Incredibly beautiful and serene. The view of the sea and location of the hotel is incomparable to any other place I’ve stayed in Lebanon. It is non-commercial and the staff make sure you are taken care of; everything from check-in to check-out is smooth. No stress, beautiful sunsets & a clean and laid-back atmosphere - what else could you ask for?

Great three-night stay in this hotel with very helpful and friendly staff! Also best beds ever! Because it was winter, the hotel was very quiet and the rooftop swimming pool was closed, but we enjoyed a sunny late afternoon at the outside deck with sea view. Batroun is a lovely little town and the port or city centre are only a few minutes walking from the hotel. Definitely a place to come back to in summer!

The property is easy to reach by car with a free parking space on site. The manager greeted us upon arrival and upgraded our pre booked deluxe room to a premium one having a jacuzzi inside the bathroom with a wonderful sea view. The room is spacious and spotlessly clean and has a small balcony overlooking the beach and the batroun old town. The bed is so comfortable with the best mattress and pillows. The hotel has a pool on the 5th floor and gives an easy access to the beach nearby. The breakfast was simple thus delicious composed of 2 croissants and some delicatessens and cheese. The property is a few steps Batroun where you can enjoy delicious meals and party all night. In addition, they provided us with a late check out to an hour defined by us also. Thanks a lot seaview hotel for making our stay memorable. Will be back again definetly :)

We stayed at the Sea View for three nights, and we had a wonderful time. Our room was fabulous; great big comfortable bed, lovely bathroom, good wi-fi, and immaculately clean. The breakfast was a pretty standard continental-style brekkie, and we were the given the option of having it served wherever we wanted it; in our room, on the rooftop terrace, or on the deck in front of the hotel, overlooking the beach. The hotel boss (and owner?) even found my wife a special big mug for her to enjoy her morning coffee, she felt like the Queen Of The Sea View! The public areas were clean and comfortable, and the rooftop pool and terrace were heavenly. The owner and his staff were attentive and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble for them. We were there just as the #LebanonProtests demonstrations started, and our journey from Beirut had left us a bit frazzled, and they did their utmost to make us feel relaxed and at home. True Lebanese hospitality. The hotel is situated on right on the beach, which is a small, pebbly cove, overlooking part of the Phoenician sea wall, and it’s about five minutes walk into Batroûn old town. The first part of the walk is through a bit of waste land, which isn’t lit at night, so taking a torch out is a good idea. Batroûn is a beautiful little town, and after the madness and mayhem of Beruit, it was a perfect place to chill-out, and the Sea View Hotel was a great place to recharge our batteries!

I recently stayed at this property and find the negative reviews on this website unfair. The property is modern and room was impecable and extremely comfortable (well appointed bed, furniture and clean bathroom. Staff were attentive, welcoming and provided an excellent service unlike other more upscale properties I stayed at during my trip in this country. We had a number of sightseeings planed so didn't spent much time in the property during the day so cannot comment about the common area facilities in detail other than they are well appointed and very well kept. There is a nice terrace overseeing the sea which was a delight for breakfast. Location wise it is is outside of city centre which I found positive and not an issue since we had car. Overall great value for money and highly recommended.

In spite of several reminder and follow-up with the staff, the AC of my room was not working properly. Exhaust was full of dust and mould. Wifi was extremely difficult to access, thus I had to activate my mobile data (10 usd/ day). Check-out was a nightmare; we are in a four star hotel, expecting a quick and easy process : card machine not working (had to go to ATM), no harmonization of the prices for each of us in spite we booked the same rooms. Nevertheless bed and sheets were extremely comfortable. Good hotel If you just want to spend few hours in a good bed.

+ the view and the rooftop swimming pool + the quality of the bed - the quality of the breakfast was very poor and disappointing - the beach close to the hotel was very dirty (waste..) - the staff was friendly but totally un experimented. The check-out was a nightmare (we had to re-negotiate the price during one hour) and each details we asked were complicated (some battery for the remote control, the AC) - the quality of the wifi was horrible

My husband and I booked this hotel because it looked amazing in the pictures, and because of the convenient location. Everything started out fine, until the shower in our room didn’t work neither did the tv. We told the hotel in the morning, and when we returned in the evening we still couldn’t shower. They sent someone up to fix it (it was 8pm at this time) he couldn’t fix it and we got a new room. Unfortunately it was the same issue with the water switching from boiling scolding water to absolutely freezing. We told the reception again that it was the same issue and they promised to fix it the next day. Next morning we spoke to the manager who was very apologetic about the situation which was nice, but unfortunately there wasn’t much actions behind the kind words. And in the end we ended up in a third room. A SMALLER ROOM, than we originally started out with. Here the tv and shower worked. But we felt disappointed not being offered a compensation or an upgrade for the inconvenience. Cause it was a huge inconvenience not being able to take a decent shower for two days, When it’s 40 degrees outside. Also the included breakfast on the hotel was disappointing, it looked like leftovers from a buffet that someone just scooped on a plate for us. Cucumbers were clearly not fresh as they were dry and soft. We didn’t eat it. it would have been better not to include anything and then just have people pay for it. (See pictures for reference) Third of all, the rooftop pool was filthy! There was dust and some dissolved food floating around along the sides, when we brought this to an employees attention he said it wasn’t anything to worry about cause it was chlorine. Well. It was disgusting and I have never seen chlorine looking like food. Anyway. This got pretty long. But I wanted to bring this to everyone attention, because it really had an unfortunate impact on our trip. We will not recommend this hotel to anyone neither would we stay here again. Also parking is a pain, one morning someone blocked our car from leaving, so we had to wait for 20 minutes for the staff to find the owner so he could move it. This is technically not hotels fault, but still added to an unpleasant experience

We heard there was a great place for sea food with a rooftop pool in Batroun and were not disappointed! Great service and a fresh sea breeze made it a wonderful experience. Very accommodating for a large group of friends. Must visit in Batroun!
