I had an wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was incredibly comfortable and spotless, which relaxed our stay. The service was also impeccable—every staff member we encountered was attentive and friendly, going above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant experience. Very nice place to visit with kids, the residence is not far from the lift and it is only a few minutes to the city centre and swimming pool. Parking spaces and ski depot is available, staff is very friendly and the rooms are nice and exceptionally clean.

We stayed here for skiing half term and it is a superb find. It’s extremely good value for a family - the apartments are very big and fully equipped. There is a supermarkets in town with the caveat that the apartment comes with nothing at all not even salt or butter so you need to get everything. It is an easy 5 minute walk into town, quite a bit harder coming back because it’s up a steep hill. The nearest lift is seceda which is also about 5 minutes walk, only a small uphill but not bad. If you have a car (there is parking) it’s easier as you can drop off skis. There is a free bus provided by the municipality that passes nearby There’s also a full heated ski room. .
We used the local taxi to the further lifts like Selva which was expensive but very useful.
The team are helpful and if you need suggestions for restaurants or taxis etc they are very happy to help.
I was initially thinking to award 4 stars because I would prefer a location nearer the ski lift but then in Ortisei most places, even the top hotels involve a bit of a walk, so it gets 5.

Vacationing with  husband in January. Everything would have been fine, but suddenly at the end of the stay, the hostess demanded that we pay 760 euros for the fact that the hot pot in which we brewed coffee left a small yellow mark on the desktop, covered with plastic. Our stay at the Villa Stella was absolutely lovely, upon our arrival we were greeted by the very friendly staff and then upgraded for free to a room with a balcony (the view is insane). Clean and quiet, with lots of nice amenities like a cute little coffee corner and a bread delivery to our door each morning. The location is excellent as well, a short walk into the town center or to the cable cars/funicular that will take you up to your next adventure in the mountains. The kitchenette was stocked with lots of pots and pans and dishes making it easy to cook some of our meals instead of eating out every meal. All of the staff were lovely and very helpful. Would highly recommend a stay here if you are planning a trip to the Dolomites!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Residence Villa Stella. Karin, the proprietor, was very helpful and communicative leading up to our reservation. The location is tucked away (uphill) from the main part of Ortisei town and very close to the shopping areas and the Seceda chair lift. We stayed in one of the lower level apartments which opened up to a patio and provided scenic views. The kitchen was optimal--newly updated with all the necessary appliances and utensils that made a couple of nights staying in and cooking dinner very convenient. It was very clean and comfortable for 3 adults. I would highly recommend this place and would love to stay here again when revisiting the area. Thank you Karin and team.

Fantastic experience, we were 10 people and 1 dog, in apt 43, 46 and 50. Very clean, in perfect shape, cosy, good amenities, convenient for skiing and for a stroll in town. Available in the hall are Free coffee, tea , and warm drinks, with biscuits. Very friendly people, we stayed there 4 years ago , happy to have chosen villa Stella , we will go back next year!

We have already stayed in this Residence and we returned because we had a great time. This year the apartment was even more beautiful and comfortable. The location of the structure is strategic, close to several ski lifts as well as several walks to do on foot. Excellent cleaning and the owner with her collaborator are welcoming and polite people, always ready to support you in case of need. Experience to repeat returning to Ortisei.
