If you are considering a family ski vacation with kids, look no further. This hotel is as good as it gets. I was born in Aspen, CO and grew up skiing in Aspen/Snowmass. I always thought Snowmass cant be beat. But this place might have just done that. The hotel is beautiful and as so charming. The room set up with a semi-private nook for out 3 and 6 year olds got them super psyched. Morning breakfast with live piano music and visits by the mouse character Lino gets you in the right mood for the day. Then u walk 2 minutes (in your PJs if you wish) to drop off your kids at ski school in the hotel premises. They will take your kids skiing for a few hours, then bring them back to the baller daycare center called Linoland. They will transition your kids without the need for u to come down from the slopes. The kids will have a blast, as Linoland has everything you could wish for. Football field, climbing wall, compressed air nerf canons on a pirate ship, princess castle, etc etc. it is such a marvelous place our kids couldnt get enough of it. The kids club is open till 10pm, so you can drop them off if u want to go visit the spectacular spa facilities. Sauna and baths like you are in ancient rome. The pool grounds are top notch with something for everybody. Literally the best kids pool with super soft floors and endless fun on the 3 water slides. The skiing is also great, as you have access to endless terrain. And the food on the mountain is as good as eating in any other italian town. It just cant be beat. Loved everything about Cavallino Bianco. We will be going every year while we live in Europe.

We came with my 13m old daughter and my wife. Will definitely be back!

Highlights:

1. I don’t normally like “all inclusive” experiences but the food and service were both excellent;

2. We were able to drop my daughter each day at the kids centre while we skied. The staff really looked after her and we felt confident leaving her in good hands each day;

3. So many details the hotel has thought of for kids and babies - changing tables and cribs built into the room, items to borrow (pram, humidifier, bottle warmer, more...), pool area for even very young babies, Hipp and other baby food available in the dining room, much more;

4. Awesome adult only spa area. Love the sauna “infusion”

5. Free ski tours with a knowledgable local guide. We enjoyed a day trip and a half day trip and met other guests in the hotel;

6. Well presented and clean rooms. Everything is new and well maintained;

Points for improvement:

1. Our room was externally hot (24 C) even with the heat off. Staff were not able to resolve the problem and apparently we were not the only guests who had this issue. It is a management policy? We often slept with the window open either temperatures outside <0 C.

Ignore the negative reviews here as they are frankly ridiculous. This is a wonderful hotel for parents with kids from 1 - 10 years old. While CB offers much for adults and teens this is not the focus. There are better options if you don’t intend to take advantage of everything the hotel has for 1 - 10 year olds (or don’t want to be around so many young children).

This is our third time here with our 4 kids! The hotel and staff are very professional and friendly and kindhearted. We enjoyed the family pool, spa services for kids and adults and the hikes around the hotel that are easy and kid/ family friendly. The kids enjoyed the lino show each night. The rooms are clean and well kept each day! Clean towels for swimming and showering each day. Family suites available for a family of six which makes the experience so much sweeter to be in one room together. Free stroller rentals for younger kids to bring on the easy mountain hikes. Good quality strollers that move smoothly on the stoney hike paths! Overall we love Cavallino bianco! The food at breakfast and dinner is top notch! It is a 3 course dinner meal with four premade menus to pick from.
From Mediterranean menu / alpine menu/ vegetarian menu and a lino menu that could be for kids but also for adults. You can mix and match the courses to find your “ideal foods” the kids love the soft ice cream machine! It is a grand family hotel top notch! You won’t regret spending special family time in this beautiful hotel and surroundings!

We used to go years ago, when my children were younger and the experience was good. The team that works with younger kids is amazing, they really work hard to entertain the kids, and they play a key role in the hotel experience. Also the gym, fully renovated has one great star teacher, Camila, she is there all day to take you for nordic walks, teach you pilates, yoga, she is an amazing professional.
Food was not at the standards - we paid 13/14k euro, for 6 days, and food was poor, the fact that it is a hotel for smaller kids you find difficult to find a peaceful table at any time., not to talk to go for a swim And did find many unfriendly staff during our stay, strange as this area is very well known for its magnificent hospitality,
We did some treatments, but therapist were not at the top as we could have imagined.
There was something missing in this hotel,i would recommend it only if you have kids up to 10 years old, if not it is not worth the costs.

We have stayed at Cavallino 2 times in the summer holiday. The service here is exellent, lots of activities for the whole family. The food is outstanding! Rooms are modern and very well equipped. The perfect location in the Dolomites, makes it possible to hike, bike in the most beautiful nature. This is really my Happy Place.

We have been in several family ski luxury hotels, which have been great, but cavallino bianco is untoppable and just perfect. The kids had a great time, fantastic kidsclub, many children to play with, great swimming pools/SPA. Food was excellent for grown-ups and Kids. As the children are picked up right in the hotel by the skischool and delivered back right into the kidsclub in the afternoon, the parents can enjoy skiing as well and do not have to worry sbout picking them up in time.
The hotel is a luxury hotel, and so has a luxury price, but the service and the fasntastic facilities make itv worth the price.

We spent 3 fantastic nights at this luxurious family hotel. The hotel is superbly appointed and offers activities for parents and children of all ages. Round the clock childcare and a huge and well-equipped baby and children´s play area, playground, pool and even a petting zoo keep the little ones busy. Our teenagers enjoyed billards, table football, PlayStation and the well-equipped fitness area. As parents, we especially loved the fitness, pool and sauna area, the excellent massage and the yummy breakfasts! The bike center equipped us with ebikes and recommended a fantastic tour on the lovely Seiser Alm. I cannot end this review without complimenting the staff - the service was excellent, from the front desk staff to the beauty center to the servers who work tirelessly in the restaurant. Overall, it was a great family getaway and I can recommend it highly to families with kids of all ages!

Amazing hotel and perfect for skiing! Great spa, indoor and outdoor pools, linoland that’s not just for small kids, my 11 year old loved playing football and the staff were so friendly, they even organised a football tournament. Special mention to Davide (dado) and Gigi. The quality of food in the restaurant is second to none. Silvie is super efficient with high attention to detail, Oscar at the egg counter was always friendly and always calm in a very high pressure and demanding counter. Infusions with Patrick and Nadia are amazing, something we looked forward to every day. Everyone at the reception were very friendly and helpful, especially when my son was unwell and when our flights were cancelled. Booking the hotel was also super easy - thanks to Klaus. Cristina at the ski school is so helpful and efficient. Last but not the least, the housekeeping do an amazing job, especially when my son was unwell in the middle of the night. They sorted everything out quickly. This hotel is a must visit!!! Over and over again.

Large pool area with slides for small kids. Rooms are clean and offer anything a family needs. The restaurants offer delicious meals for the parents but also simple yet tasty pasta, pizza, etc. for the young guests.
The hotel is located next to the cable car station.

It was a pleasant stay. Staff/food/organization/location were amazing. The rooms were nice, clean and fully equipped for your child. A small gift for your child was also included with the price. Highly recommend for the BBQ in Alpi di Siusi.
