Detailed Reviews
If you need a base in l'Ariege look no further. This campsite is perfect. It is well maintained, the facilities are modern, clean and the showers are very good. The campsite isn't very big, is well shaded and there is a little stream running along one side. I was in France for 2 months and I that time this was by far the best campsite I stayed on.

We spent 3 nights here. Very friendly and helpful reception with information on the area provided. English spoken. A relatively small and very lovely campsite with good size pitches separated by small hedges. Pitches surrounding a middle grassy area with picnic tables. A quiet peaceful site, although there is sporadic noise from a small road that runs outside the campsite. Clean sanitary facilities with toilet paper and soap provided. Good hot showers and privacy cubicles. WiFi is only free for 5 minutes. The site is not too far from Foix. The site owner did not recommend cycling into Foix due to a busy road and he gave us direction to an area specifically for campers to park very close to the centre of Foix. There is a bus stop not far from the site but buses do not run on weekends or public holidays and the service is limited to only a few buses a day. Overall, a good site for visiting Foix, although note the limitations on buses.

Very nice campsite, clean, exceptional welcome. Beautiful, shady pitches. Quiet, the campsite is located in a pretty park. Very nice swimming pool. The reception is open all day. Shops nearby. Foix, with its restaurants, 5 km. Beautiful walks around the campsite. To recommend!!

While this campground was nice it left much to be desired. The showers had absolutely NO pressure, water dribbled out, not even a stream of any sort. Dogs run free & poop in the grass-landmines. We would not return.

This campsite is perfect for a family stay. It is ideally located (near Foix, caves, for walks) in a very wooded setting. It is on a human scale, the welcome is warm and the evening entertainment is really good and varied (even people from outside the campsite come!). It was our first stay in Ariège, we stayed there for 2 weeks with our children aged 9 and 14. We have adored.

I highly recommend however the locations next to the toilets are not the best because a lot of noise even at night

+1
Satisfied for the second time. Pleasant and responsive management, correct locations, entertainment, perfect catering.. Ideal for us bikers to visit the area (near Spain, hiking trips, museums, monuments, caves, rivers, nautical bases, etc.). .Swimming pool and wine bar in bucolic setting.....
I recommend without any problem to campers wanting peace and quiet in a natural environment...

Stay that we would have liked to renew, but for a problem with air conditioning which for a disabled person, we were billed 20th per night. It's a shame. In addition, in high season, on August 15, no activity.
