Building exterior, pathways and pool area in need of attention. Uneven poorly lit pathways, worn and loose matting around the pool. Dead plants and weeds everywhere. No bar in the evening and no mini bar in the room. Rooms clean but dated. Staff friendly. Continental breakfast, good selection. Dinner, half-board set menu, good but pasta dishes lacked variety. No gelato option for dessert. Nearest supermarket 20 mins walk.

Here in last week of season. Given room on back of hotel -- gloomy, dated decor, poor lighting, curtain hanging of track, few coathangers fixed hook type too high to reach, dusty, cracks in plasterwork need filling. Sheets and towels changed regularly. Externally, broken paving blocks, trip hazards, weeds about foot high. Meals adequate but some strange combinations. Bar not open at all, no mini bar in room. Good pool and sunbeds but all packed away on morning of our last day. Friendly staff doing their best. Has once been lovely hotel but needs a lot of tlc. Definately not 4* at the moment.

Overall a nice hotel. The pool was great. Loads of sun beds and parasols. Staff were friendly and helpful. I contacted them before our arrival and they were able to give me info on transfers from the airport (taxi about €80, however E25 bus right outside airport cost €13 for myself and 2 kids, and about 1 hour transfer time). The bus stopped right out the front of the hotel. Bedroom felt a bit small for 3 of us. Bathroom was very small, but functional and clean. The room was a bit dated and it looked like it was in need of a bit of DIY (I.e. light on mirror in bathroom looked to have been fixed with superglue). There was a large breakfast. Cakes, croissants, eggs, ham, cheese, fruit, yoghurt. Drinks included Water, coffee, juice. You could get pool towels for €10 each deposit. Returned to you when you return the towels. Close to the beach.

Good services, kind staff and beautiful rooms. Breakfast not with a very rich choice, but for being in Italy it's abundant enough. The swimming pool is clean (that's not always foregone). Nothing to complain

I stayed at Hotel Dune in Lido di Camaiore for about a week at the beginning of October 2018. The hotel has a large complex indeed which looks so idle (maybe it’s the season). This is a hotel equipped with old-style furnitures but the rooms are comfy and functional. The bathroom is slightly packed. The breakfast is quite good. Location is good for a walk and visit the beach to watch the magnificent sunset. The terrace design did not allow much air in even if the terrace door was open, making the room too hot for me. And then there was a bad odor coming into the room from the terrace. It was the drain I guess. The staff were friendly and helpful. All in all, this hotel served the purpose. It is a functional choice in Lido di Camaiore.

The actual hotel was nice. Very good for what we paid and i would stay here again. The location is very good. The pool and pool area were fantastic. The hotels rooms could do with modernising, decorating but are clean and thats what matters. We had a room facing the pool and beach, big balcony area too. The pool bar, breakfast area and reception area are very good. The walk way at the side of the pool area and just outside the hotel really needs attention. Would make a big difference if it was actually kept clean. The reception staff and bar staff were all really lovely. Enjoyed our stay,

Large, old fashion hotel, extremely close to the beach. Nice check in/out. Our room was large room and quiet but really old styled as well as the bathroom. The bed was comfortable. Mini bar wasn't well filled but it was enough for just one night. Breakfast was included in our rate: average standard but with some gluten free options (only packed items). Uncovered parking for free. It's a plus in high season. It was a 3/5 if only rates were cheaper.

We were left a little disappointed after staying here recently. The hotel appears tired and decor is very old fashioned. The pool area was not open and I would have expected that it would have been . The website did say it was seasonal but the dates should be advertised. Breakfast was very average for a 4 star hotel. It was included in our cost but if it hadn’t been we would have gone out to eat. The staff were excellent however and the level of service could not be faulted.

The Dune Hotel is in a ideal location just across the road from the vast beach. It also has a large swimming pool with plenty of sun beds. We stayed two nights as part of our "tour of Italy" and found it very relaxing. We had a room with large balcony with a pool view. The bedroom was quite spacoius and clean. Although the room could do with a lick of paint and the decour improving. We did not eat in the hotel but there is large selection of bars and restaurants along the sea front. There was also free open air car parking in a secure area at the rear of the hotel.

Stayed here for ond week in the middle of July 2016. The interior and room are outdated and need really to be refreshed. Price ok but expensive for extra bed for 5 year old son 220€ extra for one week for him is not any good deal! We paid 800 € for the room w breakfast incl. Pool area was nice. Breakfast simple and many times there were out of supplies like bred and other things. All in all would not come back again.
