Me and my wife stayed here for one night, what a lovely little hotel, I was meet by the lovely lady who showed me to our room! Whilst my wife was finishing the last 10 miles of the day on walking trip across France doing the Camino way, I got the taxi! The rooms very spacious and really well furnished, in fact furnished nicer than some 5 star hotels we have stayed at. The host was absolutely lovely with breakfast being brought to our room which was great, so kind was the host she kindly took us to the railway station for the next leg of our journey! It is a few months ago since we stayed here, but it is worth it to say we had a very good and relaxing overnight stay here on our way to Spain. We had doubts about booking because you gave to pay in advance. Looking back we were not sorry we made this choice. The suite Cocoon is very spacious and clean with a small private terrace and a jacuzzi right in front! It was wonderful to relax here after a long day in the car. Restaurants in the village are at walking distance, so you can leave the car just outside the garden. The next morning the friendly owner brought us a tray with a typical French petit dejeuner. This was fine, we ate it on our own terrace.

We spent 5 nights here after a cycling tour the week before, so the aim was rest and relaxation. Agnès was warm and friendly from the moment we arrived, and exceptionally helpful in every way. Each morning she appeared, at a time of our choice, with our breakfast loaded up on a huge tray that contained a vast amount of pastries, bread, jam, yogurt and fruit, and we enjoyed this on the outdoor terrace of our suite. As the only guests all week, we had the place to ourselves, so we had utter peace and tranquillity in the shade of the olive trees. The rooms are huge and beautifully decorated with trendy paintings and objets d’art, and a sense of style pervades everything about the place, creating a very attractive environment all round. The town of Gallargues-le-Montueux itself is also a hidden gem, with a beautifully preserved old town centre that’s literally 5 minutes walk from the Chambres d’Hôte. This provides you with 3 good restaurants (one a pizzeria) and a bar all within a few minutes’ walk, and when we were there in early October, not another tourist in sight. If you have wheels, 5 mins drive takes you to a massive Intermarché supermarket and a couple of other fast food options if you fancy that sort of thing. As a base, Gallargues-le-Montueux is perfectly positioned, with Nîmes only 20 mins drive away and within an hour or so, the Pont du Gard, the Camargue, Montpellier, all of which are made easier by the fact that Gallargues is sitting just off the A9 motorway. All in all, a fabulous place to stay, in a lovely town, and in a great geographical location for accessing lots of what this part of France has to offer.…

This hotel is simply amazing. The rooms are huge and finely decorated, wifi signal is perfect everywhere and the breakfast is very good. But the best is the hostess, kindest person ever! What an amazing place to rest and let time go by.

It was our first trip in France and we found out this " chambre d hotes " on internet , the room was just amazing and we appreciated pretty much the attention to details , the bathroom was also perfect .
