In November 2022 I spent 2 weeks at Abdelli Terraces and may warmly recommend it to all those who look for a very special place in Northern Lebanon, truly unique in terms of atmosphere, architecture, standards, spirit and special food. Najla and Nabil have created more than a hotel, it is a like a little village and it feel as if had always been there, in this niche among the mountains and the stones. I found it by sheer chance on the internet looking for a pet friendly place. And indeed! My four legged friends and myself we were all well received by the local shepherd dogs and all the people working and living at Abdelli Terraces.
With some friends and family we decided to go and for 3 nights to abdelli terrasses but ended up staying only for one night! We had arrived at the time of the check in and our room was not ready yet, we waited 2 hours by the pool. Once arrived at the room the closet was broken there was a whole in the wall next to the AC and in the shower there were two sockets (really dangerous especially around kids). We had decided later that night to go have dinner at the hotel restaurant, terrible service, everyone got sick! The glasses were extremely dirty, stains of food on them and finger prints. We had to ask 9 times for a plate of fattouche and the vegetables were not even cut we had found stems of vegetables! The next morning we had breakfast at the same place and nothing was fresh, there was mold on the bread and the cups were still really dirty! I would recommend only going for a night because of the nice pool and the view but don’t expect excellent service and hygiene!…
Worst experience ever! No variety of food was available Poor quality Had to wait one hour to receive the food Unproffessional staff, not trained Electricity was cutting all the time Not recommended for business meetings or internal tourism. X
Zena at Beit Bridi was a wonderful host! The house the garden the pool are exquisite ! Thank you Zena :) Loved the stay ! The view is stunning and breakfast is fresh from the garden in beautiful dishes and silver cutlery. Every single detail of this guesthouse is a pleasure for the eyes. The pool is very nice temperature was 25 degrees ! Thank you and keep your beautiful smile 😊
We really needed and escape Foron the city and the chaos to nature . We found cleanliness and a very very caring crew.. overwhelmed . We returned home very happy and sure planning to visit again . Thank you for the heartwarming experience 💗
We had an extraordinary experience there! Rami was welcoming and very helpful! We highly recommend this place! The food is delicious and freshly prepared! Very generous and kind people! Enjoy your stay by the pool while looking at the breathtaking view! A must visit B&B!
Lovely retreat , nice stay for a relaxing vacation away from the city , nice pool , charming view . The suite very spacious yet cozy . The food was good , but the wine they make is a bit overpriced. .
Stayed here for new year’s eve and were very disappointed. When we first tried to book, the manager told us that the room was for 170$ and asked us if we wanted to participate in the optional new year’s dinner (120$ per person) that was being provided, making it seem like it was an option instead of an obligation. Since we had other plans in the area, we said no. He then stopped answering our correspondences (we were corresponding by email as we came from abroad), and only when we sent him emails chasing him back did he respond saying that he only wants to give the room to people who are also participating in the dinner. I guess that makes sense since it’s an opportunity to make more money, but he should have said that from the start instead of making the dinner seem optional and then not responding anymore. Nevertheless, we accepted and booked the room with the dinner. Upon arrival, we opened the bed sheets to take a nap and found crumbs of chips and sand inside the bed. The sheets had not been changed. The lid of the garbage in the toilet was all sticky and dirty that we couldn’t even open it to throw things away. There was no hairdryer in the room and the wifi password provided to us was not working. The New year dinner was also quite disappointing however I must point out that the staff of waiters were really lovely and accomodating gentlemen. Nevertheless we paid 120$ be served homemade beef stroganoff and a turkey with some potatoe gratin and a few salads. There was a small cheese selection and a little bit of foie gras. No meat was served, not even cold cuts, which was strage at 120$ per person... There was a DJ booth where the staff let kids come and play, turning the music way too loud which was really annoying. All in all, I am sorry to say that this whole experience was nowhere near worth the 400$ We paid for the whole thing.…
I don’t think i have seen a more beautiful place! I have been there for a sunday.. the staff is so friendly and helpfull.. the pool is amazing, the view is breathtaking, the atmosphere and the people are so friendly and warm. THE FOOD .... every bite feels like you taste heaven. I am dreaming about this place ever since. Keep it as simple as beautiful as it is. Much love! Cheers.
Stayed in Abdelli Terraces’ suite for a night. Felt at home throughout the stay. The room: authentically furnished, super clean and comfortable bed. The setting: feels like home. The views are amazing. The new pool is wide and beautiful. The hosts are extremely friendly, flexible and I recommend you have a meal with them to learn about the history of the place. The food: fresh, locally produced. Do not miss out on the raw meat “kebbeh nayyeh.” Highly recommended for a 1-2 night away from Beirut to live an authentic experience. Batroun is 20 min away so you could have the beach / nightlife element during your stay.
