We travel a lot and this is the best experience in a boutique hotel we have ever had. The hotel itself is cozy and warm, tastefully decorated with great attention to detail.

The breakfast buffet offers a broad menu for such a small hotel, everything is fresh, and they make a perfect cappuccino. We stayed 7 nights and had dinner in the hotel for four nights because the food is so delicious and the restaurant so cozy, with great service.

The spa offers a variety of steam and dry saunas to choose from and also a heated pool, a wonderful way to end a day on the cold slopes.

The bar is cozy and offers a nice little fireplace to have a drink with a lovely view and top shelf drinks to choose from.
The best part of this hotel though is the customer service. Gregor, Astrid, their two sons, and their wonderful staff took really good care of us and asked after us daily to make sure we didn’t need anything.

We hope to go back sometime!

We are repeat customers at this beautiful little hotel. 4 stars yet intimate with very personal service. It is situated between Ciampinoi gondola and Costabella chairlift with easy access to the ski slopes. The hotel was, as usual, spick and span with a lovely mix of modern and traditional decor. Breakfast buffet was generous and delicious with an egg station-one of the best omelettes I have ever had. Dinner is served by tuxedo clad serve staff- dishes included beef, veal, rabbit, swordfish, sole and sea bass on various nights. Not to mention a chocolate fountain, crepes and cannoli for dessert. I would love to keep this gem to myself and other repeat customers (some of which have been coming for 30 years) but Astrid and Gregor should be known for who they are- wonderful hosts and hoteliers.

There is nothing to fault this hotel, from the friendly welcome, the service and the cleanliness is all perfect. The rooms are very well appointed, regardless of room type, and the hotel facilities and location for skiing and excess to the town is excellent. There are less expensive hotels, but none that I've tried in the area are as good as the Laurin. I thoroughly recommend.

My family and friends (4 children in our group) stayed 8 nights at The Laurin in January, and we had the most amazing time. The hotel is very well positioned for those skiing, right next to Ciampinoi gondola and Costabella chairlift. The rooms are spacious and well apointed, the indoor swiming poll is unique (all in stainless steel) and there is also a great relaxation area (adults-only) with different saunas. Both breakfast and dinner were terrific, with different options everyday. The Giorgio family was always present during our stay and all the staff were very kind and helpful, also accomodating with our kids.

The owners and hosts do everything they could do to make our stay wonderful. We originally booked for 2 nights but extended to 4 nights because it was so excellent.

Room was excellent.

Pool, saunas, steam rooms, spa etc. we're all terrific.

It has a small gym which was nice as most places don't have them.

Food / restaurants very good.

Location the best in town.

Skiing in and around Val Gardena is fun.

All in all VERY highly recommended. Hosts work so hard to make sure your stay is wonderful.

This is a family-hotel as it should be!
It started off well even before we arrived. We booked relatively late (2 weeks before arrival) two double rooms for us and our teenager kids, and we got an upgrade to the Junior Suite for the same price, because we couldn't get 2 rooms close to each other.

From the moment you arrive, the service and attention to detail is really amazing. Both the owners (who run the hotel) and the personel are extremely friendly and they always address you by your name, which is a nice touch.

We went in summer, and they don't serve dinner then, but there's plenty of great restaurants in the neighborhood.

The breakfast on the other hand is really amazing. The choice is really great. Cereals, meat & cheese, marmelades, pastries, bread, fruit, pancakes, eggs, anything you want and all top quality.

The same top quality as the rooms themselves, the beds, the bathroom. It really feels like being at home abroad.

And then there's the indoor swimming pool and fitness room (with Technogym equipment).

And finally there's free parking behind the hotel.

This really is a fabulous hotel which I can recommend for 100%

The Laurin is a small, beautiful hotel with a family-based staff who will take care of your every need. We enjoyed the extensive breakfast items offered each morning, the Friday night happy hour, and absolutely loved having a drink in their cozy bar after dinner. The only thing that was somewhat odd to us as Americans was the glass door on the bathroom. The toilet was directly next to the door, so there was little privacy if someone else was in the room. Other than that, we had a very comfortable, quiet stay at The Laurin and hope to return for more hiking in the Dolomites again.

Lucky enough to return after 4 years, if anything even better than I remembered. Family run and the care and attention to detail is superb. Wonderfully good service but friendly and relaxed. The spa is lovely, and the dining experience excellent. King suite this time, large very well appointed and very Laurin decor, eclectic mix of modern with traditional touches and a hint of James Bond. Ideally located for ski lifts it was a struggle to leave the room. This is what a hotel should be. A big thank you to Giorgi family for their care and hard work. Giulan Danke Grazie Mille.

Gregor and Astrid did everything to make us feel at home during our June stay at Hotel Laurin. They went above and beyond all expectations. From wonderful breakfasts to afternoon kuchen and aperitivo to nightcaps following a wonderful day of hiking, the atmosphere and hospitality could not be better. We enjoyed it so much we are booking a special return trip in September.

At check in we were greeted warmly and we’re pleasantly surprised to be given a complimentary room upgrade to a deluxe room.

Everything at this hotel is done to an extremely high standard. Warm hospitality, cleanliness, impeccable style, classic fabrics and finishes. The bedding was 5 stars. At breakfast the husband and wife team of owners and Laura served us graciously. The breakfast offerings were endless and all of a high standard and extremely fresh.

We were addressed by name through our stay which added a personal touch without being stuffy.

We spent 2 nights and totally enjoyed the property from our restful balcony overlooking the green hillside and red gondolas. We enjoyed lounging in the private garden next to the steam.

The location was perfect for us with an easy 5 minutes stroll to the town center. The bus stop was just opposite the hotel.

We stayed in quite a few hotels in this trip through Switzerland and Northern Italy and Hotel Lauren is definitely our favorite!!
