Arrived 8th March pleasant surprise, check in smooth quick, big place but easy to find everything. Rooms nice and big, clean quite modern for Italy. TV just has local channels and no Wifi only minor gripe. Take a travel kettle as none available my top tip. Lovely balcony views of slopes and mountains, with boot rooms under each block, nice and easy out to slopes, 3 min walk to lifts. Village quiet but enough shops and bars with supermarkets ok for a week. Had to leave due to Covid 19 situation after 2 days unfortunately, but had a great one days ski, lovely slopes, quiet, big area and weather was perfect. Great position, nice apartments, will defo return.
I visit Olympic Residence with some trepidation after reading the reviews on trip adviser. The apartment was great for myself and my daughter but it would have been a bit tight for 4 adults. We loved the flexibility of self-catering and discovering local supermarkets and the butchers next door to Jolly supermarket. The Tuesday market is great, with lots of delicious food. The gym is excellent, I joined in the stretch classes which was great after a day skiing. The classes were in Italian but the instructor can speak good English as required. Take swimming hat and towel if you intend to use the pool.
I've been at the resort between January and February. Many things have changed since the last time I was there (last summer). The room was comfortable as usual but the management has really done a good job in leveling up all services, rendering the staying a pleasant time, both for adults and children. A new gaming room, a very well organized all-the-day-long program for boys and girls, from 3-years-old up to 17, including skiing and training! The reception.....but maybe the longest step forward was the animation team. All its members worked tightly together forming a very well harmonious group. I didn't lose any of their evening shows. In particular I feel to make a special mention to the fitness team, whom I spent many funny and fulfilling moments with. Matteo, Clarissa and Ludovica are both trustable professional and nice companions, I will hardly forget. Only one bad notice: the minisupermarket has been dismissed (!), but the staff don't despair to recover it at last. In conclusion, go to Villaggio Olimpico (winter and summer doesn't mind) and you'll not regret it!…
Stayed in 1 bed apartment for 4 days with two kids for family ski trip. Apartment was a single room with a partition (that doesn’t go up to ceiling) to create a bedroom area. There wasn’t even a kettle in the kitchen to make a cuppa, and no on site shop as advertised. Beds incredibly uncomfortable, no one slept well, not even the kids!! Didn’t speak to a single member of staff between check in and check out because you don’t see any staff!! The reception area is way too small for size of hotel so always queue of people waiting at reception, at all times. although hotel looks super close to the lift, it’s only reception/the front of house but that’s close. We were in the furthest block from the lift and so it was still a 10/15 min walk with Equipment, The photos online are of the reception area, when you leave reception you have to travel never ending corridors to your room that are bleak and chilly! And reminded me of university halls of residence and definitely not a hotel! Stayed in much nicer, friendlier, more convenient places, in both France and Italy, for a lot less money. Also beware the ski hire shop next to hotel a lot more expensive than those in the town. Due to flight delay we arrived at hotel very late and we didn’t research enough before we came, and that cost us around £120 extra on ski hire across 4 people for 4 days.…
