We stayed here for a week. Plus points: friendly staff, clean room, parking available plus a nice courtyard where you can relax on the available sunbeds,
good dinners, quite close to the center of Ortisei
Points against: hotel almost completely in need of renovation, only the bathroom was new, old carpets and rugs everywhere, so cleaning can never be done thoroughly.
The photos of the buffet that you see on the various sites are not the reality... I have never seen it so abundant and varied. It was more sparse and repetitive. Ditto for breakfast: in a week, in addition to various jams, yoghurt, etc.. for dessert there was always brioche with jam, with chocolate and industrial plum cake... every morning! For 7 days..Never once a homemade cake! Unacceptable! I would say that for what you pay, which is not a little, you need to offer more!
The indoor pool, despite being heated, had cold water. Unusable for me.
Lastly, I noticed that very few people were staying in the very large hotel. The one next door, more expensive, was full.
Does he even want to say something?
The price must be related to the offer
It's a shame because it would have so much potential

The review for this hotel cannot ignore the evaluation of the quality/price ratio. I booked out of necessity (last availability) from Booking and, undoubtedly, the price was not exorbitant. We returned after about 8 years, the review at the time was 4 stars. If I could I would have to remove half a star (or maybe one), but I want to be good. Other reviews have also highlighted that the hotel needs modernisation, a "clean up", which is true and I believe necessary. The catering needs to be reviewed, waiters are efficient and kind. Nothing to complain about cleanliness. The receptionist, unfairly criticized by others, works hard and moves to the restaurant in the evening to "complete" the day. The ways of doing things, perhaps "harsh", reflect the frankness of the places, but I consider them preferable to falsely kind ways that tend to give you an unpleasant trick. There is a useful shuttle service to the base of the cable cars. Then, the beauty of the places does the rest. In short, even if the review is positive, I believe that greater attention to detail and "finishing" might not hurt. We will be back? Perhaps.

I'm staying in a quadruple room with 2 bathrooms, we are 2 adults with 2 children, the hotel is very comfortable near the enchanting Ortisei, reachable with a walk. The hotel's private shuttle takes you to and from nearby slopes (very convenient). the hotel has a very large swimming pool with panoramic windows, Turkish bath and sauna. Dinner is excellent and breakfast too. The room is spacious and is a quadruple with 2 bathrooms. I recommend it, it's a three star. I read bad reviews and I was a little scared. The photos on the site are true. I recommend it for the price.

We stayed here with the dog and baby, the room was large, with a very practical furnished entrance to store jackets and shoes, umbrellas, backpacks, etc. Large bathroom with bidet, tub, towels, everything very clean. The beds are comfortable and of good quality, spacious. We slept very well. The brunch is generous and fresh, there is everything you could ask for: croissants, fresh bread, cereal, different types of milk, meat, salads, and the waiters are very friendly, always willing to help. The best thing is the service: I forgot some shoes and they did me the favor of sending them back to me by mail at no cost. If we return to Ortisei, we will return to this place. Thanks for everything!

I stayed at the Rodes Hotel from December 30th to January 1st in a single room paid €416.
Very dated room with peeling walls and a draft of cold air coming in from the window that looks directly onto the bed.
At 8 in the morning the maid knocks on the door to make up the room, staff at the reception are rude to the point of rudeness.
Check out at 10am,
At 9.59 am I am called to the room and I am told "can you come down to pay the bill because I have to leave".
I strongly advise against this hotel, if you want to rest and be treated kindly don't go there.

I booked a single room with a group 3 months before my stay, upon arrival they gave me a double room for single use, number 311, of a significantly lower standard than the others in the hotel, it was in the attic, not accessible by lift, broken and very dated furniture. wardrobe had plywood shelves...In the bathroom the tub was chipped
On the day of departure, when I saw the other empty rooms, I asked for a discount, pointing out that my room was not 3-star but it was not applied to me. Just enough kitchen, helpful and kind dining room staff, excellent cleanliness but not enough to recommend it and come back especially pay attention to the rooms in the attic

We stayed 5 days in the week of August and the location one km from Ortisei allowed us to live in a cooler and more relaxed climate.
Very pleasant the very large indoor pool with a beautiful view.
Excellent cuisine and caring Maria Cristina, precise and friendly Elizabet at reception.
Spacious and clean room with a beautiful balcony to breathe the regenerating air of the beautiful Dolomites.
We will definitely be back.

Old style hotel, remained about 40/50 years ago, Great nice green space with pet games for children, and deckchairs
Equipped with outdoor and indoor pool facilities sauna and Turkish bath.
Nice spacious rooms.
Reception staff decidedly not pleasant.
Room staff good guys / and but wandered from week to week.
They often argued with the kitchen, making sure that in the room there was total silence...
Dirt under tables (remnants of previous days never swept)
The kitchen wasn't bad in all that chaos.
Albetgo completely to review, starting from who hosts customers.
Too bad because it would be in a Top place.

We stayed at this property for five days. Slightly on the outskirts but with a bus stop in front of the entrance, we have always moved on foot because in ten minutes you arrive in the center and you can admire breathtaking landscapes. We immediately felt welcomed; the staff was always very courteous and ready to meet our needs. Excellent cuisine, with always different courses, vegetable buffet and abundant desserts. Comfortable and spacious room for us who were four with two bathrooms always spotless. The indoor pool is very large and with large windows with a beautiful view.
Positive experience, highly recommended hotel! Ci ritorneremmo volentieri!
