I would like to thank all the staff at the Arkadia hotel for a wonderful stay made most special by their exceptional attention and attitude. Special mention must go to Mirella, Luca, Daniel and Laura and even the owner came and assisted us with mountain bikes which were delivered direct to the door for our use. Nothing was too much trouble and they never needed prompting, they almost knew intinctively what you needed and when.

The hotel itself is wonderfully positioned in Corvara with the main gondola just across the car park. Shops, supermarket and bus stops all within easy walking distance. The ground floor bar, restaurant and reception area are very stylish and clearly new. The panorama pool on the top floor is fantastic with a spectacular view.

The biggest surprise was that half board included 7 course dinners which were of an exceptional standard. Despite all the walking, biking and via ferrata we certainly haven’t come home any slimmer!

Only unfortunate situation in the summer is that the bedrooms were very warm at night with no air con but with balcony doors and windows open it was bearable.

Overall an amazing stay.

Myself and my wife have just spend 4 nights here as part of our 8 night trip to Italy visiting Venice, Verona and of course the Dolomites and this certainly was the highlight of the trip!

We booked the hotel based on the stunning pictures and great location & it exceeded our expectations! The whole place was immaculate with stunning decor. The views from the hotel were some of the best I've ever seen and the infinity pool area was an incredible place to relax at the end of each day. The hotel is situated next to numerous ski lifts all within a 5 minute walk (with 2 literally outside the front door) making it the perfect place to explore the incredible surrounding walks and sights of the Dolomites.

All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the breakfast was brilliant with a huge selection of food ranging from fresh pancakes, local cheeses and meats, fresh honey, freshly squeezed orange juice. You name it they had it. We also had an evening meal in the restaurant one night and got a half price deal at 38 euros each due to the fact we were staying there. Again the food was amazing, with a 7 course menu.

Thanks to the whole team for making our stay so special and I can honestly say it's the best hotel we've ever stayed at.

This review is only for the restaurant Burje 1968. We had a splendid time eating dinner there.

Inquiries were answered promptly. When we arrived, we were made very comfortable. Fine dining but very relaxed. The maitre'd Massimo is perfect.

After 1 week in Italy, we were craving something different. The amuse bouche of tuna tartare with a little lime and ginger really hit the spot. We ordered a la carte wild salmon appetizer, white truffle pasta (they had some white truffle still), fusilino with crab sauce, snail, pigeon and sweetbread.

For us, the best dishes of the night were the pigeon, the wild salmon appetizer and the amuse bouche. The pigeon was one of the best dishes I've had in a long while.

Oh and the very delicious Lagrein wine.

We skipped dessert because we were stuffed, and antsy to leave after 2 hours.

Give this place a try. You will not be disappointed.

We have skied in the Dolomites for over 20 years, having stayed at a variety of chalets and hotels, including 4 star plus. Hotel Arkadia has become our firm favourite for its unbeatable mix of location, quality and service. We have just returned from our second stay there, which was wonderful.

The skiing facilities are excellent; great ski boot room with plenty of space to get ready in the morning. The pistes run literally a few feet from the front door, with a choice of 3 lifts within 100 metres. The ski pass office, ski school and a couple of ski bars are all very close by. We've not found anywhere else which is remotely comparable to Hotel Arkadia, when it comes to convenient skiing.

What makes this hotel so special for us, is that it is much more than just a ski hotel. As with most establishments in the Alta Badia, it is spotlessly clean and the rooms are modern and well-appointed. The food at both breakfast and dinner is really delicious, with tasty dishes and plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables.

The spa area is a great area for relaxing although, being typically British, we only went in there once, to discover it is a "Zono Nudio"!

More important than anything though, is the quality of service from management and staff. All the staff do a great job and make us guests feel relaxed and welcomed. Nothing is too much trouble. We needed to leave early, to catch flights and Ramona organised early morning tea/coffee for us and packed lunches for the bus transfer. When we wanted to meet up with non-skiers, she suggested places which were easily accessible by road and ski runs. An early mistake in the booking arrangements was quietly sorted out with no fuss.

As far as we are concerned, we will now only stay at Hotel Arkadia, whenever we go skiing.

Everything about this hotel was beyond our expectations! The room was modern yet cosy and comfortable, breakfast buffet was extensive and dinner was outstanding, both food and wine ánd service! Adriano was a very funny and attentive waiter! The spa was very relaxing and - maybe best of all - the hotel is located át the piste, just divided by a small road. Highly recommended, will be back!

Stayed here for 8 nights this year the last week of August. We had a comfort room and enjoyed the additional space. Our room's balcony looked over the noisy village play ground. Children there all day and early evening. I probably would select a front facing room next visit but presently there is construction going on across the street. Rooms are well kept with daily housekeeping service. Carpet in a ski lodge is always a turn off as it smelled musty at times.
Olga in the dining room is absolutely doing an excellent job!! She is efficient and very personable. The 2 evening dinners that we had were absolutely excellent and a bargain at 15€ each
Day time front desk woman is limited for advice due to some English language comprehension issues and can have somewhat a frustrated and anxious attitude. We inquired as to where to eat good pasta in the village and the reply was " you are in Italy all restaurants serve good pasta" uhh The evening shift gal is pleasant and welcoming.
Would possibly stay again but in a room in the front of the hotel AFTER construction across the street is completed and in a room with no carpeting.

We stayed at Arkadia for a week while on a skiing trip in Corvara. We are three adults and stayed in a family room, which was great as it is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom. Arkadia's greatest advantage is, no doubt, its location right by the lifts. There is a heated ski room in the basement to leave the skis and boots. Once back from the day of skiing, you can enjoy a small but lovely wellness centre (sauna, steam room, massages), a pretty well-lit lobby and a cosy bar. We stayed on a half-board basis, both breakfasts and dinners were very good, dinner menus change every day and the food is delicious.

This was our second stay in this hotel. Very nice staff. Rooms are clean and modern. We select away from the playground as the park is busy with playing children.
We did B&B only as we enjoy experiencing dinners at various restaurants. Hotel has wonderful dinners but by not selecting half board the guest is penalized and required to pay 42euro per person for dinner which is outrageous so we did not dine there.
