This is a lovely, small, family-run hotel in a great central location in Montecatini. It’s just a short walk to all the shops bars and restaurants. Another great advantage is the provision of locked, free, overnight parking at the sister hotel- parking is at a premium in town.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel, the rooms were clean and had everything we needed. Some of the other reviews that I read surprised me - just saying that we had a great experience and would definitely go back. There was a nice little bar in the lobby and a back room with a

We were part of a tour package and San Marco Hotel was included in our package. The rooms were very dated, but clean, the daily breakfast was average. The room we stayed in had two twin beds and a head board that kept falling onto our beds if it wasn’t propped up properly. Room

We once again stayed at the Hotel San Marco- always return here when in Tuscany. The location is great, next to the park with access to the funicular up to Alto, and not far from the town center, restaurants, and train station. The staff is friendly and courteous, and the

Sorry I missed your question earlier. Do not expect complimentary toilette supplies. Of course they supply the necessary hand soap, but otherwise plan on either buying it there or bringing with you. There is a grocery store not too far from the hotel.

Hi! Yes, there was a hairdryer...you'll need to bring a 110 voltage converter if you want to bring a straightener. Make sure you bring an external cell phone battery pack as you will need to rely on your phone gps for everything! Use google maps to guide you to the hotel, as Apple maps will have you going in circles. Happy to answer any other questions. We had a great time,

yes.

Yes, very easy. I kept my car in the lot most of the time while I was there. Take advantage of the free parking! The trains are great. You can buy a Eurailpass before you go to make it even more seamless. Don't purchase first class tickets as I did though, turned out that the Trenitalia that I used had no first class!

I bought a Eurailpass and it made life very easy for me. It was unlimited for 4 days. Learn from my one mistake though- I decided to splurge and purchase first class tickets. To my surprise, the Trenitalia trains that I took had no first class! Could've saved a few euros...Other than that, the trains were the best way to go!
