Alba Village is a new hotel on the outskirts of Alba. Divided into eight villas with apartments and traditional hotel rooms, each villa is surrounded by a grassy area and has its own small garden. The hotel was built on acres of beautiful park land and the city center is a ten-minute walk away. We have two pools, and for our wine and food-loving guests, there are several world-renowned wineries and fabulous restaurants nearby.

We got an enthusiastic welcome when we arrived and we were able to choose our own pitch as it was early in the season. There was plenty of room, but none of the pitches seemed to have hard-standing and the ground was quite uneven. The pitches would be seriously improved if they were levelled & firmed up. The toilets & showers were kept very clean, but it confused us at first as both sections were labelled ‘female’, one of which was also labelled as ‘male.’ Not that it would bother seasoned travellers, but I suspect that the male section has been taken over for the ‘wellness’ spa.’ Dishwashing was also unusual, being in a temporary building a little too far from the main pitches. There was a popular bar & restaurant on site, and a very convenient bus stop outside for the one-mile journey into the town. Alba is all about wine, food & white truffles - we were truly spoiled!

We are a couple on our 30's who gets to travel almost every month. And this month of October wasn't different, and we decided to go to Alba. Planning the trip lead us to find this place that it exactly as it looks on the pictures. The location is good, 30min walk to the centre of Alba, or a quick 5 minutes drive. The check i is very informative about places to see, to go, to eat, maps were given, all very good. The room/ bungalow was decent, nothing spectacular, or any details to make it less standard, Pretty simple, basic amenities, but did good the function. We understand that this is the high season and therefore accomodation more expensive, but I still believe was a little too much for what we got. If you need only a place to sleep, shower without any commodities, then this is the place to come.

We stayed here for just a night in our camper van when visiting Alba.It was the only obvious campsite in the Alba area which suprised us, and, from the description on the internet, and as we drove up to a fairly nondescirpt area of town didn't really look very appealing or even suitable for a camper van full of family. This was however judging a book by it's cover. Upon arrival we were greeted very cordially (in English) and felt welcomed. The campsite area of this 'village' is at the back of a complex of motel rooms with a cafe at the front and was safe and well lit. The site is very clean, with good sized, secluded pitches with easy access to electric. The shower and toilet blocks are excellent and very clean. There is a small pool ideal for cooling off in the afternoon and it is fairly close to the town centre. We payed 38 Euros for the night which matched other campsites we visited in north Italy. We used this campsite as a base to cycle (20 mins) into the old town of Alba for an evening along a direct route with cycle lanes. Alba itself is really lovely - shops full of fresh truffles, wine and oil, cafes on cobbled streets serving glasses of Barolo , excellent ice-cream and great food. We had a stand out meal at Osteria Dei Sognatori before wandering back through the evening lit bustle to our bikes. As a place to stop to see Alba for a night or two, or as base to see this wine region (barolo, barbaresco etc) I definitely recommend this campsite.

The Staff is super helpful & patient. From printing train tickets, explaining the many details of local life (bus schedules, etc.) & of course restaurant recommendations no request is too small to deserve their undivided attention. Not to mention the reservation one has a confirm for, but no record exists in their data base. No problem, your room is still available ! Alba Village is a pleasant change from the norm - crowded pricey hotels/ restaurants w/ harried staff. The simple restaurant/ bar is pleasantly low key... The electric bike option expand the value of one's time here, placing so much w/ in an easy bike ride...

It is not in the downtown but you can walk or take a bus, the bus stop is in the hotel exit. In the aparment you have everything you need as restroom, kitchen and obviously the bed, you can find a very small pool outside, laundry service (with an extra carge) and a restaurant, next to the Alba Village is a park and a very big pool. I didn´t like that they didn´t changed the bed sheets everyday and the breakfast is always the same.

The park is big and feels very spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bus stop is out the front, but it also just a short walk into the city center. Our room was large and airy, and the air-con was on and the room cool when we arrived which was much appreciated. The park and room were both very clean. It was great having a kitchenette in the room. The only negative was the size of the pool and that it was very crowded.

Very big and fair structure, located not too far from the city center. It's my preferred when you have to manage the stay of a big team (I used to go there for business purposes). Rooms are very large and quality of the sleep is good. It's not a typical hotel. Staff is gentle and breakfast is fine. Possibility to park inside.

This campsite is conveniently placed to cycle into Alba and has plenty of camping places, we only stayed 1 night but there was a pool on the site if we had wanted to stay longer. Friendly and helpful staff. Showers and toilets clean.

Alba Village The park. The park can be divided into several different parts, small vacation houses (1 and 2 room houses) with an attractive design and comfortable interiors. A camping for motorhomes and a part with fixed caravans. As support there are buildings for showering, washing, waste disposal , two small swimming pools (one for small kids) and a reception. The park is very child friendly, there are some toys to play with. At the reception there is a possibility to rent bikes and small motorbikes. There is even some wine and specialized products available. The reception is situated between Corso Piave and the park. It is occupied quite often, from early to quite late – only to be closed when most shops are closed too – and that’s between rougly 12:00 and 14:30. What sets this reception apart is the service and friendliness of the main employees. I got very good help with a transportation problem where I got help with translation as the garage spoke Italian only. There were some wasps behind the house which was solved very quickly. The park looks maintained very well – I saw gardeners work very often, cleaning is done well (especially compared to Italian standards). Disposal of waste was easy and can be separated into glass, carton, etc. There was even a large washing machine. We didn’t use it but handy for those that need it. The vacation house. We had a 2 room version which has a double bed on the first floor. The quality of the beds were surprisingly good, nice hard matrasses. For the kids there is a stacked bed and there is even a possibility to transform the couch into a bed, but the quality was less good – as can be expected. The kitchen is well equipped for the small size, we missed a coffee machine but we could use instant coffee. After all it’s vacation. The big surprise was a double aircondition units with large capacity, very comfortable. Also a small tv with more than 10 channels. The bathroom is roomy and offers everything one could wish. Hot water and ventilation worked very well, something that is not always the case in Italy. There is also wifi on the park, the signal wasn’t always present, but I was able to check mail and upload photo’s. Also handy to look for the next trip in the neighbourhood. The area around Alba Village. We always use our vacation location as a starting point for excursions. As Alba Village is one of the few locations to rent a house on a park, it is an ideal basis for trips to Alba and Turin. Alba city Is at 15 minutes walking distance. Turin with its beautiful Piazzas, Via’s and Museo’s around 90 kms. You may need three days to see enough. We even went a day to Chamonix to see the Mont Blanc, that is 200 kms. Another nice trip would be Sacra di San Michele in Sant’Ambrogio (near Turin). The area is quite green and there are only a few small hills. It is a center for food like truffles (a specialty for this area!) and wine. Getting food is not a problem at all, there is a large Lidl shop only 400 m from Alba Village. Very good. Summary. Child friendly, very high value for money, extremely friendly and well organized reception and a great number of excursions possible. Highly recommended.
