The hotel is about 10 min walks from the slops interconnecting 2 big skiing areas. Sestriere is the best place for skiing we visited until now. The rooms are small but clean. WiFi works well. SPA area is small but still consists of 2 types of sauna. The food is great. But the biggest advantage is the staff which is very friendly and helpful. Thank You Emiliano
Always a pleasure to stay at Hotel Sciatori. We have been coming here for about 6 years with friends and family. The same high standard has continued over the years. Great breakfasts and dinners. Wonderful place to end up after a day skiing. Staff are amazing.
Nice and cozy family hotel.Situated near the ski lifts.Warm and clean rooms.Very good and tasty food.Big variety of local and italian vines. The lobby is big and comfortable with big choice of soft and hard drinks and cocktails. The owner Emiliano is very helpful and friendly guy.Everything you need for your perfect ski vacation.Deeply recommend!
We made a last minute booking for this hotel online for a room with breakfast. As mountain accommodation goes the room was spacious. The balcony is not separated from the other rooms and we had a bunk-bed which actually came in handy to dump stuff on. Breakfast we really good with plenty of pastries and lovely home-made cakes, cold and cooked foods. 8 is maybe a little late to start breakfast at the hotel in a 15 min walk to the slopes and ski school and the infrequent minibus service to Sestriere leaves at 8:45. Half-board option is available and if taken all week is discounted. it was excellent value for three courses and lots of antipasti to snack on before the first course. Drinks at the hotel bar a reasonable and are offered up with lost of snacks. The spa has a steam room and sauna, with showers and seating to relax. We used it most days and they open it at 4:30. Wifi is available in the lounge but we did manage to get it in our room on the first floor. We hired skis and left our skis and boots in the shop near the lfit overnight at no extra cost. Shop was very helpful. Although convenient for the skiing Borgata is small with a couple of restaurants and few shops. If you want to go for a swim in Sestiere you can take the very infrequent public bus. The municipal pool which is open everyday from 12 has indoor and outdoor sections and is much bigger than the Olympic village pool which is tiny. They both cost 10 Euros. The town if full of shops and restaurants. You can of course ski here. The resort has lots of lovely quite runs. Black are like reds.…
We booked the French holiday and the place was a mess. Children and parents speaking all over. service was good and room were clean, small rooms though, thin walls you hear everything, don't expect vegetables for breakfast but maybe that's just Italy waiters seemed tired as there were only 2 for so many tables. It's located 10 minute walk away from ski rental shop ad ski school, they keep the skies over night. About 10 parking spots outside the hotel and a bunch more 5 min walk down the hill. Overall it was ok, not expensive eather
