Simply put, this hotel shouldn't be open right now, and quite frankly it being open is extremely unfair to it's patrons.

I recently stayed at Hotel Miro in Savona for 4 nights, most of my trip to Italy I relyed on AirBnBs for a cheaper alternative to hotels. After 3 consecutive AirBnBs over almost 2 weeks, I was looking forward to being in a traditional hotel for a few nights, but the stay here ended up the worst of the trip.

I walked up to Hotel Miro to find the hostess sitting outside on a plastic chair, surrounded by construction material and fencing. She lead us into a lobby in complete disarray, exposed sheetrock and wiring, peeling back a plastic sheet covering a temporary welcome desk from dust and debris. She checked us in (although I was sure we were in the wrong place) and we went up to our room. We later found out the 3rd floor was the only "finished" floor semi ready for patrons.

Upon entering the room, it seemed a relief that there wasn't debris everywhere, but we soon found the rooms weren't at all ready either. The space behind our TV had insulation coming out, the fridge didn't even have a plug, the safe wasn't programmed for use, no in room amenities (i.e. coffee pot, iron, hair dryer, tissues) the sink drains weren't installed and after just 2 days, our air conditioning broke. Most of the day you could hear some form of drilling or hammering (which is fine since we weren't there) but it remains partially into the evening which gets aggravating as you attempt to relax.

Ontop of our unfinished room, the amenities they boast online aren't available, no restaurant, no bar, no pool. There aren't a ton of eating options in this part of Savona (city center 2 miles away) so it left us feeling even more inconvenienced to the point where we considered eating at Hotel Mare across the street.

To compensate they offered breakfast every morning, which was a myriad of cheap breads and cereals, just not enough to make up the difference.

On the plus side is Hotel Miro's staff. They were always in a positive mood especially considering they are working in the same condition we were trying to live in.

All in all Hotel Miro wouldn't have been a terrible stay, but unfortunately due to its current condition no one should stay here without calling them first. With busy season coming, it would be a shame to be on vacation stuck in an unfinished hotel for more than a few days. Having said that, we would come back to this hotel, if it we're completed because the staff was a pleasure to interact with.

Ok for a place to stop on a road trip. Closet sized elevator. But most memorable was the glass enclosure shower in the bedroom or maybe it was that the bed was in the shower room? I’ve traveled a lot but this was a first.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 days and picked this hotel due to its location , easy to reach the freeway and easy to get to many other locations. Whilst this town is is nice but mainly a port city, there is some amazing areas close by.
The hotel is roomy, the staff are fantastic and the rooms, modern, clean and VERY comfortable. The breakfast whilst fairly simple, there is enough to enjoy and start your day right. Free parking out the front and across the road from the beach. There is a small pool, nice terrace and small but well stocked bar.
Would we stay there again, yes, most certainly.
If your in this area, this is a very pleasant, comfortable and friendly hotel.

Hotel was clean and modern and reception was helpful. Restaurant though was terrible. Service very poor. Long waiting time, no greeting, had to remind to bring water, bread. Ran out of knives and they weren't refilled for 1/2 an hour. Felt like we were in the way and unwelcome. Waiter seemed angry. Food choice on breakfast buffet limited to mostly cakes and pastries.

WIFI shocking the day i was here, room with ok with balcony which was a bonus. Out of town so without transport it would be a pain. Room i was in certainly doesn't look like the one in the main photo here but acceptable.
