The word terrible isn't enough bad hygiene in toilets sheets and shower. The room service doesn't exist and the staff are so rude and unprofessional. Nearby pub playing very loud music till four am. Don't go there. Shame on such a great location and bad management.
We called the resort to book bungalows and rooms for New Year's Eve. The first time I called was to get information about the rooms and bungalows' prices and availability. To be more precise and clear, I mentioned it twice that we need to ask about the prices for NYE since the prices vary from the regular ones. She gave me the prices (The range price that she gave me was between 200,000 and 400,000 LBP). The next day, I called to book the rooms and bungalows for sure. Apparently, it seemed that another girl answered the phone, so I re-explained that I wanted those rooms and bungalows for NYE, but she interrupted me and meanly said that those aren't the prices for New Year's Eve yet, call back tomorrow morning. On the last day, I waited until the afternoon to give them time and called to check the updated prices. Unfortunately, I couldn't resist how لئيمة and غير محترفة . She said we do not have official prices so you can not book now. I could not even speak to her so I simply hung up the phone. Maybe it was obvious that she is trying to push us away in order to make us pay more. I am so curious Why do you have this bad customer service where employees do not know the prices? They are paid to know everything or at least the basics of their jobs as receptionists. Moreover, we all know that every Lebanese employee is in need of customers due to the current situation we are facing, or else they will lose their jobs. (Hopefully ☺) Thank God I found out about so many recent reviews talking about the similar customer service experience at your place and did not book at Sawary Batroun even though it is so sad since I am a regular customer during your highest seasons where my friends and I spent either Graduation parties, getaways, and beach days. Not anymore!…
Where to start! it's all catastrophe from the moment you get your room! Bed sheets are dirty, we asked them to be changed (the Ethyopian staff member who came to change the bed sheets was super nice). The balcony glass doors haven't been cleaned for over a month, you can barely see outside it's all so dirty and stained. The same goes for the mirror glass inside the room. Whenever you touch anything in the bathroom or shower, it falls on the floor. Everything is barely hanging there. The highlight was : nobody tells you when selling you the room that there will be a wedding outside that night around the pool and that the music will be so loud you will never sleep. We had the wedding Arabic music until 1/2 AM followed by a nearby nightclub's electronic music until 5 AM!! We couldn't wait next day to check out as quickly as possible. We handed over the room keys at 8:30 AM and left running!…
We were there this weekend, the place is good , but the service was very bad, bad communication with guests, zero hospitality, specially the one called Mira بلا أخلاق doesn’t know how to communicate with guests and all the stuff are very bad يا عيب الشوم
we were a large group [28] from Mexico and Australia and stayed for 2 days. The location was great as well as the service. Our thanks and appreciation to the owner Tony for looking after our group. The staff were excellent. The facilities were beneficial to the group. A little noisy if a wedding function was on, but entertaining watching from the outside.
sawary is a nice place for outdoor weddings, the parking space is huge, the setup is great, you have many seating options and the catering service is very much accepted, all as per budget you want to spend
Really disappointed with this place, the valet even is not even polite to us, they wouldn't wait for me to get my son into his car seat, they wouldn't help to put my bag in the car when am carrying my son. I am from the town but I will be back at San Stefano next season
Spent a great day at Sawary with my son who has special needs. The staff were friendly and very welcoming and the life guards were extremely attentive and vigilant. The resort is clean and the views are breathtaking. I couldn't recommend it more.
The place may look good in the pictures only, we reserved a duplex for the family through air bnb, come to find out it was not available (I think they rented it again to higher bidder) later they gave us two separate rooms with unequal qualification, the place looks run down without proper maintenance, we argued to get enough pillow and bed covers, bed has make shift supports, exposed cables , bar cabinet’s door doesn’t close, exposed propane tank, elevator door with broken glass where everyone and kids can easily get hurt. Advice: who ever read this post stay away.
sawary resort and hotel is the best destination you can try. view is wonderful, service is excellent, staff is trained to influence you trip and accommodation well. you will never forget your stay in sawary resort and hotel
