On a scale from 1 to 10: - hospitality = 10 - location = 10 - accommodation = 10 Congratulations to the hotel staff; they are wonderful people. Clean and beautiful rooms, very good breakfast, quiet area close to the beach, free parking close to the hotel. We felt very good in this place, we want to go again.

This place had a nice room with comfy beds but for breakfast there wasn’t a gf of choice which were things like cakes and ham and cheese slices their cake is the specialty so the hand them out for breakfast the cakes were nice but by day five I was sick of cakes and ham and cheese slices the problem with ham and cheese slices was they were tasteless and tasted like something you could buy in the shops when we went to a restaurant we had ham and cheese slices which were delicious but unfortunately hotel’s Sylvia ham and cheese slices were ham that tasted like water and Swiss cheese.

We stayed a week in this hotel and booked back in January therefore our price was still quite expensive €200 per night for a family of 4. On the time of COVID this is certainly well overpriced accommodation. Positive- location was fantastic. Just 5 mins walk to the beach with all beach clubs, restaurants and facilities. Also our room was well cleaned every day which is important However the room was very very small and for 4 people we hardly could move around. Hotel has parking spaces on first come first serve basis however whenever we asked about a space in a week - it was never available although we saw people moving in and out. Breakfast was also disappointing. Because of COVID people are not allowed to move around. Instead everyone was getting 3 cakes and everything else you had to ask. The choice was very limited- scrambled eggs, ham and cheese slices and juice . Out of 6 mornings they forgot 4 times to set a table for us all together! All and all won’t stay there again however the location was grear

This is a good hotel situated basically block away from the beach which means it has one of the best locations. They had a decent breakfast but it was just the same things over and over again by the end of our stay I didn’t want to see another one of those cakes. Their speciality is about six cakes and pies they have in a rotation which you get a little sick of as there menu doesn’t have much variety. The staff were a bit unprofessional and there were lots of irregularities day to day for example on one day I would ask for a small hot chocolate and they would bring me a small metal thing to pour it but the next day they would just bring the cup with your drink in it. The balcony is quite nice and the rooms are a decent size. They also have a small tv but this seems to have teleshoping after teleshoping chanel. Other than that this is quite good.

I spent two nights here on the 9th and 10th of September. Viareggio was suddenly hit by a mini monsoon - there first rain in 6 months. Despite the rain (which was sort of exciting) the hotel provided such a cosy and lovely ambience that I completely loved every minute of it. Ema speaks great english which made things a lot easier for me during my stay. The food is delicious we had dinner and the breakfast buffet!

With the exception of the terrible coffee (surely this is a capital offence in Italy?!) this is a fair choice. This friendly. family oriented hotel is well sited on a quiet street around a block from the beach. The hotel has a lovely relaxing garden to enjoy an evening in and patient caring staff to keep an eye on little ones. In addition the hotel is very reasonably priced for the otherwise expensive part of Italy. The appointments are simple, well maintained and clean. Though by way of warning the garden rooms are right next the the children's play area and are very noisy. The food is simple and reasonably cooked and - for a non italian at least! - pleasant italian fayre. Though there lingers a suspicion of costs being cut on the occasional dish. So all in all a reasonable place for a week or so's family break - as long as you can stand the coffee.....

In the summer of 2014 I visited Hotel Silva, via Paolo Manfredi, num.15, lido di Camiore, Italy. It is 2 minutes from a beach with umbrellas that you need to pay for. The sand is a very high quality and the sea is quite clean. The hotel is a lovely family run hotel. The garden is very well maintained with 2 areas to sit, have a chat or relax. For those of you with little ones, there is a medium sized area with slides and play equipment. The hotel is very welcoming to all of the guests (wheelchair friendly). Each room comes with a standard of a bed, dressing table, safe, wardrobe, TV and a bathroom (shower). The beds are ok when it comes down to comfort. The garden rooms are to be avoided as the sound in them is outrageous and you might find it hard to sleep. The food at the hotel is average with things like tomato pasta. Breakfast is served between 8am -10am, and you can choose from a range of foods such as cakes, homemade croissants, yogurt and cereal. You can eat as much as you like – I always felt full. Lunch is served at 1pm and they offer a 4 course meal. Lunch is very nice. Dinner is similar to lunch - the mussels were especially delicious. The staff serving the food were very friendly and kind. We had good service and no problems occurred.
