The Agritourismo La Razza achieves a nice balance between luxury and a real working farm. Dinner was excellent. The rooms are spacious and pleasant. It has a lovely pool area. While we were there an enlargement of the guest rooms was underway, so they must be doing well. Get out of the cities and stay on a farm while you are in Emilia Romagna but you'll want to stay for more than one night.

We would have stayed longer had we not been plagued by flies.
About a mile from the main road.
8 spots for motorhomes on grass.
Nice views.
20€ a night includes electricity.
Swimming pool an additional 8€ per person (!) per day.
One male and one female toilet and shower about 150 metres from the parking spots.
Restaurant run separately.
Pen with goats, pigs, sheep and a donkey probably responsible for the flies.

My husband and I stayed here for only one night. It was included in a bicycle tour we took and we are so thankful it was. We will be back.

It is a stop that should never be missed. It is run by people that have such a devotion to their craft. Everything is perfect, from the accommodations, to the staff....and the food is beyond incredible.

The owner, Paulo and his wife Cecilia and son Michele are very special people that will make you feel as if you are at home.

The dinner we had was fabulous; the potato ravioli, salad, pork and the steak (seriously, the best steak we’ve ever had) is all divine. Everything is organic and grown on their farm. I cannot express how fantastic it is. They even make their own liqueur.

We will definitely be back for a longer stay. We slept so good out on the farm!!
Thank Denise S

I only stayed for 1 night unfortunately. Really, try to stay for more. The hotel has a separate house for the guests, downstairs you can get breakfast, that is typically Italian with lots of sweet cookies instead of healthy food.
The restaurant was closed on Monday, so I couldn't enjoy it.
There is a beautiful swimming pool with resting area, don't forget your bathing suit. Also for children there is a little farm with farm animals.
If you want to enjoy the quiet life of Italy, this is the place to come and enjoy.

La Razza was recommended by friends who live in Reggio. It is the perfect agriturismo location on a former dairy farm. There is a main restaurant building and within walking distance there are rooms to rent in a modernized farm house with a view of the vineyards that surround the property. There are farm animals, swimming pool and walking paths. The restaurant food is outstanding and the products are farm produced. The best place to buy Reggio Parmesan cheese and Salami. This is a great place to bring children for the day or for a few days to see a real farm.
Thank Nancy K
