, cleanliness, friendliness and the location, I'll give Euro Hotel anytime 5 stars! Thank you! …
Very good hotel in this lovely city of leaning tower. I loved the oranges that were growing on the trees outside the hotel. The vicinity was good and the staff are fluent in English. One shouldn't miss the street food on saturdays and sundays a few meters away from the place.
We stayed here for a night, with our group of 50 members. Hotel was well maintained with friendly staff, however the breakfast was not that good, specially for Indian guests like us, there was hardly anything except breads & bread variants.
The staff were lovely and spoke good English. We stayed here for a long weekend whilst visiting Pisa. We caught a bus (bus stop a few meters from hotel) into Pisa 2 euros and changed at the central square for another bus to the leaning Tower (Lam Rosso)./ Cathedral Square. The journey took about 40 mins including the change. You can of course order a taxi at reception if preferred. Pisa airport about 25 mins in taxi. The hotel is situated slightly back from the main road, but was quiet enough except on Sat night, early evening traffic. Continental breakfast and free coffee. Clean rooms. Across the road is Laura beach where you have to pay 20 euros for 2 beds but there is a public free beach about 50 meters down the road. Beautiful sandy beaches, and each private beach has good quality restaurants although a few more down the road if you are prepared to walk a little way. Would stay here for a weekend again.…
Located in Tirrenia this hotel we booked at the last minute because we decided to visit Pisa, on a trip to Tuscany. Located 25 miles south of Pisa along the coast is easily located and very convenient. The Rooms were clean, Bathrooms were nice. Ecellent service even though we were there in the off season.
Staying at Tirrenia, specifically at Euro Hotel over Easter (5 days) is definitely not the right choice. The hotel was booked for us in thinking that it was ideal to visit Pisa but it was not as close as expected especially since we had to use public transport, which service did not run late in the evening. Tirrenia proved to be like a ghost town in March and offering next to nothing for entertainment except some good restaurants. The hotel itself can more be described as a guest-house run by a young man assisted by a lady. The room was clean but as it was situated at the back, it was really no fun staying there for more than one night. The whole place is somewhat weathered. Breakfast was offered in a small room next to the small reception and consisted mainly of sweet pastries and bread accompanied by a hot drink, The stay proved to be OK but I don't think that it is a place I shall be returning to.…
