Second time visiting, having a 10 night stay, and cannot fault a thing on either visit. The last one being 7 nights. Rooms are very clean, decor is in kind of where you are. Continental breakfast has so much to choose from, and a big shout to Gianni and his team in the restaurant as they work so hard, yet still make you feel welcome and wanted. Reception staff very helpful, and whenever you ask a question always give you the best service in answering and also checking you know the correct price for tickets for transport, taxis etc, as not to get overcharged. Rooms are very nice, and the housekeeping team are very friendly and do a brilliant job. From top to bottom, all the staff are brilliant, friendly, and even snacks and drinks from the bar are very reasonable in price. Cannot wait to go back. Lastly very special thank you to Mauricio, who after a family members flight was cancelled helped us enormously and changed arrival date free of charge for us and made us very welcome. My wife's 60th birthday with fruit and prosecco in the room was the icing on the cake, fresh fruit and plenty of it. Thank you all and see you soon.…
My friend and I had a pleasant stay at this hotel and I would definitely recommend as a cheaper alternative when booking a trip to Venice. The rooms are as they are in the photos - clean, but fairly fairly small, but have everything needed for somewhere to stay and get ready before heading into Venice. The location of the hotel is ideal - the tram and bus stop are a 3 minute walk from the hotel and the tram takes a maximum of 20 minutes to get into a Venice. Tram price is 3€ return - amazing! The breakfast at the hotel is perfect, beautiful pastry’s (as shown in the photo!) and meats, cheeses, bread and yoghurts. Perfect coffee machine and juices. The staff on reception were extremely helpful and polite - thank you for a wonderful stay!
Fantastic hotel, near the centre of Mestre and the bus stop to Venezia. Amazing rooms, delicious breakfast, kind staff. Comfortable beds. It is very good live in Mestre because only a few tourist, and we can see how live there the italian people.
Exellent location near main city square and many restaurants, bars and shoping stores. Parking is free. Breakfast is poor. Room is small. Some of rooms got a terrace. Reception work all time. Near tram to Venice.
We stayed here for 2 nights pre-covid. The hotel is decorated in a lovely typical venetian style. Rooms were clean and comfortable. They were also quiet which is such an important thing. We had pre-booked and paid for the room for 2 adults and a 1 year old and on arrival we were made to pay €20 a night extra which was non-negotiable for them to place a cot in the room which was slightly distasteful. Also be aware as with all Venice hotels there is a small per room tourist tax (we paid €9 for 2 nights). The location is excellent, it is right by the bus and tram stops so easy access from the airport and also to get to the centre of Venice. It is also located close to lots of shops and restaurants which was such a bonus and lovely to walk around in the evening and have a tasty pizza and gelato. Food at breakfast was enjoyable, something for everyone. I would recommend anyone going to Venice and not wanting or able to stay in the centre to stay in this lovely hotel.…
Good location for exploring Venice (close to tram and bus to Venice but also close to the bus station for both airports), nice and clean room, good breakfast, very nice and helpful personnel, especially at the reception - among the nicest I have ever met. The only downside would be the bathroom, which is quite small.
I would definately stay at this hotel again. It is beautifully decorated in old Venetian style. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was great and the staff were really friendly and helpful. This is the best area of Mestre to stay in. The buses and trams for Venice are nearby. You can buy tickets from reception for the vaporetto in Venice. The airport bus number 15 stops just around the corner on the main road. The train station is about is about a mile away, we got the tram there and went to Verona for the day. (I wouldn't stay in a hotel in the area near the train staion, I felt uneasy at night)
I stayed at this hotel for one night. The rooms are very small and cramped but it is beautiful. They use red and gold duvets and have patterned wallpaper. We were not happy with the bathroom, however. The shower is not raised - it is flat on the floor and there is no shower door, only a shower curtain. Please be sure to carry a travel plug if you're coming from another country. The breakfast was really good and we enjoyed a variety of pastries and cakes. You can purchase tram tickets from reception, which is very convenient.
Although we didn't have a chance to stay at this hotel we did stop at 4 some drinks and took a small tour. They are nicer hotels in the Venice area but at under $100 a night you really can't beat this one. Maybe they don't have all the services some of the fancier places do but, it has a real charm to it. Kind of old school
Very good and welcoming hotel. Polite service, good food, free wifi and excellent staff. Near to buss and tram station to go to Venice island. It offers local guide and tickets to visit sights and museums around Mestre. Located in center of Mestre with good restoranta and bars near by.
