The room was dirty when we checked in. We arrived early before check in time, and we left our things in the lobby and went to the city. We went back at night and we waited a long time to get out key card, and when we got to the room it was dirty. The fridge smell horrible, and there were stains in it. On the table were bread crumbs and over all it wasn't clean. The bathroom wasn't easy to shower in because there was no curtain and the water was everywhere
Dirty bathrooms, scratched bed furniture, no air conditioning when outside it’s 30 Celsius and very rude personnel which is swearing you in Italian when you complain. Very far from Venice and train station. I guess how it got 4 stars, it doesn’t deserve even 1.
We are only writing this now as took this long to sort out problems with our travel agent! Firstly a long way out of Venice but close to bus stop. This hotel did not advise of extensive building work and we point blank refused to stay in first room as dirty with stained sheets at no time was we advised of building work! After 3 hrs got another room with a promise of a better one the next day I would class these as a generous 2 star maximum. We had limited time in Venice and this impacted heavily! Each room change we had to move bags, there is a mini fridge (empty except mould) no tea making facilities in room. Due to work the whole of the outside was covered in scaffold planks and netting and second day builder looking straight into our room from scaffolding (he saw my husband coming out of shower thank goodness not me). Breakfast was rubbish and cold and very limited before 8am. The male receptionist was helpful whereas the older lady was dam right rude. We tried to move first day with no can do from our agent and as we had limited time with lots to see we had to put up or miss out on what we had planned to do in Venice. I would not recommend this hotel and would say try to swap if you can! It’s the worse hotel I’ve ever had the displeasure to stay in.…
The hotel supplied some odd paper slippers in the room but no tea making equipment ,if you arrived back at the hotel expecting to have a drink in the lounge with friends think again, the bar shuts at ten no matter how many guests there are.The rooms are average but the breakfast very good.
Location is OK if you don’t mind a 20 min standing room only bus journey into Venice. One Reception Staff not overly minded to be helpful. He is very charming but seems to do as little as possible. Our room was tiny - it looked like the annex to a family room. He refused to change it even though we’d paid the same as our friends. He also shut the bar at 10pm even though 20 plus resident guests were waiting to be served. Don’t try to park in the car park spaces at the front, as there is a strange arrangement whereby coaches turn up every evening and park outside the hotel but all the people go into the Chinese restaurant next door. We counted at least 10 coaches in one hour! Hotel guests had no chance! Final reason for poor rating is no tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms. Would not recommend this hotel.…
Apogia was a great hotel for our quick trip to Venice. Our room was comfortable, mattress comfortable, bathroom was excellent with bidet and toilet and new shower. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The bus that goes directly to Venice was 2 blocks away and returned to same location. This for 3€ each/return. Same bus takes you to train station at the end of the long street. The exterior was under construction so we had no window view nor open the window. This was unexpected but I would still highly recommend this hotel for services, staff and convenience of location.
It’s the worst staff hotel I never saw in all my life!!! The hotel is well, restaurant and buses close to the hotel. The staff looks like friendly but they are crooks, be careful! They charged me too much price for the restaurant and I told them since last 10 July 2019 and every week I have to call back them to know what about my refund? And they tell me every time we will do that, but today still nothing! So I spend a lot of money to call back them every week, so I already lost more 80 euros to call back them!!! So I advice every body to never, never eat anything in their restaurant and check every bills they will give you (2 times) before paid anything! So I advice everybody to make your way to another hotel to avoid being fooled like me! I will contact a lawyer!
Cute town close to airport. Staff were friendly, especially Elisa, Pino and Marta. Great rooms, with free breakfast, lots of choices. Gluten free food as well. Had dinner in restaurant of hotel, great food.
We got to the hotel al 13:45, the room was ready. The leather furniture showed marks of old age and tear but the room and the sheets were clean and nice smelling. Breakfast was ok, plenty of options to choose from, the only disapoinment was that the only coffee came from an nescafe machine and was instant coffee. I expected to drink real Italian espresso and capuccino, not instant coffee. The bus stop is 2 min walk and it takes you to Venice in 20 minutes.
First impression was shocked as the entire building was under construction. When we checked-in our room there was a contractor just outside the window working and make noise. They are finally gave as a room that was in a bungalow on the back side of the main building with a horrible ventilation system. Breakfast was good. When we checked out the receptionist did not ask us if we had a good time or if we liked the room. You guys have to care more for your services and you must let your costumers know for your renovation.
