We spent 5 nights at the beginning of November 2018. The building was elegant and well kept, the rooms a reasonable size with a very large comfortable bed. Lovely communal areas. We had a balcony overlooking the pool, but due to weather couldn't use it unfortunately. The staff

Location and staff could not have been better. Every single person seems to want to make the stay perfect. Rooms are clean though small, perfectly adequate. A wonderful little hotel just a short walk to the town center.

Do you have in room hair dryers?
European hair dryers are not like those in the U.S. They're not very powerful, so you may not be happy with them if you have thick hair. I have short, thin hair and still travel with my own--which switches from 110 to 220 and can be used in Europe.

Good evening, thank you for contacting us. We can organize a transfer from Florence airport to our hotel. The cost of the service is € 110 one way. To confirm the service we need to know in advance the flight details. We remain at your disposal for any other information. Best regards, Oxana

How is the funicular within walking distance from the hotel or would we need a taxi?
i took the funicular but i believe we went there on the tour bus...i do think it would have been walkable however...best to check the hotel website and look for a map of the area...my memory of all that is a bit foggy now since we spent so much time going to other places as well...all of Italy is a feast for the eyes!
