We stayed three nights in this hotel and we really liked it. Good spacious room, perfect shower, nice bedding and a good working airconditioning. The hotel offers a very nice breakfast with mainly healthy biological food options, a small swimming pool, a spacious garden, free parking and - to go into the city- free bikes; it only takes 7 minutes to go there by bike. I have stayed in a zillion hotels in my life but this is - surely considering the cost - one of my favorites.

Our stay at Langhe hotel was amazing. The location was great and the staff was very helpful for all our enquirers. They gave great recommendations for restaurants and it was very easy to cycle from the hotel to Alba city center. Would highly recommend!

Car needed. Unsuitable for ordinary tourists Generous parking available Comparatively quiet. Close to vineyards, comfortably outside the town Good caring owners. Very encouraging signs of humour, not yet shattered by too many Asian invaders

I first reviewed the hotel in 2009 and my husband and I subsequently stayed there a second time, in 2011. The next time we visited Alba, in 2016, it was unfortunately fully booked. This time I made sure to reserve very far in advance. The hotel appears to have been renovated in recent years. We had a very large and comfortable room, with a huge dressing area and bathroom. The hospitality of the owner and staff make it such a pleasure, and the breakfast is exceptional. It's too bad it was a bit too chilly for the pool this time, as it is really nice. Being on the outskirts of Alba is perfect for driving out to the countryside, where the best restaurants are to be found, and also for the easy drive into town for an early evening stroll.

Great experience at Hotel Langhe. My wife and I decided to end our Italian honeymoon by exploring the Piedmont area of Italy - mainly for the wine in the region, and to spend time in a not so touristy part of the country. Alba was the perfect spot to explore Barolo and Barberesco - as it’s right in the middle. The hotel is in a perfect spot, out of the Alba town center, but a quick drive, or better yet, bike ride into town. 10 minutes. The hotel provided bikes to use! Highly recommend. What sets this hotel apart is its staff, specifically, the owner - Nico. He accompanied us to a store us to ship our wine back to the US. He didn’t have to do this, but offered and it was hugely appreciated. He also gave us a great day road trip recommendation. Thank you! Nice pool, spacious rooms and a great breakfast setup. Highly recommend this place!

Rated 3 stars, equating to a 'Good' rating. Was very disappointed on how the hotel handled an item that was left behind. While I was the one that left it, the hotel was very unhelpful in returning the item, although I had agreed to pay shipping. (I was not familiar with how to arrange for a courier service in Italy, and the hotel was too impatient to give me a day to sort out, resulting in the item being lost in the regular mail.) Staff was friendly enough, and the hotel was quaint. Superior room had no windows, only sky lights, which was odd. Shower tile grout was old and mildew stained. Breakfast had a very nice selection, but they took our egg order and then didn't bring out.

We have stayed in a couple of hotels in the region, and Hotel Langhe beats them all. Great location with well maintained features like pool and gym. They are superstars in guest service!!! Nicco and Francesca went out of their way to make everything happen for you. We needed a PCR test over the weekend including results and both made every effort to finally get there. We came as strangers and left as friends. And - we will come back! Stefan&Leonie

Easy parking, nice pool and garden, freindly team make this hotel a very location to stay in Alba and enjoy the vineyards. If you are lucky, you can also use bikes from the hotel and skip the 15 minutes walk to downtown. By the way: excellent pizza 5 minutes away...

if you enjoy one of more of the following hotel features then this hotel is perfect for you the smell of sewage from the stream behind the hotel. if you like to shower with the shower curtain clinging to your body while trying to keep your balance in the tub If you enjoy trying to get Wifi in the room to work (We never succeeded) If you enjoy not being able to control your room temperature (AC is not controlled from the room but rather by the front desk) If you enjoy screaming, crying and yelling from the next door neighboor (hospital) If any of those things are not on your personal priority list then consider finding a different hotel, either more downtown Alba or further outside with a more scenic view On a more positive note then the staff is friendly, and breakfast is average.

The room was large, comfortable bed, good shower. It’s a very short drive or long walk to the central town. Lovely, friendly staff. Quiet location tucked away from the main streets. We spent only one night but I’d happily have stayed longer. Very good breakfast.
