After our visit the previous year, we came again. Helpful staff, clean hotel, everything is very nice. Ski room is easy to use. Rooms are also good, but some of them have issues with wifi and they can sometimes be very hot. Nevertheless, we were happy about our visit again, we are hoping to come back next year🙏

We stayed for 5 nights during the last week of September and our first time in the Dolomites. It was centrally located in town and the bus stop is just in front of the hotel. It was in a great location where everything is close by. We walked everywhere which was great especially after a long hike in the Val Gardena mountains. We ate dinner in restaurants close by. At check in, the reception gave us a transportation pass that was good for public transportation which we used a lot to get around Val Gardena so we just left our car in the parking lot. We knew ahead of time that we had to pay for parking and the garage is just next to the hotel. The staff were awesome and very friendly. The breakfast was very filling and they offered a variety of food and drinks. I typically don’t eat pastries and the croissants were delicious. The servers at breakfast were the best and they serve coffee/cappuccino fresh. We used the jacuzzi everyday after our hike and it was a plus especially since it had beautiful Mountain View and the cable cars going up to Alpe di Suisi. We had a standard room with a good view of the city center. It was surprisingly quiet at night. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again.

We stayed in spotlessly clean Room 30 on the top floor which had a wide view of the cable cars going up the mountain, just beautiful. It had everything we needed (including a community refrigerator and kettle on each floor). The hotel is located right in the middle of town within walking distance to everything. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially with deciding what to do each day and assessing the weather. One day we took the Seceda cable car to the top and walked a bit, the next day we drove a circle around the mountains through exquisite scenery, and the third day we took the Aloe di Suisi cable car up to the biggest Alpine meadow in Europe and walked around there. The staff directed is to wonderful restaurants as well (the hotel’s restaurant was not open yet). Breakfast is free and plentiful. Reasonably priced parking is adjacent to the hotel. We couldn’t have asked for more.

Ortisei is expensive, so this is likely a good deal if you want to be in the center and don't mind noise, but I did not find this a comfortable hotel. The rooms reminded me of a hostel. The bed was hard, and the walls were very thin, so we could hear EVERYTHING. Sleep was impossible without earplugs. The wifi was so slow that you couldn't even browse webpages. The staff were super nice and friendly, and the location is great in the center of downtown. Parking is available in a nearby garage for about EUR10/day.

The hotel is just on the bus station but there is no road noise inside the rooms. Room was bit small but bathroom was spacious. Beds comfortable.

Staff were very helpful. Breakfast standard and good.

There are good restaurants around and all cable cars stations nearby.

Overall, I loved Ortisei and will visit again and will definitely stay at this hotel next time.

The hotel is in a central location with an easy walk to restaurants, bars, and cable cars. My room on the top floor was comfortable. Breakfast was very good, but note it’s continental so not many hot options.

The hotel’s location on the main square can bring some outside noise. Especially since you’ll need to open the windows for cool air at night. The windows also don’t have any blinds/curtains, so you’ll get the morning light and may also give the neighbors a show. Staff wasn’t great - I had to ask three times to get directions to their car park and, despite offering to recommend hikes based on the weather, he wasn’t actually interested in doing so.

All in all, a reasonable option in Ortisei. Despite these issues, I would stay here again if the price is right.

Hotel located in the central square. Great full service from reception to great breakfast included. The dog is accepted without complaints and costs 15 euros per day which compared to the average 35 euros in Trentino is very affordable. Hotel has parking at the back which costs 7.60 euros per day.
Cleanliness is perfect and the room spacious.
Being on the central square a bit noisy but with the windows closed the noise disappears perfectly.

Hotel Garni Snaltnerhof is a lovely place to stay in Ortesei. It is perfectly located in the center of town at Piazza San Antonio, only a few steps from the bus stop. Our room was clean and bright with a good sized bathroom and shower. Breakfast is included and was absolutely delicious!! The staff is friendly and helpful and always available for restaurant recommendations, suggestions and tips about the area. Many thanks to Peter and the whole team for taking such good care of us! We hope to return someday!

Great location (centrally located), nice spacious rooms, excellent breakfast :-) A charcuterie shop right next door so you can buy things to eat during your hikes. The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful, as were all the staff we crossed paths with :-).
Our goal was hiking and we were very happy with our 5 night stay here.
You can easily walk to several lifts, cable cars, or furnicular to begin each day exploring yet another spectacular part of Val Gardena. Local buses to/from other towns are right outside the hotel.
