We stayed at this hotel as part of a Neilson Ski holiday. The hotel is situated between La Villa and La Croche. The nearest lift is the Sponata 300m away. However the hotel provides a shuttle morning and afternoon to ferry guests to and from various locations to facilitate skiing in the area, This works very well. Although not ski out, we believe it is possible to ski back off the sponata piste to finish up close to the hotel -but would depend of snow and your experience -we didn't try it.
The management and staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was large, with an attached bathroom containing a shower and a large bath. The WC was accessed through the bathroom. There were also 2 washbasins in the room. Overall the room was very comfortable and warm. However the safe was slightly more tricky to use at first (it had 3 dials to twist containing the alphabet the letters of which were a little hard to see.)
Food was very Italian, but very good.
Facilities at the hotel were first class:- a decent spa and swimming pool, fitness area, and a tennis court! There was also a grand pool table.
The ski room, although quite small, was adequate and warm to ensure dry boots at the beginning of the day, but it was necessary to put boots on and off outside the room (not really an issue)
We'd be pleased to return next year with Neilson Ski holidays. The Rep Richard did an amazing job with the guests.

I enjoyed my brief stay at the Teresa very much. The staff were particularly friendly & helpful, my room was spacious and well appointed as a junior suite with balcony. Although not situated for "ski-in, ski-out" (the nearest lifts or pistse are somewhat distant), the availability of an "on demand" shuttle service during ski departure and return hours fully compensated for this. The heated ski room and cushioned benches for comfortable ski boot deployment and removal were appreciated. Apres ski, the pool was a good size and fully suitable for "lengths" swimming, and the jacuzzi, steam and sauna facilities combined to form an excellent "relax" environment post ski.
I have made a few suggestions elsewhere to the management which would make a great experience even better, but overall I would highly recommend SportHotel Teresa.

We had a fantastic Christmas skiing with friends in the Dolomites and the Sporthotel Teresa was an excellent choice of accommodation. We travelled with Neilson Ski and our rep, Richard (aka Frosty) was very friendly and helpful. All our requirements for lift passes and ski hire were sorted on the bus on the way to the resort. The hotel was really lovely and welcoming with all the Christmas decorations. Our room was modern, spacious, clean and comfortable. All the staff on reception, behind the bar and in the restaurant were extremely friendly and helpful.

The food was very good with a wide selection for breakfast and a good choice for dinner, including a salad buffet to start and a delicious choice of desserts to end our meals.

The shuttle bus service to and from the lifts worked very well and the spa area was a great place to relax after a hard day on the slopes.

We would definitely recommend Sporthotel Teresa and we hope to make a return visit in the not too distant future.

Excellent stay at the Sporthotel Teressa for a skiing trip to Dolomites.
The hotel has really lovely and friendly manager and staff matched with excellent facilities.( spa, pool , tennis ) The restaurant is very efficient and well run. You get a choice of starter main and desert the night before in addition there is a comprehensive salad buffet.
Rooms are comfortable and spacious. We also had a balcony
The hotel is about a 20 min walking into la valla either by road or along the river but despite this location there is a hotel shuttle bus that was very effective in picking up quests locally.
From La Valla there access onto the Sella Ronda.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel

We greatly enjoyed a week at this gem of a hotel .We were on a Neilsen skiing holiday and couldn't have asked for a more welcoming and comfortable hotel with friendly, helpful staff and excellent food . The rooms are well furnished with comfortable beds and quality linen. We really appreciated the spa after a day on the slopes and the thoughtful provision of towelling dressing gowns and slippers. The mini bus service taking and fetching us from the lift areas was speedy and efficient so the location of the hotel a little away from the slopes was not a disadvantage at all .We would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return.

It was our first summer holiday in the Dolomites and Sport Hotel Teresa was just the perfect choice! Our room was bright and spacious, our 10ys old daughter loved the pool and play area, the food was great and we enjoyed many aperitif and cocktails in the outdoor patio and the bar. All the staff was friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcomed.
The location is also very convenient, there are many easy trails and a dear park just a short walk away (great for kids, make sure to do their guided tour on Tuesdays morning) and amazing mountain trails and sightseeing spots are just a short drive away.
We are already looking forward coming back next year!

We came here on a Neilson ski holiday package. We had been to La Villa and the Dolomites before and wanted to return. We were not disappointed with the skiing and were delighted that the hotel was just right for us. A little way out of town but there was an excellent shuttle bus service to the ski lifts with cheerful and helpful drivers. Our room was spacious and comfortable with en-suite bathroom (shower over the bath). There were bathrobes and slippers for use in the spa area. There was a large indoor pool (a bit too chilly for me), a jacuzzi, two saunas, a steam room, a gym and an indoor tennis court (with tennis equipment available for use if you wanted it). The staff were very helpful and pleasant and the food was wonderful. The Neilson rep "Frosty" was a real pro, informative, knowledgeable of the area and a fun guide to be out and about with on the slopes. I would be more than happy to return to this hotel. Not knowing what to expect as a friend of ours booked it all we were blown away by everything this hotel has on offer. From the minute we arrived we were welcomed by candlelit lanterns, an outside open fire and the reception was very welcoming and efficient. Our room had all modern comforts, storage space and was cosy. The wellness centre is spacious , clean and towels and robes are provided . Breakfast and dinner is superb, with plenty of variation and choice. Prosecco in the morning if you wish and some lovely home smoked salmon as well! Luca is extremely knowledgable and passionate about his wine and his advice was spot on. The bar has got a great selection of cocktails is very cosy and comfortable . All the staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The ski-locker , albeit tight on space is beautifully heated and the courtesy bus is such a bonus: it picks you up or drops you off on demand Even if it is after hours which I found out once, as I got lost, but they picked me up which was very reassuring. We will definitely be back and it may well be in a few weeks time; what is there not to like about the sht.

Just returned from this gem in the Dolomites. This will be our 4th consecutive year.
The hotel is so friendly they go out of their way to make you welcome.
Reception , bar and dining room staff are all very helpful and make your stay trouble free.
Clean rooms everyday and always plenty of hot water and fresh towels. The spa and pool area are perfect for winding down after a day on the slopes.
Food is good buffet breakfast with plenty of choice, a choice at dinner with starter buffet of salads local meats cheese. Deserts were delicious. After you can relax in the bar with the lovely Marco and Francesca .
We went with Neilson ski and their Rep Frosty really made our holiday with his knowledge of the area and his great personality.
Neilson wont be doing this hotel next year which is a real shame as would go back with them, but we are going to book independently as wouldn't be the same if we didn't have our weeks skiing from Sporthotel Terasa.

Very impressed with this hotel its service and staff, just finished a great weeks skiing based at the Teresa, a short hotel shuttle bus ride from either La Vila or Alta Badia lift stations. The Ski area is mega, the local lift and runs are extensive well managed. The Hotel facilities bar restaurant rooms and wellness centre all top notch. We used a Neilson holiday package to book which i can highly recommend. Absolutely nothing whatsoever to complain about, we were looked after exceptionally well, thanks to all the staff for making this a great holiday, we will be back..
