The post perfect hotel in a quiet but central location. I booked this hotel as I wanted a place to work from for the week on a lil solo trip to Italy. As a female travelling alone I felt very same here. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome - I can’t recommend enough. I am allergic to gluten and every morning they went out of their way to make me feel special. From baguettes to crepes - I was never left out! Thank you so much. I’ve never had a more varied breakfast, I looked forward to it each morning. I hired a bike for €5 a day and cycled to the beach on my lunch breaks which took about 5 minutes. The hotel has a lovely little bar and offers lunch snacks by the pool - you’ll never want to leave! The rooms are super clean and modern and has a lovely balcony. The beds are very comfortable. Thank you to the team again for making my first stay in Tuscany a memorable one!…
We were recommended this hotel by family and it did not disappoint. Such a lovely family feel to the staff who make the stay perfect. We had a 10month old and they made such a fuss over him. The rooms are cleaned each day and fresh towels. You can hire bikes and the pool area is lovely. Breakfast has something for everybody and I still miss it all now. I cannot single any member of staff out as they were all fantastic, will definitely be back next year.
This place was fantastic .Hard to explain just how good .! .The staff were so friendly and always smiling .Nothing was too much trouble for them . The breakfast was simply amazing .Anything cooked was cooked specially for you -the fruit section was outstanding ,the lay out superb with fruit figurines . The breakfast times 8-11 were perfect . There was no rush .WE had to get an early flight and they were weighing us down with food and saying how could they give us more for the journey . The rooms were spotless .the art deco was amazing .It was very modern ,very chic ,the shape of the building itself was very modern .had lovely roof top jacuzzi and sun area .The pool was fantastic -small but designed as part of the art deco .Lighting superb . It is situated 750 metres from the very centre of the promenade 5-10 min walk but far enough back to be perfectly quiet . There were bikes at 5 euro a day to hire -perfect to go the 750 to the beach or 2/3 km along the front to Forte del Marmi. This place exceeded expectation by miles and miles and miles ! I am hard to please . This place scored eleven out of ten -it was really that good . Do not miss it if you go to the area …
Wow the photographs do not lie😁. A beautiful , stylish hotel. 26 rooms so not large where you are part of the mass. The staff are very helpful, especially Maria at breakfast; which is served outside by the lovely pool. The breakfast is the best we have enjoyed anywhere worldwide😋. Presented in a very attractive way, is plentiful & tasty. A large selection of fruit, savoury mini smoked salmon savoury treats, cakes, croissants, boiled eggs, yogurts etc. Crepes & omelettes made to order & a choice of teas & coffees. Parking freely available. Great location for the Tuscan Coastline & only 40 minutes from Pisa Airport.
I made a last-minute trip to the coast with my son & found Hotel Central Park. It was reasonably priced (albeit it was October) & in a nice location, just a 10-minute/easy walk to the beach/sea. Our room was HUGE, with a full bedroom & bathroom & separate sitting area/room with a couch. The pool in the front looked fun, but it was a bit cold to take a dip (I can see HOW fun this hotel would be in warmer months). Where this hotel really shines, however, is their breakfast. I have traveled a lot through Europe & have NEVER seen such an amazing spread. They had the usual standards-- deli meats, cheeses, hard-boiled eggs, breads, pastries, but they also had made-to-order crepes & eggs & you could fresh-squeeze your own orange juice. We were totally wowed by this perk & I look forward to staying again & exploring this area more. We dined in central/historic Pietrasanta which was just lovely & there are many quaint beach towns near by; Lucca, too, is an easy 15-20 minute drive away.…
Let me start off by saying that the family that runs this establishment are truly Salt of the Earth! (Maria e Marco) There is nothing short of love and positive vibes at this location and the feeling of HOME. Centrally located in La Versilia, Hotel Central Park is just a short 10 minute walk to the sea (700 m - Pier di Marina di Pietrasanta. The best sunsets to experience!) PRO's: Newly renovated hotel CHIC and modern. Extremely Clean and well kept (Special Thank You to Sandra who is so genuine and sincere) Breakfast buffet incredible (cappuccino, cheese, prosciutto, fresh fruit, Italian croissants, jam, variety of sandwiches etc etc) ask for Fabia; charming lady. Best shower EVER! The water pressure is superb; a treat in itself. Docking station for ALL smart phones. Hair Straightener (ask reception) Universal Plug (ask reception) Air Conditioning (rarely used since the nights began to cool off and during the day it was pleasant enough not to have it on) Bicycles to rent $5 euro a day! (Fabulous for getting around and exploring the area 15 minute bike ride to Marina Di Pietrasanta Cathedral Square; artistic capital (4.3 km) great shops and restaurants Lovely pool (large enough for a length swim) 4th floor; The Rooftop is wonderful! Offering sun loungers, a 360 panoramic view of the mountains and sea, and a perfectly sized hydrotherapy jet tub. Supermarket called UniCOOP (650m) bottle of wine $4-7 euros, bread, milk, cheese etc etc. This area of Tuscany is truly a gem! Classy and elegant. Everyone is always dressed to the nines and ready to be seen (even while riding their bicycle) During the summer months (June, July and August) it is definitely the place to be. The nightlife is exciting and there is always something to do. The summer months here can get quite busy. This time I decided to go later in the year, and it was much more quiet, yet pleasant. Summer Month Pros: Nightlife. Always something to do! Darsena (17-24) Bars and pubs right along the sea, free beach (10.5k) Lido di Camaiore (25 +) shopping on the passeggiata, restaurants, lounges (4.5k) Marina di Pietrasanta (35 + Family) After Summer Months Pro: Mercatto Shopping (outdoor flea market) especially clothing for winter months. Monday - Lido Di Camaiore (4.5k) Wednesday - Forte di Marmi (6k) BEST ONE! Thursday - Viareggio (9k) Deals, Good Finds $ Saturday - Tonfono - directly outside Hotel Central Park Sunday - Forte di Marmi (4.5k) The beach during the summer months are NOT Free. The whole Versilia is private beaches aka. Bagno) There is a fee to attend daily. Hotel Central Park recommends 3 different bagno-beaches near by for a special rate (as per the bagno) however, you can use any of them really. There is a free beach/public beach near by (2k) in between Nikki Beach Versilia and Phone Rock called Spiaggia Libera Pietrasanta (Motrone) I recommed eating at Trattoria da Carlino AMAZING! (speciality in seafood) but has everything else, authentic Italian food at good value $ (800m) Try the Pasta Ravioli Try the Spaghetti Mixed Seafood For Gelato, I recommend Gelateria Cervetti (right across from Trattoria da Carlino) Mmm wow! For authentic Italian cookies, liquors etc. visit Pasticceria Marietto (600m) All in all, this hotel is lovely! As mentioned above, Maria and Marco are wonderful. A special Thank You to Eleonora. During the day, she holds the fort down at front desk. Anything you need, just ask! She is extremely knowledgeable, pleasant and endearing. Like I said, Salt of the Earth! Ciao e Grazie a tutti, un abbracio forte A presto xo…
We stayed at the hotel for a week and found it very relaxing. The staff were attentive and helpful providing useful advice and tips on places to visit. Eleanora on reception was very sweet and even laughed at my jokes! Breakfast was very good with fresh fruit, cheeses, ham, breads, omelettes made to order, variety of coffees and juices. Something for everyone. Hotel was clean, welcoming, comfortable and clean. There are bikes to hire at the hotel if you fancy some exercise - Pietrasanta and the beach are within each reach and reasonable flat rides. We hired a car at Pisa airport and recommend this because taxis are not cheap! Overall a really lovely friendly hotel well worth a visit.
In Italy a star rating means at least what it says last year a 3 star in lake garda was a five star experience this year Central Park even better the positives 1 all of the staff ... they couldn’t be more helpful 2 The room we stayed in 204 had a balcony as big as the room 3 the shower worked perfectly 4 the breakfast cooked to your liking amazing crepes scrambled egg and bacon Omelette ‘s great tea for the boss amazing selection of breads and croissants ham and cheeses plus more all al fresco if you wish up there with the best 5 bicycle hire on site The negatives If you really wanted to be picky perhaps 200m nearer to the village would be ideal I don’t often get blown away by a small family run hotel but I have now couldn’t recommend this highly enough if you want a quiet and peaceful stay if you want more action go to Rome or Milan or Venice this place is perfect to recharge the batteries …
We stayed for 7 nights in a deluxe room. Good size room with huge corner balcony that got the sun all afternoon. Very friendly and helpful staff who even tempered our coffee preferences at breakfast. Spotlessly clean everywhere. Really good breakfast served til 11.30 including freshly cooked crepes or omelettes/ scrambled eggs. 10 min walk to the beach. We hired bikes on a couple of days to explore as flat and easy cycle and used local buses/train from Viareggio.
The hotel reminds me off one of the Art Deco hotels in Miami. Simple but stylish. More than that is the friendly, Familiar service and atmosphere. The breakfast is touching a 5* hotel standard. We will come again
