We stayed for two weeks again and really enjoyed our stay. great staff looking after us in the evenings, lots to do locally and our villa was very well presented. We met some great people and enjoyed spending time in the local villages too. Highly recommended!
I stayed for a week here in one of the two bedroom villas. The villa was quite spacious 45sq M with a patio at the front. Pools were excellent and staff v friendly. Only ate once at the hotel and we were very happy. Hotel is between Nimes and Montpellier and both towns are worth a visit. The Grand Mot is nearby. TIP. You need a car to make most of your stay
For a place that is well situated The grounds were very run down and not very well maintained. With high grass and weeds growing up in many places. We asked for help for my disabled wife. Just for simple car access to apartment to drop and collect her. One person said at reception he could not get access key. Later we met another reception staff and said it was not allowed. Very disappointed with their attitude and lack of compassion. I hope they have to experience this situation with one of their own family members.
We have visited Les Jasses for the past few years and love it. It is in a great location with so much to do right on the doorstep (although you will definitely need a car to get around!). There's the Roman City of Nimes with it's fantastic amphitheatre, Aigues Mortes a medieval walled city filled with shops and restaurants, canoeing at Saint Guilhem le Desert and the Beach at Le Grau du Roi. Just a few of our stop-offs this year! The hotel, apartments and grounds are typically French. Basic but clean and everything you need is on hand for you. Pools are great and were a welcome treat this year with the temperatures hitting over 40 degrees!! The staff are friendly and most of them speak enough English to get you through if you don't speak any French. The snack bar is a big hit with the kids for slushies, ice lollies and paninis and Pizza Steve's pizzas are really tasty but no good for the waistline! Overall Les Jasses is a great place to relax and unwind and we would thoroughly recommend a visit.…
We stayed in an apartment rented from a seperate owner. On arrival the complex appears a little depressing and run down however our apartment was clean and what we needed for our stay albeit the aparment/gite floors are a little creaky. The outdoor pool and splash area was great and the children loved this especially to cool down in the evening make sure you wear required wristbands. This is well located for local amenities and there is more than enough to do in the area. We didn't try the restaurant and instead headed to the local town or bought provisions from nearby supermarkets. Hiring a car is essential as public transport is not an option. We found staff to be knowledgeable of the local area and helpful, even printing our boarding passes despite the fact we weren't actual guests of the hotel. My only gripe is sometimes the kareoke gets a little loud and late. Overall this was a memorable holiday and worth a stay if you are willing to overlook external appearances…
